Chris is amazing with his work! Had a previous contractor hired by someone else that did more harm than good. Needless to say Chris came by without hesitation & did a great job cleaning up the mess! I would recommend him to any & all that need an electrician!

Chris Upton, owner of Upton Electric, has been our go-to electrician for over 3 years. We had power outages after we bought our home. Chris rewired the outside electrical entry box. Another electrician may have recommended a whole new set up and rewiring for several thousand dollars. Our renovated home had cheap builders grade lighting fixtures. Chris installed new fixtures and ceiling fans throughout. Our kitchen island stove downdraft fan died. Chris replaced it as well as replacing a dangerous outlet under the sink. Chris is knowledgeable, helpful, and a great guy!

Chris did a great job of wiring and installing a couple of outdoor ceiling fans and replacing a bathroom fan for me at my home in Wolfforth. His price was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Upton Electric!

Chris was simply great. I called him on a Friday morning and left a voice. He promptly called back and tried to understand the problem. My attic AC outlet was burned. He showed up in that afternoon and explained to me what was happening. He changed the outlet and the wire. The service was very professional, affordable and quick. I highly recommend him for house electrical works in the Lubbock area. And thanks to Google Review for helping me to find him.

Chris installed some ceiling fans and moved a light fixture for us and did an excellent job. He responded to our initial request for service within 30 minutes and set up a service call for the next day. He let us know when he was on his way and arrived on time. His pricing was very reasonable and I would recommend him to anyone.

I have a wood burning fireplace (no gas) and will never deal with burning wood and clean up as I am an old lady. I needed a plug in the fireplace for electric log heater. Called Chris. Immediate text back, date set, he was on time, courteous and professional. He looked the situation over, made some calls to make absolutely sure it would be safe to have an electrical outlet in the firebox for what I had in mind. He worked hard!!!!Got ‘er done. I recently had Chris from Upton Electric install a chandelier and lower another. He did an awesome job. Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. He pays attention to details which I found refreshing It was the best experience Ive had with hiring an electrician. I do feel bad though that he had to climb up and down three flights of stairs several times. Sorry Chris.

We are new home owners in East Dallas (White Rock Lake area) and I had Chris Upton come out to the house to fix a few electrical problems that the house inspector found. Instead of just fixing everything and charging me a big bill, he actually examined the breaker box issues and explained in great detail that it did not need a repair and was actually in great shape. I had him install a few switches, and not only did he do a great job (at a reasonable price), but he saw a few things here and there that need a small fix, such as a loose plug panel, and he just fixed them and didnt charge me extra. I cant recommend him high enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Chris and his crew. I have hired them twice, once to replace and update an old electrical panel that was past its prime, and again to track down an intermittent lighting problem. First class service and scheduling on both jobs. They were on time, priced competitively and conscientious in their work manner. In addition to that they were always very pleasant to work with, pleasant and friendly while doing their jobs and extremely good at cleaning up after themselves - that is always a bonus! I will hire Upton Electric again and will confidently refer them as a trustworthy source to others in need of their services.

Chris and his crew showed up on time every time they said they would be at the house, didnt leave a scrap of trash anywhere, and were more than courteous and even good with my dog.A lot of companies may do what I described above, but Upton does so much more. I was quoted a price well below other companies, and they started work that Saturday since they did not have any other times available during that week.However, they really came through for us when Oncor showed up during the job and -without cause or reason- took my meter away; leaving my pregnant wife, our 1-yr old and me without power and no clear way to get it back on, or even any justification for leaving us in the dark both figuratively and literally. Chris came up with a solution nevertheless, and when Oncor finally came back to replace my meter 4 days later, Chris was there to meet the tech after 9:30 pm and made sure everything worked.Just about any company can give you a good price and show up on time. But when cr@p hits the fan I would rather have Upton Electric working on my job and will do so from now on.
