If I could give more stars I would I worked with Tim(supervisor) and Hayden he should be a supervisor I recommend it but these guys were absolutely amazing they explained everything they were doing and why they also we’re very clean and on time they had to replace my tub which was a 2 day job and it looks absolutely amazing I here in old mill townhomes and they are a older complex so some things had to be fixed and replaced and my tub was one of them I absolutely recommend this company and especially these two guys they know their stuff and very professional and nice gentlemen I just want them to know I appreciate everything they have done for me to make my home more comfortable.

I’ve always heard great stuff about this company from several other people, so I didn’t hesitate with trying to use them to service my very old oil furnace. From the initial visit to a full day of install, my husband and I were impressed with their knowledge, work ethic, and professionalism. I enjoy understanding how things work and they had no trouble explaining things to a lay person. I worked with Charlie, Alex, Nate, and Michael and Im sure all of the staff are excellent. We are confident about the installation of our new mini split unit and about the fact that we now have a company that can service our HVAC in the future years!

Our 23 year old water heater was due for a replacement and being a new home owner I hadn’t the slightest clue of how to solve the issue. Rob T. came by the house and spent about an hour with me detailing all of my options and helping me come to the best conclusion for me and my family. I ended up going the financing route and the process was quick and easy. Added on the Brown’s membership for a discount on services and twice yearly HVAC and plumbing inspections. Another tech, Jess, came out and started the removal and installation process. This was not an easy space to work and he was in and out the house several times in the pouring rain. Nonetheless, he did an amazing job. Very professional and friendly. Work looks top notch. Rob T. came by again later that day and both guys stayed around to explain how the new heater functions and made sure it was working properly before they left. I would definitely use Brown’s again for plumbing services and would recommend them to others in the community. Good job guys!

We always ask and have Jason work on our system. We are on a service schedule and he is very thorough and knowledgeable. He is also personable and will answer any questions you may have. Most service workers just want to be left alone but Jason enjoys the company and will explain what he is doing if you are interested in that. When Brown’s set up an appointment they are also on time, so if your time is valuable than they are excellent at keeping a tight schedule. Can not ask for better service! A+A+A+

I came home to a huge plumbing mess this afternoon. Water was filling my bathroom. Called Browns and they were there within the hour. Robert and Hayden were very understanding as my anxiety was pretty high. Their calmness calmed me down. They had my situation fixed in less than an hour. Browns has been taking care of my heating and air for years and now they have plumbing. I cant say enough about the great service from Robert and Hayden yesterday afternoon! I am pretty sure they have a customer for life.

The company has a great text alert system that let me know when the tech was on his way from his previous appointment to my house. The service tech was very warm/kind, as well as professional and clean. He was very gracious about my messy basement and kindly explained a couple of things to me about my unit. I can definitely see how having this preventative maintenance done regularly will be a big help in keeping my unit running longer.

Well, once again we have received superb service from Corrie. He use to be with another HVAC company and we had him as our service maintenance provider since 2013. When we found out he was moving over to Browns it was a no brainer to change companies. Corrie is very personable, cordial and professional. We have grown together and call Corrie our friend. Others may learn its those on the street providing excellent service that matters.

The technicians at Brown spent 45 min on the phone troubleshooting with me before deciding they needed to come out. They were so kind to encourage me to push my appointment to Monday as a Saturday call would have tripled my bill. The tech arrived on time and made the repair easily. I will definitely be using them again for future repairs. Most HVAC companies will try to upsell or tell you that you need a new system - these guys were just honest and made the repair as needed.

We had their plumbers come out to evaluate our Rheem water heater that was giving us an error message. They came and did a full diagnostic and ordered the parts for the fix. Their prices were very reasonable and they were super responsive and communicative. The guys who came out were friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve found it pretty difficult to get various contractors to respond or come out when they say they will so this was a great experience in comparison. I’d definitely call them first and save yourself the headache.

My daughter is new to Lynchburg and her A/C would not turn on. I asked around and a trusted friend recommended Browns. We gave them a call and they were quick to respond. Wendell was the service tech that came. He was very knowledgable, curious and professional. He explained everything he did, made some recommendation and was not at all pushy. We really appreciate someone like Wendall. He was able to get the thermostat changed out and the system working quickly. I was so pleased I scheduled Browns to come to my home and do a service on my furnace. Again, they were quick to respond and Wendall was the service tech that came. He did the same outstanding service with me as he did with my daughter. I am very please my friend. recommended Browns. However, the price charged ($499.00) for changing an outside faucet in less than an hours work was exceptionally high. As much as I liked this company I would be hesitant calling them again with these inflated prices.

They were great! I reached out because of all the positive reviews and they are well deserved. I’ve never needed a plumber before, but they were extremely helpful, quick and friendly in taking care of my project. I called another plumber that told me it would take 6-8 weeks to get someone to come to me, but Brown’s sent someone out the same day within a few hours! I’m not gonna say it was cheap cause plumbers are generally really really expensive, but it was clear that they make an effort not to overcharge. Definitely recommend.

Dylan and his crew always responded quickly and provided great quality service for our new construction AC installment. They always showed up when they said theyd be here and even took off their shoes once the flooring was down. When we had construction delays on our end, Browns was very flexible and quick to reschedule. All the installers spoke English and were very professional, so we knew what they were saying to one another and to us. They didnt cuss at all either! Plus, they were slightly less expensive than other AC installers we received quotes from, which was a great bonus. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks Dylan and the team at Browns!

First time calling a plumber (newer home owners). I knew I needed to call someone well respected in our area and called Browns first. They were very helpful over the phone when I felt I had no clue what I was talking about lol. They got us in within a couple of days and Allen was a huge help in diagnosing our problems and changes needed. He was on time, thorough, and explained everything in a way that even I understood. Would definitely recommend and they have earned a forever client.

I had an initial meeting with Caleb today and was very impressed with his attention to detail and his professionalism. He quickly found the problem with our outside unit. He offered several options to remedy the problem and answered all of my questions. The guys will be returning soon to do a new install. Very impressed with this company so far!

Our air decided to go out on a 96° day. We only moved to Virginia a year ago so had to get a recommendation since we didnt know anyone yet. We were referred to Browns and from start to finish we had an exceptional experience. We called the office at 8am, were given a 10am to 2pm window and received a text and email follow up with the employees name and picture (Travis Bass). We received another text when he was 15 minutes out. He arrived at 10am and was very professional and efficient. He addressed the problem in about one minute and had it fixed in 10 minutes. He also wore a mask, which I greatly appreciated in these covid times. Great service all around and highly recommend.Edit to add that weve lived here 4 years now and have continued to use your maintenance program. We had another great experience with Jason and Daniel today. Thanks so much for all you do!Edit to add that we had another great encounter with Jason today for our 6 month checkup (year 5!). Browns was extremely responsive when we had our A/C go down on a Friday. They sent out their tech Caleb and he went over and beyond for us, coming back with window units to keep our house cool after we chose to go with them for our new A/C unit. He worked well past 5pm for us on a Friday to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We highly recommend Browns and Caleb in particular, he really made our weekend livable in our house with his thoroughness and his professionalism.
