    I have to say that no one can compare to these guys! I’m currently in between two homes and they are always able to help no matter what the job is, big - bathroom leak, to little - showing us that there is a red button in the bottom of the disposal that needs to be reset- each visit is treated as urgent. Vince and Freddy are very kind, knowledgeable, and professional, but not stuffy. They’re honest and take pride and ownership of their work. If you need help with your heater/air, plumbing, new bath, these guys are the ones to call.

    I called them for the first time when my upstairs toilet started leaking into my kitchen. Even though I wasn’t a current customer at the time, they still came out within a couple of hours to fix the issue. The technician was very knowledgeable and helpful.     I would give the company 10 stars if that was an option. I called their emergency line on a Saturday when we discovered our 75 gallon hot water heater was leaking. Company owner Fred could not have been more helpful. He explained what valves to close and had his team show up at 7:30 a.m. today with a new hot water heater.Co-owner Vince and Nick were confronted with a 75 gallon hot water heater that was wedged into closet with our house heater, air conditioning unit, and a door opening that was more narrow than the hot water heater.Dave, who is a carpenter, was able to enlarge the door opening, and Vince and Nick got creative in getting the hot water out without damaging our heater or air conditioning unit.They also noticed a pin hole size opening on a brass valve that I expect others would have overlooked.They were very skilled in the installation of our new hot water heater and took the time to answer all of our questions. This was the first time I used this company. But I definitely will use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

    Absolute star company. I had an appointment for next week but the water heater leak started to get worse. I called them came out the same day and fixed the leak in stead of selling me a new one. Showed me the pipe was about the come off completely. Dodged a bullet there. Saved me $4500 on a 75 gal propane heater install. Extremely nice people great experience. Only Plummer I could find with over a 100 reviews and still a 5 star rating. Highly recommended.

    This company is wonderful. I called Fred at 8 a.m. on a Saturday when my daughter’s sink was clogged. A prior contractor had been unable to clear it, despite two service calls. Tyler arrived just an hour after my call, and worked tirelessly to clear the drain. He also discovered that the garbage disposal had been improperly installed. I am very impressed with this company and highly recommend them.

    The guys at Van J Masciantonio and Sons are top notch! My father in law first referred them to me in the midst of Covid and the dead of winter when my Grandmother’s heating system/old boiler died and her regular outfit couldn’t get out to help… Fred from Van J Masciantonio and Sons was at our house within the hour to fix things and to inevitably replace the whole boiler system. Since then, they have continued to impress us with their quick responses and remedies to pretty much anything that happens in regards to heat, air, plumbing, etc… Another thing to note, is that all of the guys always show up with a smile and a sense of humor and make you feel like family and truly taken care of.     Outstanding service from the office staff to the repairmen to installers. I was without heat over the weekend. The owner came out Sunday and got the old heater going. He told me to call if it went out again any time. It went out again. I didn’t call.. 7:30 AM the next day the office called to see if I had heat. Incredible that they cared so much. They installed the new heater that day!!

    I called them early in the morning about a possible sewer line clog issue. They came in 2 hours. They did some quick investigation and unclogged the sewer line from the sewer clean-out. Our most recent project of replacing a hot water heater was done efficiently, included an improvement we asked for, and came with a very detailed itemized bill.     This morning I walked down stair and saw a horrid pouch of water straining against the ceiling paint. Pop that with a knife and put a bucket under, then look up plumbers in the area. Van J. Masciantonio & Sons was the one in the area with highest number of ratings. Called them at 7 and got on a call-if-available slot. Got a call back at 9:00, and their team of two technicians came out at 10:25, analyze the issues carefully. After extensive testing, it was a load off my shoulder when they inform me that no pipe was bursting but it was a bath tub overflowed that caused this. They also help tightening up an air duct that was detached due to a shoddy installation (exposed when the ceiling is removed to look at the potential water damage. The issue is cleared up by 11:39AM. They cleaned up a floor carefully before they left too!

    I’m blown away by the service, knowledge, and consideration of this company. I called in and received same day service (with a smile). Tyler and Tyler (2 Tylers lol) replaced our water heater today. The work being done was thoroughly explained to me including a little crash course on how to adjust the dial. They even went the extra mile to correct a couple hazards. 10/10 definitely recommend.

    Our sump pump was replaced and a new drain created in the floor. All work was done by friendly, efficient and knowledgeable workers who left the site in a neat condition after each time they worked. I highly recommend them.

    After 7 years, original sump pump failed. Actually the float switch failed, but because we have the lowest foundation in a cluster of 4 townhouses, we get the most water; pump ran during every rain. Called around 10AM on a Friday and a team was there before noon. At my request they replaced the original and backup pumps and were finished by 3. Very satisfied with their service.

    I was so pleased with my recent service with this friendly family-run local business!!!It was a Friday afternoon before a freezing spell & my gas was shut off for a leak. My usual plumbing/heating guy couldn’t help me on such short notice until Monday when a snowstorm was predicted. I ran to the local hardware store to get a recommendation & miraculously saw a young guy with this company’s sweatshirt. I asked him if there was any chance he might be available & he encouraged me to call the office. The lady who answered the phone asked a few questions & seemed to understand what I needed. She said someone could be at the house within an hour & likely 1/2 hour. Ran out to gran something & got a call that the serviceman was at the house (10 minutes later?!). Serviceman was the grandson of the founder & fixed the problem quickly so the gas could be turned back on. Super friendly guy who talked to us about his family business and I was impressed with the way he described the company’s team & ethics. I didn’t feel like I was overcharged for an emergency visit & didn’t have to call a big company that might not have been so quick & caring. I definately will call them again & highly recommend this business
