We hired Spaulding Electric to install several new light fixtures, 2 fans, and troubleshoot the door bell. Joe and Grant came to perform the work and did an excellent job. They were both very professional and friendly. They installed the fixtures and fans and went over the use of the fan controls to make sure we understood how they worked. They quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue with the door bell. Overall we could not have been happier with the service that Joe and Grant provided.We highly recommend Spaulding Electric, everyone we have spoken with regarding the scheduling and performance of the work has been very professional and courteous. We will definitely call Spaulding Electric next time we need any electrical work performed.We called Spaulding Electric again to have an old hot tub disconnected so we could have it removed.Grant returned as the electrician to perform the work. We just needed our electrical line reattached to the side of our house where it had come loose, so our experience here is limited, but we will definitely approach Spaulding Electric again for some future electrical projects. Communication was extremely easy and transparent through the entirety of my initial inquiry to the projects completion; this is a rare find when electricians are lately so overbooked due to shortages.The rate was also very fair and I was able to wait to pay until the work was done. Not that theres anything wrong with making a deposit (especially for large jobs), but I recommend going with these folks over another local service that insists on collecting your credit card information through a shady third party website. Id rather not have my financial info kept on file anywhere so I appreciate Spauldings simpler, old-fashioned method even as their actual website and competencies are very modern.

Overall a great experience from booking the appointment, to the communications, and up to the time of arrival. The team were great guys and knew their stuff. They were courteous and got the job done thoroughly. My one item of feedback was for Spaulding to be clearer on the grade of equipment being installed. My job was for a surge protector. Partly my fault, as I asked for a quote to protect my house against power surges without being specific. Typically, this is all good, and in most cases just trust the electrician. The concern is that the item was a very basic protector, least expensive, with a very low surge rating. Am sure it will be fine, but it would have been nice to offer the different levels of protections along with the quote to make sure the house was adequately protected. Again, overall, all food, I would hire these folks again for sure and you should to!

Based on my experience, Spaulding Electric in now my go to for any future electrician projects. Our experience with Spaulding Electric was great!! We had a few security camera/flood lights installed. Spaulding had a service person come a few weeks ahead to actually look at the job and give us an accurate quote as well as really listen to what our needs were. The guys showed up on time and the job was done exactly as we had discussed. The service people actually vacuumed the dust from the drill holes and cleaned the area where they had been working. The service people accompanied us outside and showed us their work, making sure that the product website connected to the lights they had just installed, to be sure there would be no problems when they left. We were very satisfied and would use Spaulding Electric again.UPDATE: We have used Spaulding Electric again and once again the service, the quality of the work and the value were excellent.

First class operation from beginning to end! Office personnel were there to answer my calls (not voicemail or answering service) and were very helpful. Jesse the owner showed up promptly to review my list of needed items. He was very patient with all my questions and we came up with a game plan. The electricians were on time and very good at explaining all that they were doing. I had a generator hook up installed including a 10 circuit transfer switch panel and outside plug, moved some light switches, installed a new doorbell transformer, fixed a 3 way dimmer switch, installed a remote switch, and installed new outlets in my basement. All the work was top quality and done on time. I would highly recommend Spaulding Electric! For reference, Im an Engineer and a perfectionist.

I had to replace a 240v outlet with two 120v outlets for a new washer and dryer that were being installed. The technicians from Spaulding showed up right on time, were friendly and professional, and made sure I knew everything that they were doing and why it had to be done. Namely, some of the relevant wiring had to be brought up to code, which was explained before they started.All in all, they did excellent work and were in and out fairly quickly. Definitely recommended to anyone looking to get electrical work done!

They installed an electrical panel interlock for a backup power generator and did it very quickly. The modifications they did to the house to facilitate the installation were clean and very professional. He also explained everything that they were going to do then walked me through how to utilize the enhancements to my panel, afterwards instructing me how to utilize the new generator and proper safety procedures. We recently hired Spaulding Electric to do extensive work on a 2200sq ft residential addition in Acton. The scope of the work required the installation of a new Electrical panel, installing 100 ft of underground conduit and wiring for six rooms two baths and a three car garage. When I met with Jesse the owner I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. As we walked through the job site Jesse knew all the right questions to ask which made my job of explaining my needs a lot easier. We covered every detail of the electrical requirements for this project in one meeting and Jesse and his crew followed through with great attention to detail throughout the entire install. I have worked with Spaulding Electric 3 times so far and I highly recommend their work. My introduction to them was when they were engaged to install bathroom fans as part of a larger construction project at my home. The fans ordered by the other firm were not of the correct size so Jesse Spaulding, the owner of Spaulding Electric, had one of his team drive off to purchase a better sized fan for us and they completed the work with high quality. My second experience with them was when Mitchell (who also performed a lot of the work on the first job) rehung all of the wiring in our attic for us, and this was also done well. My third experience with them was when Mitchell and Grant came over to replace two existing ceiling lights with chandeliers and to re-affix one existing chandelier to the ceiling, which had been installed by someone else. During this process, they uncovered and addressed unexpected issues with the wiring, and with the unsafe installation of the original light by the homebuilder years ago. They also addressed some concerns we had with our kitchen outlets. All in all, after 3 separate projects, I am very pleased with Jesses willingness to help us solve our electrical problems, with Mitchells work on all 3 projects, and with Grants work on the most recent project. They showed up on time, and did a thorough job.

On time for appointment, worked efficiently while explaining what needed to be done and how they were going to do it. The work required disconnecting the dishwasher from an existing circuit and installing a new, dedicated circuit with plug and cord rather than hardwire. Excellent clean up and restoration of shelves and cabinet contents. They also provided a what happens next guide because the permitted work requires inspection afterwards.

We called Spaulding Electric when our neighbors tree fell in a snowstorm, taking down the power lines and causing a major power surge throughout our home. Outlets were popping and smoking. Lights were smoking and melting. Our furnace and appliances were fried. It was a Sunday emergency call, and Jesse responded right away. He and his apprentice, Brandon, arrived within the hour. Jesse also had his HVAC specialist (TAG Heating & Cooling) meet him at our house with any parts needed to fix our older furnace in order to give us heat. Jesse and Brandon checked and replaced circuits & outlets, checked appliances & electronics, and replaced lights. TAG was successful in getting our older furnace up and running. Jesse was very informative and professional. I highly recommend Spaulding Electric.

Contacted Spaulding Electric to remove a bathroom ceiling light fixture and replace it with a combination ceiling light / exhaust fan and replace the single light switch to a dual switch to independently operate the light and/or fan. The 2 electricians arrived on-time and were courteous, professional, and clean. Reasonable price. Will use them for future electrical needs.Groton, MA

Spaulding helped me with a downstairs remodel turning the basement into a living space.
