    My wife and I have always been very pleased with the service provided by Cordial Electric because Luis and his crew are prompt, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.At our previous residence, Cordial replaced outdated outlets in our kitchen and living room a few years ago. They arrived quickly, did solid work, and did not try to upsell with any unnecessary services. At our current residence, they recently came to address a flickering can-light issue in our high kitchen ceiling and install a few things in other areas that had been on our wish list. Luis actually offered to have the guys come out the very same day that I called, but I had another appointment that afternoon and they arrived at our door right at 8 a.m. the next morning (I noticed them parked outside waiting patiently a few minutes prior as we finished getting ourselves ready).The flickering can-light issue at our current residence turned out to just be a bad bulb, fortunately. With that out of the way, they addressed our wish-list installations. Those included dimmer switches for the dining and kitchen pendant lights along with a porch-light timer and shower light (the shower-light installation entailed having one of the guys climb into the overhead attic space). All were handled in relatively short order and done very well. Also, they took care of running out to the nearby Home Depot store to purchase any needed items that they did not already have with them.We also mentioned to Luis that we were wondering about installing another outlet above our kitchen cabinets to plug in an LED light strip. He said it can certainly be done, but he also mentioned a lower-cost alternative. Specifically, he suggested plugging the power cord into an existing kitchen-counter outlet and having the cord run behind one of the kitchen cabinets if we would like for it to be less conspicuous. I think we very well may follow that more cost-effective suggestion the next time they come out. Luiss honesty and the excellent, friendly service his business provides are genuinely appreciated, so we enthusiastically recommend Cordial Electric.

    Twice now, I’ve used Cordial Electric and both times their service has been exceptional. The first time, two technicians came out to troubleshoot a faulty circuit. They quickly identified resolved the issue. They also ran a new circuit to our kitchen in a short amount of time.Today, we needed emergency service to resolve an issue with our septic system aerator and Luis was out at our house within the hour. I’ll always go with the local professionals - Cordial is great.

    I had a complex power issue where I was blowing power points in my house. Miguel and his crew were amazing, stayed diligent, and stuck with my power problems troubleshooting several avenues till all was back and running 100% Im very grateful to Cordial Electric and their talented hard-working staff.     I give Cordial Electric a 5 star review because they were able to resolve a problem that I had a couple other electricians “fix.” They were able to tell me what the problem was just by me describing what was going on over the phone. When they arrived to my parents house and confirmed the problem, they were able to fix it on the spot. There were 2 electricians that came and worked great as a team to fix and cleanup the work area quickly. I would definitely highly recommend Cordial electric.

    Cordial Electric did everything right! We had several projects (new light fixtures, outlets, dimmer switches and security devices) which Cordial Electric completed quickly and professionally. The owner personally came out to assess the work and prepared the proposal.On installation day, he came to the site to kick-off the work. Then again at the completion of the work to make sure all was done to our satisfaction. The site lead was personable and knowledgeable, answering all our questions, and he carefully watched the crew to ensure the work was done in a quality manner.When some of his team completed their work at another site, Cordial sent them to our site to help out. The combined team completed all our work even faster than expected, and we are very pleased with the results.It was among the best contracting experience weve had at our home. We will definitely contact Cordial Electric for future electrical installation needs.

    I had a really minor job and was hesitant to call out an electrician for something so small. Nevertheless, I had long seen the trucks for Cordial in my neighborhood (where they are based), so I figured I would give them a call. They were very responsive-- I received a call back within 15 minutes and they offered to come the same day (I was not home, so we planned for the following day). The gentlemen arrived promptly on time and reassured me that no job was too small for them. Within 30 minutes, they had the issue fixed with assurances that if the problem happened again (it has not), to give them a call and they would take another look at it. I am very happy with the service and will not hesitate to call them again!***ADDITIONAL REVIEW***I just wanted to add that I decided to call out Cordial again about two months later, this time for a much larger job (replacing an outdated and bad fuse box, some major rewiring, and bringing several things up to code). This had the potential to be a very long job during which I would not have power. However, Luis brought along a large team, they arrived right on time, and finished in just a few hours, thus minimalizing the amount of time I was without power and heat. They were VERY thorough in their job, even replacing a loose switch that they noticed during the job and raising some sagging telephone and cable lines while they were putting the main power line back up. I am very happy with all the work that they have done!

    Luis and his team were great to work with! We needed to upgrade the electric service in our older home inside and out. His estimate was very reasonable and he was knowledgeable about what needed to be done. He was able to schedule the work with quickly and they worked hard to get it all done in one day. Their work passed inspection - no problem. I wish all rehab projects went this smoothly.

    I had an outdated 60 amp Zinsco breaker panel replaced with a 100 amp Siemens panel. This involved cutting a much larger hole in the wall and shortening the conduits inside the wall so they would fit the new panel.Luis arrived on time with his crew of Miguel and Paco. Everything was done professionally and they cleaned up after finishing the project. The finished product looks great. They did a great job.

    Cordial Electric did a great job on my residence. I asked them for new outlets in my garage and asked them what they could do to hide the exposed cabling I had in my garage too. They provided recommendations on how it could be done and delivered! They also replaced a high ceiling light fixture I couldnt reach by myself. Great, clean work all around and would work with them again in the future!

    I am so happy to have found Cordial Electric! They are local family-owned company that is skilled, efficient, fair pricing and professional. I had a punch list of electrical repairs needed for my single-family residential home in Lombard, IL. A team of professionals came out same day and knocked out my entire list. (install exterior GFCI outlet for xmas lights, switch out dimmer, install LED lighting in basement and switch out several older outlet boxes.) They never tried to upsell me or pressure me into inessential work. Just came out and got the job done, no hassles! I waited several weeks before writing review to observe work completed. Everything has been working perfectly! I will definitely be a returning customer.

    Had a problem with the lights throughout the house dimming and even browning out when using small electric appliances including the microwave. Cordial Electric in Lombard received very good reviews on other social media and they are also in the neighborhood so we called.The owner called back to schedule a time to come over. Upon arrival both he along with another electrician started troubleshooting the cause for an hour plus hoping to resolve the problem. After careful investigation, they determined several repairs needed to be made requiring materials not on their truck. They scheduled to return the following morning at 8AM. All electricians were courteous, professional, respectful of property and on-time. Once all repairs were completed we confirmed that the electrical problems were resolved by using the electrical appliances. Thank you for your excellent work.

    Bought a home this year which needed some major electrical upgrades. Luis and his team were amazing to work with as a new homeowner! He came by the first time to replace the aging electrical panel and add ceiling fans to all of the bedrooms. They did the job quickly, didnt make a mess with the drywall. They also took the time to explain what was changed and which rooms went to the new breakers after the new panel went in.I contacted them a second time to add can lights to the living room and run some electric out to the garage for a heater, lights and outlets. Luis came out to the property the next day for an estimate and his team was there a few days later (by my request) for the install. Again, very professional and they got a big job done quickly.Highly recommend!

    Luis took time on original consultation to try and troubleshoot a flickering light issue. We decided to upgrade our panel and install a 40V outlet to charge our vehicle.     Cordial was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous, or cordial as the name implies! They responded very quickly to make a temporary fix on a garage rewiring problem, which incapacitated the detached garage, and did a complete rewiring with conduit the next day. A very satisfactory experience, especially because it was done so quickly and before the fall weather turned bad! Highly recommend them.
