My wife and I were looking at several contractors for installing recessed lighting when we discovered Kings Heating, Air & Electric through a Google search. We’re so glad we found them! Treg and Derek did a fantastic job with our recessed light installation. They were extremely detail-oriented and paid close attention to the ideal placement of each light. The pricing was also very reasonable compared to other contractors. We’d be happy to work with them again on future projects.

This review is long overdue but I did want to live with my new HVAC system for a while before writing a review. Kings replaced my electric forced air furnace with a new heat pump and air handler in January 2024. They used my existing ducting and installed a wall unit in the one room the ducting doesn’t reach.Kings was not the lowest bidder and they were not cheap but they were the only contractor I spoke with that inspired confidence from beginning to end. Christopher, Josh, Justin, Treg and one other guy whose name has escaped me but should absolutely be acknowledged here were all great. My house threw them a couple curveballs and they explained everything to me in understandable terms as they adjusted plans and found acceptable solutions to problems I’d have never solved myself. The system has run flawlessly and enjoying my first summer with air conditioning made it worth every penny. My electricity bill has decreased by an average of about 25%.My experience working with Kings was great and I recommend you call them for any heating, AC or electrical needs you may have.

We had Kings out to install a new Air Handler & Heat Pump combo. We were looking to add the Air Condition aspect for those hot summer days while looking to max our efficiency during the winter. The Mitsubishi was an awesome choice, quiet and beautiful!! Mike answered all questions prior to install that helped make our decision easier.Taylor & Patrick showed up on time and I gotta tell you these two worked really well together. Blindfold them and I bet they could still get the job done. Later joined by the Electrical Gurus of Derek & Treg these fellas got us the power we needed.I can’t say much more about it. Great experience and now enjoying some football in a cool house with a cool beverage!!Highly recommend!!

Fantastic! Christopher was our first contact and he was beyond nice and professional. I couldn’t ask for a better first impression of the company, he was truly outstanding!! The install was completed the very next day for thousands less than competing bids and the crew was also amazing. Every time I called the office they were fantastic and had very easy financing options that only took minutes to complete. Highly recommend!!

Kings heating was phenomenal. From start to finish they were accommodating, kind, and went above and beyond. Mike came out and gave me a quote and worked within my price range and wants/needs! He gave me an amazing deal. Then they (Jason and Andrew) installed my heat pump and were professional and very efficient. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with my new furnace and the process involved, from beginning to end. Christopher came out initially to evaluate the environment and assess my needs. The furnace was installed within one week of my accepting the bid. Josh and Andrew arrived for the installation on time, were professional (yet personable), and very knowledgeable. Christopher came back for a follow-up walkthrough, addressed all of my concerns and clearly answered all of my questions. He took the time to explain all aspects of my new furnace. One bonus point is that they provide surge protector installation to protect the electronics inside the heating system, which is helpful during storm seasons when power surges occur.

The staff at kings is amazing. Especially Josh n josh.. the Granite Falls Senior Centers hvac went completely down during the summer. We had Kings Heating install a new furnace and a heat pump – and just in time for this latest summer heat wave. We had been using a small portable air conditioner. We can attest that the cooling part of the heat pump is working great. The whole house is cool and comfortable. This winter, we are looking forward to minimal running of our furnace since the heat pump will then provide heat. We will save a little money and will help the environment by using a lot less natural gas.The Kings Heating crew were professional and efficient during all phases of this home project of ours. I was very pleased with my installation experience for my new Carrier furnace yesterday. The crew that came was on time, friendly, took care to keep the space clean around where they were working, and to avoid damages to my house as they moved the equipment around. Despite the snow and cold temperatures they were able to complete the job in half a day and the system is working great this morning! I appreciated this company’s professionalism in giving a thorough and honest quote for the job, especially noticing a venting problem, that no other company caught when they came to bid, and their offer of free zero interest financing for one year right on their website. Kings Heating did a great job getting us a great deal on a new HeatPump system- from the service tech that explained what was going on with our old system to the sales rep that did the specs and gave us 5 really good options at varying costs and answered all of our questions so we could make the best informed decision for our home. Then came installation- they arrived when they said and kept me informed of the progress. The job was completed on schedule. The installation team was super nice and answered all of my questions and gave a great tutorial before leaving. Everyone that came to our home were professional- always put booties on and were fantastic with our dogs. I highly recommend Kings Heating. A big shout out to both of the Josh’s- our sales rep Josh and our installer Josh. One of the nice touches I loved was that before arrival- I received a text with a picture of who to expect with their name and a short bio- very family oriented business.

Excellent experience having Kings replace my furnace and AC unit.Our furnace failed Tuesday morning, Josh P. was able to come out to give me an estimate same day, he gave me many options in terms of my budget and we talked through all the details of what would work for me. Kings was able to schedule a furnace replacement that same week so we had heat again by Thursday afternoon.Mike, Jason and Josh H. provided the installation services, all were very professional and respectful of our space while they worked. Kings Heating Air and Electric is a highly organized, responsive, and professional operation. We were looking to replace our furnace which was nearing the end of its lifetime and potentially install an AC unit, which would be new to our home. The consultant that came out gave careful attention to our home and how various systems could be used to heat and cool. They promptly provided us with a detailed quote and a few options. Kings offered a competitive quote and warranty. We were looking to preserve space in our utility closet so that our new furnace and deep freezer could coexist in the space, Josh the installation technician found a workaround to install our new furnace with a minimal footprint in the existing space and our new furnace and exterior AC unit were installed with minimal disruption.The technicians were courteous professional and did a neat and clean job. We also appreciated Kings sending text updates with a photo of our technician ahead of their anticipated arrival. I would recommend Kings to friends and neighbors without hesitation.

He was professional and cordial and offered excellent information about the work ahead. The installation was quick and did all the cleanup afterwards. Josh took the time to explain maintenance steps go over the new heater and thermostat and explain new features. Kings make the inspection process easy and it seemed the Seattle permit department loves them and their work.I would recommend this company to anyone. The long and short review. Short: YES! I would very much recommend these folks. Very straightforward, fast, competitive and super professional. They are very customer service and satisfaction oriented. And no, I’m not being paid for the review. The longer one: Our 11 year old furnace stopped working suddenly and a family friend very enthusiastically recommended we call Kings. The furnace is one of the few things in the house I can’t/don’t work on and rely on the advice of professionals exclusively. We had one of their technicians come out (showed up right on time with text message reminders) and I was impressed with his knowledge and how he took the time to explain in layman’s terms what happened to our existing furnace as well as the health and setup of our existing systems. Unfortunately, replacement made more sense than repair, so one of their advisors went over the whole house, and addressed/gave several options on everything from simple replacement to whole house A/C. No sales pitch, just laid it out. The guys who did the installation were solid. They showed up right on time, were good guys, worked with efficiency and attention to detail. When they were done, they really took the time to explain all their work and everything we should know. All new exhaust ductwork to replace the junk that was in there before. Replacing a furnace unexpectedly really sucks. However I would not hesitate to call Kings or recommend them to anyone who needs help. Nice folks.

The technician did a good job, good communication. The job was easy, to texchange the igniter of our furnice it took him les than an hour. The office responded promptly, we liked that. Kings has done multiple jobs at our properties and I was happy with their results. The office charged us almost $700. I believe that was too much and the person from the office scolded me, very pushy, for not paying immidiately on the job. This part was not pleasant because I asked to have the invoice first and to pay it by check, which I did.

They went over what warranties were available through the manufacturer. No high pressure sale they were very honest and transparent about what my furnace needed to get my heat back on as soon as possible. They also mentioned my mid efficiency furnace was over 20 years old and should be replaced soon. Great experience with Kings Heating & AC to install a ductless system. After a competitor took my deposit and then decided to inform me weeks later that installation was going to be another two months for an open spot, I called Kings and they were able to accomodate me within about a week!! The installation of the ductless system is pro-professional. A very solid piece of equipment which was cleanly installed and very solidly attached to the outside (off the ground) which save me having to install a concrete pad due to the ground slope where it was wanted to be installed. Great customer communication at the office and with the sales person. I suggest them for any of your future hvac needs. Very competitive priced as well for a family owned business.

Kings has taken care of our furnaces, hot water heaters, and air conditioners for over 26 years. They were referred to us by a friend, and weve stayed with them because theyve always gone the extra mile to take care of us, including coming out on a Christmas Eve to replace a hot water heater that decided that Christmas Eve was a great time to fail. Their employees (and owners) have always been professional, knowledgable and friendly and have made us feel as if were more than just customers. During the height of the pandemic, when air conditioners were in very short supply, they found us a unit and installed it before wildfire smoke arrived in our area. Their most recent visit was for a maintenance tune-up on our a/c unit. The technician, Ben, was incredibly intelligent and professional, and worked in the time to install an air scrubber on our HVAC system. Wed considered an air scrubber, but werent certain it was right for our home. After talking with Ben, and hearing his knowledgable explanations and reasons an air scrubber might help us (e.g., pets, allergies), we knew that it was a good decision for us. This was the first time we have had Ben as our Technician, and were very pleased with his high-level skills and electrical/mechanics knowledge. We appreciate that Kings is a locally-owned company, and were grateful to their owners, staff and technicians for looking out for us for decades.

I cannot recommend this company enough. We used them for our hot water heater replacement, heater maintenance, heater trouble shooting, and now the replacement of our heater and installation of AC with new thermostat. Beau Sacle and Josh Hopkins were the team that did the installation and they were great. There were on time and friendly, I did not have to lock up the dog as they were friendly towards him. The installation took two days and there were professional and cleaned up after very well, you could not tell they were here aside from the appliances. Hello. This is a shout out to Ben Lundahl who came by today (Jan 09, 2023) for a maintenance call for our furnace. Not only was he on time and wore protective covers on his shoes every time he came in from his van, but he offered (and I accepted!) to let me sit there and ask questions as he worked. He took things apart, measured electrical, CO, and heat output, and even re-ran some wires that were a bit too close to the heat, among much else. He put me in a good mood, showed me readings from his devices, and, because I asked him to, talked out loud as he worked. I’m more informed (I believe I can impress my wife with this knowledge!) and he seemed to go out of his way to be sure I understood my furnace and what my options were. I even asked him if it was possible to request him the next time I had a maintenance call or a problem. It was a great hour (a little more) of my time and well worth every penny. Thanks Ben!

Eight days ago our furnace stopped working. I called several places to come out and look at it. Kings was the only one who was willing to squeeze us in, every other company said they couldnt because they were too busy. Kings made it a priority because we were without heat and have a baby. They sent someone out the next day. Richard called ahead to ask if he could come early, was thorough, and explained our options to fix or replace. We knew it needed to be replaced soon since it was over 20 yrs old. We opted for that option and Kings sent someone to give us a quote that very afternoon. Bi came, was friendly, also thorough, and spent his evening finishing up the quote so we could have it ASAP to make our decision and get a new furnace in quickly. We decided to finance for 12 months with no interest. Michaela made sure we got all the documents signed and approved in time for them to install today, a Saturday! Mike and Michael agreed to work on a Saturday to get our family heat. They arrived early this morning and did an amazing job, started their work with no power (power outage), explained everything, installed our Nest thermostat, and left everything clean. I am truly grateful and amazed at how kind everyone is at Kings and how much they went out of their way. Truly grateful and very happy with the service. Definitely recommend.

Ive been using Kings for about 6-7 years now, after dealing with a few other somewhat slimy local companies (to be unnamed), and Im consistently impressed by them. No one likes expensive repairs and maintenance, but I always feel like they give it to me straight and dont try to upsell anything hard. They very clearly articulate the work thats most important, what can be put off, and what is recommended but completely optional. They dont nickel and dime over small things. The work isnt *cheap*, but its fair for the market (possibly even a bit on the lower side) and the attention to detail is always excellent.Ive had the same technician coming out for nearly the entire time, so when someone new came out today I got to play the fun game of: was my normal guy just great, or is this a pattern of excellence for Kings?Happy to report that it was pretty much the same great experience. Ben caught a few problems during our maintenance and was able to fix them same day, and went the extra mile on a few small details that hadnt been caught until now (some exposed copper piping outside that needed a bit of insulation, for example), and went over everything he touched with detailed photos.Ive also had on and off issues with excessive sediment build-up that caused condensation in my utility room, and hes the first person to suggest putting in a nice little p-trap that I can service and clean myself. Given that this is a recurring problem, itll hopefully save some future calls and frustration.I pretty consistently recommend Kings to other folks and hear back nothing but positive things. Initially I was not a happy camper, I was scheduled for 8-10 as I had requested the first appointment of the day. The technician called me when he was 25 minutes out and arrived around 10:15. He apologized profusely for being late and shared that somehow he had been double booked for the 8-10 slot. Not his doing whatsoever as he does not schedule the appointments.When it came to Ben’s attention to detail, he was excellent. He was friendly and clearly knows what he is doing. The issue we ran into was that the condensate pump had failed. He was swift in getting it replaced. Ben explained the issue and I’m extremely grateful that he did his due diligence and did everything he should during routine service visit.There is a metal surface of some type under the furnace, however it is very clear that this is very old. King’s Heating installed this unit in early 2018. I have to wonder why a new pan with a lip all the way around, had not been installed under the unit. Thankfully this malfunction was discovered during this routine maintenance visit, however what prompted me making the appointment was that I was getting a slight musty smell from the closet where the unit is located. Fortunately too, the furnace rarely kicks on during the summer else I would have had a way bigger problem. All of which could have been avoided if a new pan (with a lip all the way around that could contain overflow from the condensate pump) had been installed.This of course has NOTHING to do with Ben and his professionalism. In fact, whenever I have my unit serviced again, I will be requesting that he be sent my way.

Kings Heating has hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced. I called Kings about getting AC installed. The initial consultation was a breeze, they laid out my options with no pressure or sales pitch. I agreed to go with them and they scheduled me an installation 5 days later. I decided just a couple days before the installation that I would rather get a heat pump and called to see if it was too late to switch my purchase. Their response No problem, you are the customer. They switched my order that day and didnt have to move out the install I scheduled. The installation crew came out and did an amazing job. They explained to me every part of the install and how to use the new thermostat. Then as they were wrapping up they noticed some window paint left on my car from my recent wedding day. When I explained that I havent been able to get it off they whipped out some industrial cleaning wipes and were able to scrub the rest of it off! I couldnt believe it. Having a leak in my HVAC system found me having to turn off my system in unseasonably warm weather. I made an appt with Kings and they sent Ben the very next day. Ben was super professional but also friendly which is increasingly difficult to find today. After checking out my rooftop system, he indicated the dripping forming on the inside of the front panel was going to be tough to diagnose. In his 16 yrs in the business hed seen something like this only a few times, making it difficult to determine the exact cause. He spoke with techs at both Bryant and Carrier, and then his boss (Josh) showed up with a special teensy tiny hex key need to access a section on the rooftop system. I ended up needing 2lbs of refrigerant, and though Ben was here for more than four hours they honored the service charge only fee. Sure, I had to pay for the refrigerant which is spendy but so worth it. To say Im impressed isnt nearly strong enough. Transparency is our new norm, dont hesitate to call on Kings Heating and Air Conditioning - I think theyre amazing!

These folks are great! I have used King’s Heating for two different projects. The first was replacing our dead furnace. A contractor friend recommended King’s and I couldn’t have been more pleased. They responded quickly, which was nice since we had no heat in the middle of winter! They gave a clear and complete estimate and took the time to walk me through the details. Another company’s estimate was higher, and third company wanted to reschedule the morning of the original appointment, no thanks. All the staff at Kings have been great. I worked with both Gary and Mike and found them professional, very knowledgeable, and respectful, especially of our house and time.The second project, I asked them to come out because some rooms in our house where way colder then others. The basement would be warm/hot, but the bedrooms would be cold. So they moved the thermostat to more centralized place, and added some vents/circulation to our basement TV room – what a difference! It was like magic. We no longer need a space heater in our kid’s room because the heat in the upstairs bedrooms is the same throughout the house.The bonus for me, King’s Heating is a family ran business, and interacting with Gary (the owner) you can tell he is a stand up guy with integrity and high standards, and it shows in his staff. Great experience from the person who answered the phone, through the techs that came out to the house. Highly recommend! Our AC stopped working, so we had Kings Heating come out to take a look and let us know what was wrong with the unit. The first tech that came out was polite, informative, and did a through inspection of the AC and found that we had a leak and had lost our Freon. We received a quote, that included a very expensive valve, which the tech said he included on the quote to make sure there werent any surprises when the repair was done, but we may not need the part. When we had the repair done, a different tech came, but he was as great as the first one and found the problem right away and fixed the leak. He said that the valve was operating fine and although it may fail in the future, he didnt want to replace a valve that is still working.

He even looked at pictures I sent in a text. Turned out that we needed a technician to come take a look. Josh was here in less than 45 minutes. I called them to run a new gas line for our dryer and a heater in my garage shop because of the apparent quality of the work they did then, and Im happy I did.From Micaela in the office, to Don who estimated and sold the work, to Mike and Tyler who handled the installation, these folks were friendly, highly capable and clearly passionate about doing a great job. Getting this gas line from point A to point B in this multi-level, custom home was complicated and required working in tight spaces, running through a crawl space then outside the house and back in at one point, and they not only worked it out, they did an excellent job.Throughout my experience with Kings Heating I felt like they cared about not just the work they were doing, but about us, and I can recommend them without reservation. REALLY know their stuff! Our previous furnace company, who wed been with 30 years, messed up installing a furnace 12 years ago, causing it to fail early. Kings knew exactly what had gone wrong, plus gave us a better quote for a new furnace. So glad we switched!

Our experience with Kings Heating Air & Electric was top notch. From the estimator Mike Brickman who patiently answered all my questions and brought out electrician Treg who installed a car charger, which at least three other electricians said could not be done without drawing more power to the house on top of wiring for the new heat pump, to installers Josh and Jason who were incredibly pleasant despite working inside in cramped conditions and outside in the cold rain. Five plus stars to this team. Not cheap but value provided: you get what you pay for.

We have had everything from a new furnace to expert technicians coming to try to shore up our original furnace which had many challenges. We so appreciate them. Very responsive, polite, down to business, creative when its needed ( we have a challenging space for our furnace). Definitely love these people. They always have a solution to any issue we have!

Josh and Jack did a great job, they explained why my old AC unit wasnt working as well as it should have been before it died, they also gave me options when the replacement unit would have taken up most of my walkway between my house and my fence. The installation quality was good and they were very professional.

We had an A/C disaster off hours. I called Kings and they responded immediately to offer troubleshooting. When that didn’t fix the issue, they called me first thing the next am and managed to fit in a diagnostic visit that day. They sent out a representative (Nick S) who was incredibly nice, very professional and super competent. He diagnosed and fixed the problem. I’ve used Kings before and have been pleased but this was really exceptional. A+

He was thorough, explained the process in great detail and was willing to answer any questions.
