Our electricity went out in half the house. The hall with the AC and refrigerator After 5. On a Friday. On a three day weekend.Amp had techs (Rudy and Mario) out within 2 hours. It was fixed within 4. I didn’t need a second mortgage either!Great company and the guys couldn’t have been nicer!

When I called to schedule my appointment, I was greeted with a friendly and personable individual who did not act like me calling was an inconvenience in the slightest (like most people act on the phone these days). They got me in quickly and Greg and Miguel came over as two exterior outlets were not working. They were incredibly respectful, professional, and personable. I felt 100% comfortable leaving all the doors open and letting them move about the house and garage and backyard as they pleased. They identified the problem quickly, but also went out of their way to check extra plugs for me just to be certain (even though it was freezing cold outside). They both worked very efficiently but did not sacrifice their quality of work with their speed. When they were finished (which didnt take very long at all) I was absolutely floored with how reasonable the pricing was. It was very nice to not feel taken advantage of on pricing just because my husband wasnt home and I still cant believe the efficiency and quality of services they provided for such a reasonable price.That being said - Im sure pricing varies depending on the issue so dont be a Karen and flip out if you have to get your whole house re-wired and actually have to pay for the amount of work some things take. Regardless - we all know of the companies who would have taken their sweet time and charged me extra just for my obvious lack of knowledge and this was certainly not Amps MO. Cant recommend enough!!!!

A friend recommended Amp Electric and I am so grateful they did. The electrician was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and explained the problem and his recommendation for resolving it. I had a 40 breaker go out and had no air conditioning. I was very impressed with everything. I could not get any of the electrician I called to call me back. I called Amp and got sent to voice mail and hung up. Ashley immediately called me back and within 2 hours there was a service crew at my house. Art and Alvarodo did a great job and were very professional. On top of that they came in under the budget of theyre quote. I will use Amp every time I need electrical work done and refer them to my friends.

I cannot say enough about Amp Electric. One side of my house stopped working and within a couple days Shannon was on the way to check it out. He was very knowledgeable and explained things very well. Just a few short days later we were on the schedule to have the repairs done to our home. Chad and Seth arrived on time and completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time. They cleaned up sheetrock dust and wire clippings and even made sure our pups didn’t escape out the doors as they came in and out (we have a runner). Both have a great sense of humor! I have more work to be done but need to select fixtures first. As soon as I am ready I will definitely call them back to complete the work. 10 out of 10 stars from me! My power went out during the week end and I called AMP Electric. They responded to my call on the first ring and had a technician at my house within 30 minutes of the phone call. I was quite concerned with things in my refrigerators going bad but the technician, Victor Rotramel, quickly and professionally diagnosed the problem. In short order, my house was back to normal. I cant say enough good things about AMP Electric. It was my first time to use them but after their quick response and outstanding service they will now always be my go-to company for electrical service.

Couple years back they came out in the middle of a rainy night to fix and install new wiring system for an old house in Tech Terrace I was living in at the time. I remember how awesome they were to come out and fix that so I called them for new repair on a newer house we just moved in. They fixed everything up and it was reasonable cost for what they did. Chad and Jeff were awesome I would highly recommend these guys if you need something electrical done in your home.

Most repairmen encounter some type of problem when they come to fix something at my old mobile home. arthur and tim came to install a ceiling fan and had an issue with the wiring that they had to figure out. after they were done, i apologized for my old home causing a problem, and arthur said the most amazing thing to me that made my jaw drop -- he said, yeah, there was something we had to figure out but we were bigger than the problem. i rarely see that kind of positive attitude from people. i need more of it myself. it made my day to hear that and be reminded that i can be bigger than my problems. arthur and tim are really GOOD people. i was glad to have them in my home and they did a great job fixing my new fan for me. they made sure everything was clean before they left. and, they did it for an amazingly fair price. thank you!

I am happy with the service I received from Amp Electric.I had an issue with a Ring camera not getting power. I called another electrician; they said I had a problem with the switch. They fixed it, or so I thought.About a week later I opened the switch and saw that the ground and neutral had been attached. Not good. I called Amp.Amp sent Korey and Ed. They were on-time and professional. I explained the problem. They said it was caused by an open neutral. Within 30 minutes they found a loose neutral wire in one of the hallway closets and fixed it.

The two guys from AMP showed up (with masks on, due to covid) about 10min after calling me to make sure I was home. Showed them where they would be working, they asked a few questions and then got to work. They did have to go get a cord for my dishwasher, other than that, they had all the equipment needed. I did not get their names, but both were very professional and cleaned up after they where done. They made sure everything was working before payment was made. It was cheaper than the original quote that was given, so that was a great surprise. I would recommend using, because I will be using them in the future for the remodeling of my kitchen and utility room.

After speaking with three other electricians in the past three years about our main breaker switch flipping when the temps are over 100, Jeff G. was confident and knowledgeable about the best solution. Two months after replacing the main breaker (and not the entire panel box like another electrician recommended!), we are very pleased with the quality of work and dependability of our breaker box. We will be using Amp Electric again in the future.

Called and set up an appointment for a quote, they sent a gentleman named Shannon I believe. He was on time and extremely professional. Quote matched the scope of the work and the electrician Matt once again was early and worked tirelessly to complete the work on time. I was so impressed by the first job that I hired them to install a new panel and 200 amp service and Matt and crew showed up early and knocked out the job on time and on budget. I had an issue with the electrical a few days after the job was complete and even though I called and was uncharacteristically rude to the receptionists they came back out and corrected the issue at no additional cost. I strongly recommend Amp if you want timely, friendly, and hard working electricians to perform your next electrical job. I can’t say enough good about Matt and how well he represents Amp Electric and the service industry as a whole. Thanks!

The install team did an awesome job installing the system and even made repairs that I didnt realize had to be made. They kept my house from catching on fire!! Haven’t had to call an electrician in 20 years, was very nervous about honesty, charges, etc. Had a meter box short out and no power to my house; whole fam w pets. Called and spoke with Shannon, they were out within about an hour, gave me an honest estimate on good and worst case. Although they called another truck for some assistance and were here a little longer than expected, he also ran very quick errand to acquire box, kept me informed on what was going to happen, did a great job, coordinated w LP&L, cleaned up their work area, and were extremely professional, he also stuck with his lowest estimate in the good case scenario. My first experience with Amp Elect was great. I felt I was treated w honesty and charged fairly. Have no reason not to recommend them to fam and friends.

I needed outlets installed behind my wall mounted TVs. The service tech that was dispatched (Matt) was extremely courteous and helpful. Due to the limited space in our attic and the both outlets being located on exterior walls, the installation was going to be a little more than I expected. Additional equipment and parts were needed. I informed them that I wasnt sure I wanted to proceed. They called management and they did not charge me the $100.00 service fee AND they agreed to discount the installation if I decided to go forth with it in the future. I wouldnt hesitate to call them again for my residential electric needs in the future! Their customer service was top notch!

I had a grill propane take decide it was going to explode. Im an old subcontractor from Florida and the work needed for electricity would of taken about 2 weeks. These guys had be back an running in 2 days. They never dropped the ball. They took care of everything I clouding scheduling the inspections. Im very impressed. Your 3 man crew of Chad, Kelly and Kayleb were nothing but respectfull with anything. As soon as the inspector or power company was out, they showed up (if they werent already there) within 10 minutes.. Ive never seen this in Florida.. Im not asking g, its more of a demand, but once I get things back and running, they will be invited to my next smoking Bar-B-Q.. all I need to know is ribs or brisket? I have four can lights in my living room. One night all four of them went out at the same time. I tried changing the switches out but I still couldnt fix the problem. I had noticed the Amp Electric billboards around town so I decided to give them a call. They sent a tech over the same day. He was very professional and it only took him about 30 minutes to fix my problem. He climbed up in the attic and found a lose connection with the lights. I highly recommend Amp Electric and will use them for all future electrical problems.

Shannon was very professional and did an amazing job fixing our breaker box as well as upgrading our service form 100 to 200. He was quick to come out and preform the estimate and got the job done in a timely manner. He answered all of my questions and my husbands and explained the whole process to us. He even gave us tips on how we could run power to our shed eventhough doing it ouselves means he isnt getting that business. On top of the excellent service, most people are pretty adamant on my dog being put away when they are working at my house or in my yard but he was not bothered by a 70lb pit bull wanting to hang out with him the whole time.Overall I highly recommend this company. The price and service were amazing.

I feel like they have gone above and beyond to safe me a dollar when they could and everybody is very helpful and attentive.As far as the one review with the lady on the phone. I had some issues a few month ago, but as long as you give a company a chance to let them know and do something about it I dont think it is right to be negative like that on social media. They since have taken care of that issue and the rest of them are all very professional and responsive .
