During the jobs I had in the past in the Lynchburg VA area, Southern Air Business Division was responsible for installing and maintaining the Environmental Control Systems for the Mainframe Computer Systems. For calls to them, they solved our problems in a prompt and very professional manner. When we needed to replace our home HVAC system and acquire a new generator, we contacted Southern Air Residential. They gave us reasonable price quote, installed the devices quickly, with minimal disruptions and with a quality installation. They continue to perform preventative maintenance on the devices, keeping them running like new. I highly recommend Southern Air for your Business and Residential needs. Also, thanks to Bobby who performed our last P. M. Very efficiently and answered my questions.

We were new to Central Virginia, and aftter multiple bad experinces with Heating & Air Conditioning companies in the greater Lynchburg area, finally we were fortunate to have found and signed up with Southern Air for all our Heating, Air and Duct needs. A technician from the company named Caleb visited our property, and made repairs and adjustments to what a previous company terribly installed. We thank him and thank the staff at Southern Air.

Based on my recent experience with several HVAC companies, Southern Air has won me over completely. THANK-YOU Jason and Southern Air! After a malfunction occurred with my HVAC system, several companies assessed the situation and suggested costly replacement. Jason came out on a second opinion consultation. He not only assessed the situation, but took the time to fix the primary issue and test it out to make sure the system was working properly! I will be going with Southern Air for my maintenance plan since it is clear their technicians know how the systems work and should be maintained. And when it comes time for the unit to be replaced, I will trust them to do the job. What a peace of mind!

Our AC went out on Sunday and we’ve been dealing with the headache of a home warranty! After 5 days of living in a hot house we decided to call someone on our own and contacted Southern Air.They quickly sent out Max Younger to do an initial inspection of our units and identify our needs. Max went above and beyond in not only identifying our problem (much simpler than what the home warranty tech determined) but got us up and running in a matter of minutes.Next, we proceeded with servicing the system and they had Jason Brown come out within a few hours. Jason did an excellent job servicing our units and giving us a few viable options for the short term.All in all, the service we received from Southern was top notch! Never once did they try to sell us on anything and on the contrary, they saved us from needlessly spending thousands on a short-term fix. They have definitely made a return customer out of us.

Recently our heat pump went out. It was on July 4th weekend. I called Tuesday morning after returning from a business trip and asked if there was anyway i could get a Service Tech to come check my unit? The scheduler was very polite and said sure. At 3:00 that “same” afternoon Mr Dustin Dinwiddie arrived. Within a few minutes he had isolated the problem and the American Standard was up and running again. I was so impressed i bought the yearly Maintenance Agreement Package. Without reservation i strongly recommend you calling Southern Air if you have a cooling/heating problem. On a 1 to 10 scale i am glad to give Southern Air and Mr Dinwiddie a 10+.

He is very precise and most conscientious in conducting tests on unit. Any questions or concerns regarding equipment are explained in detail as he is very knowledgeable and a customer focused worker.07/03/24- Caleb Jefferson, Service Technician performed six month preventive maintenance today. He conducted tests in regards to efficiency of unit & to determine if performance is normal. He is always very conscientious, acts in a most professional manner & provides a detailed review of service completed. I have always been most pleased with service provided by Southern Air from office staff to field representatives.01/08/24 - Six month preventive maintenance was performed. Caleb Jefferson, Service Technician conducted tests on performance of indoor & outdoor unit. I have been a customer of Southern AIr for approximately nine (9) years & have always been most pleased with service received from office staff to technicians.I made an emergency call & received a prompt response to resolve problem. The service person responding (Caleb Jefferson) was very focused on the problem. He checked & tested several things before pinpointing the problem. His professionalism, knowledge, and mannerism left me with a very strong impression of him & the fact that Souhern Air has high quality employees such as him.

My heatpump stopped cooling and temp was up to 80. I called Southern Air Residential for help. Jason Brown arrived, put shoe covers on before entering my home and went right to work. He explained repairs needed to me and had me up and cooling before leaving. He also explained the importance of keeping my system maintained to help prevent breakdowns during excessive heat or cold. I now have cooling, a maintenance agreement for twice a year cleaning and clean coils on heatpump that were stopped up. I highly recommend Southern Air Residential and Jason Brown if he’s available.

Good, Professional service for years.This particular time the system could not quickly, easily be repaired.But the tech tried to install a temporary fix which also did not work. But this was very helpful and maybe beyond the call of duty. He also gave me options.Very young man, but knowledgeable and considerate/ mannersbeyond normal.Since a system check was just performed very recently, it wassurprising the system failed so quickly after the inspection.But this is a very very old system and we were blessed for the system to have lasted as long as it did [ 1988]

I was told that the tech would arrive between 12:00 and 1:00, and sure enough he arrived on time. After finding the issue and discussing options I decided to replace the 16-year-old unit with a newer more efficient and reliable unit before the summer heat arrived.Tyler was out on Tuesday morning, and I had a quote for 3 options by Tuesday afternoon. I accepted an option that day and told Tyler that I had family coming into town the next week, and thanks to MeChelle and Tyler the installation happened on Friday, three days after the quote.The installation team was great, JJ and Landon were on time, courteous and did the installation in a quality fashion, Southern Air registered the warranty.I would recommend Southern Air enthusiastically!Michael AllenForest, VA
