My sink wouldnt shut off on a sunday evening. Every place wanted to charge me a super expensive after hour charge. Rescue 1 construction was able to talk me through how to turn off the water on the phone so I could schedule a non emergency appointment for a later date. Amazing customer service. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Mike and Rescue 1 construction!! I found them through Thumbtack and Mikes office manager was very prompt getting back to me and she was very sweet! Mike was able to be at my house with in a couple days. Once he saw my project he had a handful of ideas and was very knowledgeable on what would work. I received a drawing of the project quickly. The communication with mike was super easy and he was very quick to respond. I felt at ease knowing that the job would be done quickly and I knew he would show up.. I was never left wondering! Great company. I truly recommend Rescue 1! Mike really cares about his customers and employees.

After tirelessly trying to find someone that I could trust to repair a finished basement which had been damaged by water.......I finally found Rescue 1. Mike the owner, listened to our needs was able to offer his expertise and knowledge. He did everything he said he was going to do. He made sure I was happy and if I wasnt he would make it right. His team did an outstanding job. I love it! Mike, thanks so much for everything. You and your team worked so hard and were so kind and caring. Would definitely recommend and would also hire again.

I contacted Rescue 1 to get an estimate on some interior and exterior repairs. We talked about many projects. Mike showed a broad range of experience. The intial quote was more than I was ready to do, so Mike worked with me to reduce the amount of services and find which fixes were the most important and would fit in my budget. Mike and his office manager were very responsive and clear in their communication. On the day of the repairs, the repair man did excellent work and communicated well with us to insure our satisfaction. The repairs were done well using excellent materials and good-quality painting. I would happily recommend Rescue 1 to my friends.

My experiences with Rescue 1 Construction were beyond my expectations. From 1st contact with the owner, throughout the bid process to completion I felt like they understood exactly what I was requesting and quickly gave me a bid and project date in a very professional manner. The bid, materials and terms were very clear and and went very smoothly. The technician was ultra professional and polite and truly gave my staircase a custom rebuild, going above and beyond in every way. My project was relatively small, but was treated as it was most important. I would recommend Rescue 1 Construction to all of my friends and family.

My experience with Rescue 1 Construction has been very positive. I have now worked with them several times, and they have been awesome in coming in to get the work done. They fit me into their schedule in spite of being very busy because I was in such a desperate position with my house remodel. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done in their home. They have vast experience and knowledge in several areas and are very capable in finishing any and all projects needed. Mike Kemp is a great guy- he truly cares about people and wants to help. We have a large renovation project going on and have interviewed multiple contractors. Some of them I could tell within minutes that they were not a good fit for the job, some didnt even bother to show up. Mike came out when he said he would be there, had his guys at the house when he said he would (weather permitting) and they got stuff done! He wasnt the first available, but the good ones are worth the wait! I highly recommend Rescue 1 Construction!

I was swindled by a construction scammer in the spring of 2020. But I was bound and determined to get my deck replaced by July 4. I contacted 4 more companies and chose Rescue 1 Construction, Mike and his guys did a great job for a great price. He was my last bid I reviewed, I accepted his bid on a Monday, the old deck was out by Tuesday and the new deck in by Sunday 6/28/20. Because of the swindler I had a limited budget and Mike Kemp was great to work with.

Mike (the Owner) is completely on the ball and committed to customer service. I submitted a request for service on Thumbtack and Mike was the only service provider to respond. He even responded at 10pm at night since my service need was urgent. Steve (the Carpenter) was very friendly and knowledgeable! If you need a home repair, you cant go wrong with Rescue 1 Construction!

Needed my roof replaced and a couple windows upgraded. The whole process was painless. They worked with my schedule and the work was amazing. Everything from showing up for the estimate and the process of scheduling and selecting materials to ensure the colors were correct. Highly recommend for any project, and will be using them again in the future for some other work.

The job is not fully done yet, but in the process... There is a large leak in the foundation underneath some of the dry wall in our basement. When I called and let Rescue 1 know that, Mike got his guys here same day to pull out the dry wall, wet wood and insulation so we could get to the leak. The men who came out were prompt (came within the hour) and so friendly! They even ripped out the wet molded carpet that was an issue and cleaned up really well afterwards. SO far 5/5!

We couldnt be happier with our door install. The craftsmanship of our carpenter, Jason, is second to none. He was on time and courteous through the whole process. I had planned on installing the door myself but after seeing how complex a door installation can be Im happy we chose the best!

Our basement flooded after a storm fried our sump pump - 4 inches of standing water! I put in a request for help at Rescue 1 at 8:30am on the 4th of July holiday and got a call at 8:35. Mike FaceTimed with us to troubleshoot, after which he came to our home when the rest of his team was out of town for the holiday, replaced the sump pump and made a plan for the following day to dry out the area. Did I mention this was all on the 4th of July holiday?! We have been beyond impressed with the responsiveness, professionalism and kindness of Mike and will call him for future plumbing needs without hesitation!

Mike and team have helped us as new investors tackling our first full interior renovation. He has done such a great job guiding us and giving recommendations, but has also been open and patient with our last minute changes. It has been so nice knowing that everything is being handled and the project will be completed ahead of schedule and above our expectations. We plan to use him for future renovations and I would highly recommend them for any job, big or small!

We had a major remodel done by Rescue 1. We had the wall removed between the kitchen and living room. They replaced the ceiling, walls, flooring, cabinets, plumbing, and electrical. While they were doing the demo, they discovered we had a bad carpenter ant infestation. If they wouldn’t have been doing such a thorough job, I hate to think of how long it would have taken us to discover the damage. If you are looking for quality work, I would recommend them to anyone planning a major remodel project. They will not cut corners nor use sub-standard materials. They made my dream kitchen a reality.
