    WOW! What great service! Called this morning at 9:00 and Blayne showed up at 11:00, right on the scheduled time! Blayne reviewed the situation with expertise and provided a thorough explanation of the proposed service. Blayne displayed care for the property, installed the components professionally. Also, informing us about some concerns with our electric panel. All the while being a very pleasant person engaging in conversation! First rate service by a first class person!     They gave it thier all! great crew, Daniel Lawrence is a good leader. We had a big job on our 78 year old home - cloth wires, reversed and ungrounded plugs. Needed 2 new panels also. crew was here to fix an emergency, then back for 2 full days to fix the rest the following week. The crew (5 folks including a very smart young lady) were all respectful, careful, hard working. They worked extra long each day. They communicated well as a team and watched over each other doublechecking each others work, which made us feel good. Daniel did the final check, and summarized the list with us at the end. They also did upgrade all of our old non working fire alarms. We are very pleased with these folks and highly recommend! They very clearly did care for our safety.

    Blayne and Taylor were fantastic. They did a panel replacement at my home and worked almost 12 straight hours to get it done. They also set up two extension cords for me while they were working so I had power to my home office all day. Blayne is very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything to me in detail. 10/10 would recommend

    Daniel Lawrence at MZ Electric is the best. He provides exceptional work and service. I purchased some light fixtures from Home Depot. When we found out that one of the light fixture parts are missing, Daniel went out of his way to modify it with an existing part. I ended up not having to waste time driving back to the store.He did an amazing job in a short time. His work exceeds my expectation and I would recommend Daniel and MZ Electric to anyone I know.

    Blayne laid out and installed a modern kitchen lighting design that’s visually pleasing, energy efficient and functional. He and his assistant Taylor also added an EV charger to the garage and ran new 220v and 110v outlets where our house was really missing them. We’re happy with the finished product and truly appreciate Blayne’s responsiveness to our needs as well as his experience and professionalism.

    Blayne and his apprentice were awesome! Originally quoted to take a day and a half, they actually were able to knock out the entire job in a day. Were very happy with our new 200a service box (with room for expansion!), and the new EVSE charger in our garage. No mess left over, no drywall to fix after they were done, and everything looks great and is good to go!

    I was referred to MZ Electric by my brother-in-law and they did not disappoint. Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy.     Adam Nelson did electrical work at our house today. He first came in first to check all the work that was needed and then repaired everything.     Great experience with MZ electric from beginning to end. I needed a dryer plug switched out and also some ceiling lights/fans installed in two bedrooms that previously had no wiring.Scheduling and communication was extremely easy and pleasant with Alexis, I had to reschedule once and she was very accommodating. Blayne and Adam showed up right when they said they would. Blayne walked me through how they would complete each job, created a quote, then got to work. A very professional experience. I am not sure if they are the cheapest, but I wouldnt hesitate to call MZ again in the future. Thanks!EDIT - Since writing the original review we used MZ Electric for a second project installing electrical in a basement we are finishing as well as an EV charger and additional garage outlets. Blayne and his crew once again did a great job and went out of their way staying later than anticipated to make sure the job was done properly and finished the same day.     MZ Electric really came through for me! I recently had Jaymie and Vanden out to replace three old light fixtures and a ceiling fan. One of the lights is in a 15 ft stairwell, and the fan is in a high, vaulted ceiling. I cringed contemplating what this would entail, but Jaymie and Vanden approached the project with the can-do attitude I love. They worked extremely well together, and I received the bonus of a great education - an experienced electrician working with a skilled apprentice. They were patient and helpful with height adjustments – it’s hard figuring out placement of new lights with such different profiles! But they had the experience with so many other installations to guide the process. They also tackled each piece of the project with focus and a great sense of humor. After all, hanging a ceiling pendant in a 15 ft stairwell requires not only a special adjustable and very tall ladder, but two professionals who communicate well and trust one another. Kudos to MZ Electric and kudos to Jaymie and Vanden – thanks for your careful, skilled and thoughtful work.

    Today, MZ Electric removed a 50 year old, Federal Pacific Breaker panel from my home. They replaced it with a new Eaton 125 amp panel. The cost was very competitive.Alvaro & Ryan were extremely professional, knowledgeable, detail oriented, and a pleasure do do business with.It was refreshing, in today’s market, to work with a Company and Technicians, who .exactly what they said they would do, when & how they said they would.They confirmed proper operation of all circuits, & left the job cleaner than when they arrived.     Daniel is terrific, very friendly, very professional and then the two apprentices or folks that have come to help him out have been very polite as well. Daniel seems to have very good knowledge of his profession. The company out of multiple bids had a very fair. If not the most favorable price point. I would recommend this company strongly.7/28/24 We as the homeowner missed a few outlets and Daniel was out to finish off the job no extra charges and the upmost professional execution. Again can not recommend Daniel and this company enough!!! If you need electrical work of any kind done, call these guys first!!!

    MZ crew was great.     During a recent summer storm we lost several outlets on two circuits in our house. We worked with MZ Electric to understand why. While figuring that out they also helped me solve a problem with my microwave and an arc fault breaker, as well as installing a ceiling fan and some drop down lights in my kitchen. The flexibility to get that all done was great, and the service superb. Thanks Trystan and Blaine!Update 6/10/2024 - after a wild rain and hail storm we lost a bunch of breakers. Daniel found that the electrical panel had leaked and soaked almost all of them, and a few failed. He helped us seal the panel back up, replaced the failed breakers, and made suggestions about next steps and improvements. Seems our builder could have done a much better job. Thanks Daniel!

    Daniel and Averro were prompt, professional and I could tell they took pride in their work. They were knowledgeable, courteous and made sure to tidy everything up after the work was completed.     Alvaro and his assistant did great work. I was a bit shocked at the price--over $1,200 to add a 20A circuit to the garage w/one outlet box, but I admittedly have not contracted with an electrician in the post-COVID era, so the price was probably a fair one for a 2-hr job. Alvaro asked all the right questions about what I wanted out of the job, where I wanted the outlets, etc. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves too. Not the cheapest, but they did outstanding work.

    Had my electrical panel replaced by MZ Electric and I cant recommend their team enough! Alexis in the office was super friendly and called me an hour before the techs arrived so I could bring my anxious dog over to my parents house.Blayne and Will were the techs and were also very friendly, professional and worked well together. Blayne walked me through the panel replacement process and asked if I had any questions. They also made sure to hook me up to an outside power source so I could keep working.     I could not be happier with MZ Electrics work. They upgraded our panel, connected all of our smoke detectors to power and a new circuit, installed a wired carbon monoxide detector, and installed 5 brand new LED wafer lights. When Sean came over to give us a quote he did a full inspection and then provided detailed explanations of every task that would be done and why it had to be done. They arrived on time, got their work done, and the whole team was so courteous throughout the day. In addition to the work we contracted them to do, they went through and made sure that all of our existing electrical was up to code. When we moved into the house we had Applewood come out to cover exposed wires in the crawl space and replace our outdoor plugs with the correct protection. We have no idea what Applewood did because none of those things were taken care of, so Sean and MZ Electric straightened that all out for us at a fraction of the price Applewood charged us. After they had left, Sean couldnt remember if they completed one final step and so he drove back to our house to double check - most companies would just say oh well and only come back out to complete the job after the inspector slaps their hand. We are so happy with MZ Electric and will definitely call them again when winter comes and we cave and install a hot tub.

    I cannot recommend MZ Electric highly enough. We had an emergency electrical issue that caused a fire at our residence, and when I called them at the close of normal business hours, the owner, Keith, sacrificed his after-work plans to come to our house immediately. He was able to implement a short-term solution for triage, and it was barely 36 hours later that Blayne and Alvaro put in a 13+ hour day on the weekend to completely redo the electrical on our house. They are an incredible combination of having the feel of a locally owned business and best-in-class expertise / execution, and Ill never go anywhere else.

    Daniel and MZ Electric team went above and beyond expectations! Our area experienced several power surges within a short time and our old box had no surge protection, causing several outlets to go out, including our fridge, which we had just restocked. We left an after-hours voicemail for MZ Electric and they contacted us upon opening at 8am that very next morning and had someone here to fix the issue by 8:30am. Because our box was so old and had other issues, we asked for a quote to upgrade the whole panel and add surge protector. Not only were they more reasonably priced than another company from whom we received a quote, but they completed ALL of the work that very same day! They checked every single outlet in our home and explained it in as much detail as I wanted, even checking in our attic. They were phenomenal and well certainly be asking them back to install some more lighting in the future.

A surprise was uncovered during installation that required additional work and cost, and Daniel completely explained what had changed, what additional equipment was required BEFORE he performed any work, so I could have pulled him off the job, but what he said made sense and I felt that MZ gave me great value for what I paid them. He was so patient and understanding: a wonderful attribute. 12/26/23.Sean, Nick and Moses did an outstanding job of upgrading several of the electric components in my house earlier this week including the Main electric Panel. They are prompt and very dependable. I would recommend them for any of your electrical needs.Excellent! Randy and Kevin removed and replaced two old florescent light fixtures and installed new L.E.D. fixtures in their place. They had to remove several translucent ceiling panels to get to the lights. While they were installing the new fixtures, I was able to clean up the panels which were dusty and stained from past leaking pipes. One was stained with a gummy substance that had leaked from the ballast of one of the old florescent fixtures. Randy was able to remove that goop with his magic eraser. Then they reinstalled the panels leaving the room bright and sparkling. They most likely prevented a fire since the remaining fixture was extremely hot. So, thanks to Randy and Kevin and MZ Electric for making Christmas 2020 safe and bright.

    Trystan and Devin showed top notch analysis skills to figure out the best approach to adding two new independent and dedicated circuits for a sump pump for my basement and a couple GFIs to a couple kitchen outlets. The installation went amazingly fast, with very excellent quality workmanship, these guys are very professional. I was also impressed by the analysis of what I might need in the future to improve my 45 year old home such as a breaker box improvement. The cost of these MZ services was very fair and competitive, and I will definitely call on MZ for electrical work I plan in the next year.

    Philip from M Z Electric arrived ahead of schedule, evaluated the job requirements and prepared an estimate.Once we agreed on work to be done Philip went to work. Shortly after beginning Tyler arrived and seamlessly installed new smoke/co 2 units and assisted in completion of the work.Philip also installed a timer for the lights that was installed , as with all their work, professionally and cleanly.Great attitudes, professional and most of all knowledgeable about their profession.     Alex and Tristan arrived on time and immediately assessed our needs while going through the house and inspecting the safety of the outlets and smoke detectors. They worked to install new under-cabinet lights and also brighter lights downstairs for my husbands hobby area. They worked through their lunch because we told them that we had to be at a medical appointment in the afternoon. They took care to put plastic sheets over my husbands hobby area and cleaned up the 2 areas when the installation was complete. MZ Electric is the only business I will contact in the future because we were treated so well and the job was done in such an excellent manner.

    This conpany definitely impressed me. Daniel and JD are an amazing team. I hired them to install a chandelier on 20ft ceilings, switch out a light fixture and install a ceiling fan. They executed at a high level and got all the jobs done very quickly. I had trouble finding a licensed company to install a chandelier that high up and these guys banged it out no problem. They are professional, they cleaned up when they left and even wore those shoe covers to protect my floor. You get text and email reminders from the company before and after the visit, they send you a full breakdown of services in the receipt and their prices were lower than any competition I got quotes from. Im completely satisfied and will continue to use them for any future jobs.

    Sean and Britton(?) did a great job! We walked the house as I pointed out the different projects we were interested in having performed. They installed under cabinet lighting in three areas of our home, installed outside decorative lights on either side of the garage door and a porch light, installed a whole house surge protector and checked out our ceiling fans.     There was a cancellation, and I received a call asking if I could take the new appointment. Upon arrival, the techs shook my hand and put on shoe covers. Jessie and one other tech accompanied Alex. I showed them what needed to be done, and they assessed the work and gave me a reasonable rate. They started immediately; I think they only took two hours to assemble and install both fixtures. They did an outstanding job, noticed that I had a child, and gave me some pointers on outlets. They cleaned up after the job as well. I will recommend to my community.

    I hired MZ Electric to install the 220V adapter for my Electric Vehicle (EV) charger.     These guys are amazing! I used them twice in a week at two different properties. I called them in a pinch same day to remove a hot tub panel that wasn’t up to code prior to the hot tub removal in 4 hours. They had a guy out within the hour, job completed in less than an hour, safe shut off and removal was established. Because I was a member, cost was reasonable and fair for the job.     I had been talking to electricians for months about replacing my electrical panel. Jesse was the best electrician I have met in the Lakewood area. He was able to replace my electrical panel, label the breakers, install new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and GFI plugs throughout my home at a price lower than most places charged for the electrical panel alone.     Amazing experience for beginning to end! When Keith came to the house to work in the quote, he was incredibly helpful. After that initial meeting, we needed to add a few things to the job, he had no problem making those additions via email and was very quick to reply.     MZ was awesome! Needed EV charger in garage which required bringing a 50yr old service panel up to modern standards and grounding. Came for the estimate, explained everything, clear and specific paperwork. When the crew came to do the work they were polite, friendly, professional. Listening in, Supervisor Shawn sounded like a great master, trainer, and coach for a newer tech and journeyman, positive and encouraging, explaining code, process, reasons for selecting various materials or doing things a certain way, let his crew know he had full confidence in them. They found and replaced some janky amateur stuff they ran into without upcharges, explained issues, non judgemental. Price never flexed and they even looked for ways to consolidate costs. Best professional company I have worked with in a long time.
