    I dont know what all the negative reviews are of Stong Plumbing. I had a faucet issue in the master bath. Called them on a Thursday and Gina said someone would be out on Monday at 8 a.m. And at 8 a.m. on Monday Grayson showed up, explained what needed to be done and said he could do it on Thursday and it would take about 3 hours. On Wednesday, Gina called to say hed be there at 8 a.m. on Thursday and, again, Grayson was there at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday with all the tools needed to do the job. It took a little under 3 hours. Work was done professionally, on time (which I really appreciated) and there was no mess whatsoever left for me to clean up and now everything works again. If the bad reviews are down to costs-hey folks you are going to get what you pay for. But if you want it done right and on time, Stong did a great job.

    I had a pipe break between the garbage disposer and wall. I am in the 5th floor of a high rise condo, and it is the owners responsibility. Stongs team responded immediately, gave me a reasonable window of expectation for the tech to arrive, properly check in at the management office, assess the situation, and bring in all tools necessary for the repair. It was done in the time frame expected, the work was excellent, Grayson the tech was personable, knowledgeable, and respectful. I highly recommend this company.

    We/ve used Stong for all our plumbing work for more than 5 years. Theyre remarkably responsive, especially when weve had serious issues or emergencies. Most recently, I detected a small leak on the garage floor, under a bathroom. They were here the net business day. It wasnt easy to find the source, but they went through a process of elimination and accurately diagnosed the source of what will be an expensive repair to our shower. After hearing the alternatives, my wife and I agreed on a course of action and timetable. This is typical. based on prior work done - major and minor, were completely confident that we have the right solution and it will be executed on time, on budget, and with no mess at the end. Its great for our peace of mind to work with a company like this.

    I noticed that my toilet was leaking, requested quotes via one of the home improvement websites, and was contacted by Stong within minutes. They were able to send someone out immediately. John came out, diagnosed the problem and replaced my failed wax seal. The whole process took less than 4 hours from when I first noticed the leak. John’s workmanship and professionalism were outstanding. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. I will definitely be using Stong for my future plumbing needs and would recommend others to do so as well.

    Experts in their field and professional in every way. The owner and his team are responsive, detail oriented, and broadly knowledgeable. We had water in the basement resulting from a broken underground drain pipe, which they both diagnosed and replaced. The work was extensive, including removing and returning landscape pavers, doing a little grading, and more, that exceeded the “typical” scope of plumbing. They also diagnosed and replaced a toilet drain pipe which had a very small crack that leaked enough over time to damage the plaster ceiling below. They had to remove and replace the tile floor and the subfloor which they did with skill and minimal mess. I don’t usually write reviews, but it is a pleasure to laud this company.

    After the holiday weekend, our typical plumber that we use for pretty much everything was booked until the middle of the week. Our kitchen sink stopped draining sunday night and we wanted it fixed on Monday. I called Stong at 10am, and they sent someone out by 3pm. The visit itself was great. They used booties and were respectful of trying to maintain social distancing. They were finished in about an hour and the price was pretty good too.

    Had a water heater that started leaking on Friday night. Called Stong on Saturday. They sent a plumber over within 2 hours to assess and provided a quote. They returned Monday a.m. with a new heater and completed the installation by 1 p.m. The quality of the work was good, no shortcuts taken, and the workers took care to protect floors in the finished basement and clean up when finished. All very smooth and professionally done. Good communication throughout. Price was fair, after a bit of negotiation.

    I got to Stong Plumbing through HomeAdvisor.Stong Plumbing called me a few minutes after I requested a plumber to change faucets on my bathtub. Luckily they were in my neighborhood finishing up another job. They came right over. The 2 young plumbers were as nice as could be. They were able to do the job - replace some pipes, install new faucets, all that same day. The guys did a great job, cleaned up nicely, and my new faucets work great.I told them now they are my go-to plumbers.I recommend them without any reservation.

    When our kitchen faucet failed and needed immediate replacement on a Sunday, Stong Plumbing was the first choice for us to handle our emergency. As a long time customer, we knew we could count on them to get us through the situation. Their answer to our message was to send John to our home to assess the problem and to come up with a solution we could approve. Needless to say, John came up with a perfect replacement faucet and we were very happy with his professionalism, expertise, and explanation of just what had to be done. And he even applied a coupon that helped lower our cost. Again, as a long time customer with Stong Plumbing, we can highly recommend them for any plumbing needs you may have.

    The dispatcher advised there would be a $59 fee just to come out and said on two occasions, the plumber would want to do the work right then and there. The plumber walks in the door, said hes not doing the work today, wrote an expensive estimate, told me he can only come on weekdays when I work, and charged me $59. So basically they charge $59 to write an estimate. Said it would take 6 hours to change a toilet seal, a drain pop up valve and the knobs that shut off the water for the washing machine. Knobs with clear access.Amendment: The company called me regarding my negative experience and resolved the issue by refunding the $59.
