I have used Excalibur to install my water softeners in my last two homes. They are professional, reasonably priced, and their workmanship quality is very good.Sept 13-2024Had Excaliber reinstall 3 toilets, kitchen faucet, fix seals under a sink, etc.. Richard and the other tech (?) did a great job as they have done on other jobs for me.

I came home to find my hot water heater leaking slowly in the garage. A friend recommended Excalibur, so I phoned them on Saturday for an appointment Monday morning between 8-11 am. Curtis phoned around 8 am to let me know he would arrive in 30 minutes.Upon arrival, Curtis discussed with me how the new install would go and Code upgrades that needed to be made. I left him alone and checked in periodically. In 3-4 hours, the new hot water heater was installed. Curtis showed me how to light the gas pilot light in case it ever went out and explained sediment may be in lines, so check faucet aerators.That evening, we had wonderful, hot water again. While it wasn’t cheap, you often get what you pay for. Excalibur arrived on time, did a nice job, and communicated. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent service. Quick diagnosis. Called at midnight when my water heater turned into a waterfall and actually got a human to answer!! Got on the schedule for the next day. Curtis was great. Explained the issue simply and got right to work. Gave me a 1/2 off labor discount!! New fittings, new valve, pan!! Never been this excited for a new water heater before.

I would highly recommend.We had another great experience with the service provided by Excalibur yesterday, 01/07/25. They were prompt in responding to our needs since our 2 tanks of water heater started to leak. Bob, was able to send 2 technicians. (Patrick and Jose who were very nice and efficient) in a couple of hours to replace it. So happy and thankful that it didn’t do any damage to our home because Excalibur was able to assist us with this incident, won’t hesitate to recommend and will continue to use them

My water heater is 15 years old and was full of calcium buildup. I tried to just replace the heating elements but when I opened it up I realized it was too far gone and time for a new one.I called and asked if they could squeeze the job in the same day.My water heater couldn’t be put back together so I was gong to only have cold until I got a new one so I was in a bind.They checked their schedule and determined they could schedule me for the same day.I got a bid over the phone with a fair price.Two hours later their service techs showed up and had the new one in and heating water in about an hour.100% satisfaction. Thank you!

Very positive experience. Contacted Excalibur and was able to have a tech sent the very next day (this wasnt an emergency). Curtis was professional and was able to fix the issue I had with a garbage disposal within minutes. It works correctly now, and he gave me a couple useful tips to keep it running smoothly. We recently experienced our third service call with Excalibur Plumbing. Each time we have received same day service and have been very pleased. Last week we needed a new hot water heater and I called four other plumbers for estimates. Excalibur had the best deal and a new heater was installed that afternoon along with completing another minor plumbing problem with a commode. We will continue to use them for our plumbing needs.

We had originally called Excalibur to have the two faucets replaced in the Primary bath, but soon realized there was something else wrong. Curtis discovered the builder had installed two P-traps upside down (!) in the wall behind our primary bath. Curtis saw the problem and immediately went to work on solving the issue to address the two upside down P-Traps. (There was no mold, thank goodness!) He suggested that he could get to the incorrectly installed pipe to fix it by cutting out some drywall (not the back of the cabinet!) in the Living Room, which Curtis did quickly and with almost no dust! Curtis replaced both P-traps and ensured all the pipes inside the wall were right and tight. There was no mold and no leaks! Curtis was neat, careful, and cleaned up the work area, all the while explaining each step needed. Then he installed the new faucets for us. Curtis did a great job for us and was so helpful. We would use him and Excalibur Plumbing again for any plumbing job. We recommend both highly.

He explained everything ... starting with the least expensive simple option, then if the repair would be more detailed he also discussed that. Lucky for us the least expensive was able to be done (4 faucets needed to be replaced). Curtis did an excellent job. Friendly, knowledgeable, careful, respectful of our cat too. Quality service. Ive also Dealt with Christianson Plumbing a number of times.Excalibur actually did a little better work (added bonus), like above and beyond, compared to Christianson Plumbing. Im a Tech also, so I appreciated his quality of work.Also needed a part warranty a couple years down the road on a temp control, Excalibur made it happen very quickly, and I was back in business.

I explained I had a zoom call soon and we made a plan for how to approach the repairs. Eddie visited our house the very day we called about our water heater. He came out, inspected the very tough location where the water heater is located and delivered an estimate with 3 options on the spot.We decided which direction to go and let Eddie know at which time he promptly scheduled our installation.On the day of install he arrived when he said he would, put down every type of floor protection you can imagine and proceeded the very difficult task of manipulating a 50 gallon water heater out of a small closet 10 feet up in the air. He worked with his partner to remove the old one, replumbed and installed the new one, again in a very tight space.Eddie ran all new venting to the outside, added electronic monitoring, and crawled under the house several times to make certain the drains were all functioning properly. We could not ask for better service and the attention to detail was amazing. This is our second experience with Excalibur Plumbing and they have both been wonderful experiences. Great customer service!!!!

I had called 15+ companies around Leander, Cedar Park, and Austin to ask for just the labor cost to replace & install a tankless water heater. Every other place either didnt say a price to have a plumber come in for a diagnosis fee or their price was outrageous $1000+. In fact, my previous plumber was looking to do it for $1900, which was ridiculous. I had to call the warranty company if they can reimburse for more of the labor but they set a hard limit of $900. I had lost hope finding a reasonably priced plumber near my area, but thankfully after calling here and explaining my situation, they offered to do the work for $699. I promptly took the offer. They came in a timely manner and did the required work with no problems. I would HIGHLY recommend checking prices with them as they seem to be the only reasonably minded plumbers in the area.

We are in a fairly new home, but we discovered that we needed a plumber! Our hot water heater was just not doing its job as well as it was.We needed a flush! We got one from Excalibur Plumbing, and had a chance to chat about some other things plumbing-related in our house. He gave us a very reasonable quote for replacement toilets and advice about keeping our A/C drain line clear. (Who knew the A/C drain was connected to the master bath sinks? He did, and told us.) We didnt know that, so Excalibur saved us from potential bathroom (and master bedroom) flooding by advising me to ensure the sinks were draining properly.The owner was extremely knowledgeable about all the topics that I asked about, gave us great advice, and flushed our water heater too. I was very comfortable with him in our house. He was neat and clean, and just plain nice.We will use Excalibur for all our plumbing needs from now on. At 8:30 AM they called to see if I was available. Since I had an appointment at 10 I told them that I would be home for about 45 minutes. Jeff arrived at my door 20 minutes later. He assess the problem and gave me an estimate. The total charge was well within the estimate and the repair was completed before I returned from my appointment. Water was leaking from the meter box. The MUD people claimed it belongs to the house, and would not fix it. I called over 12 plumbers, most of them would not quote on phone, and/or want to charge a service fee to come out and quote. Bob at Excalibur plumbing was able to give a reasonable verbal quote, and was able to send Riley out for a free estimate the same afternoon. Riley was very professional, he spent about half hour disassemble the shut off value, and he wanted to give me a solution without having to replace the whole shut off value. He replaced the shut off valve and he only charged us half the price that other plumbers had quoted. I think this company is very honest and professional. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs. I will definitely use them in the future.

I highly recommend Excalibur Plumbing, especially Jason. Overall I have found Excalibur to be very reliable, responsive and efficient in scheduling, and flexible when changes are required. Specifically, Jason has helped us to identify and solve multiple issues related to hard-water damage in our home. He has helped us install a whole-home water filter and softener, flush hard water gunk from our lines, install a new tankless water heather, and restore many of our damaged fixtures to working order. Along the way, Jason explained every step thoroughly and always provided an accurate cost estimate of the work. All of this work took multiple visits over a few months and some trial and error, but each time he leaves our home, Jason promises to be back and to be with us until all issues are resolved. This is my 3rd time to use Excalibur plumbing over the past 2 years. Im absolutely sold that this is the only plumbing company I want in my house.I travel quite a bit for business and was on the road out of state when my wife called to let me know that the pressure on our hot water was weak throughout the house and that morning showers had to be a little quicker than usual unless you wanted it cold.I called Excalibur Plumbing and asked them to check it out for me. I was worried I may have a sediment issue throughout my pipes as the house is 13 years old.Excalibur came by the house and diagnosed the issue, complete with picture-based documentation they were able to email me. They also removed as much of what was clogging my old water heater as possible with a flush combined with a hammer and chisel to get us through the weekend.Excalibur contacted me with the details and my options. I opted for a new high efficiency water heater with a rapid recharge as we had suffered with the builder grade model for too long.The next morning Excalibur installed a new top of the line Rheem water heater and verified functionality without any problems.Im happy to report that not only do we have what seems like unlimited hot water now, but we also have higher water pressure than weve ever had in this house. Feels like they installed a booster pump although they assured me they didnt. Really happy with this.Excalibur properly diagnosed and documented what was going on, set expectations around resolution and cost, then met or exceeded all expectations. Got Excalibur to come out and flush my water heater. Which they did for free when they found I had installed with them 3 yrs ago. Eddie checked water pressure and found very low to spec and changed out PRV same day. Added bonus was my sprinkler heads which were not popping up are working perfectly now. He took the time to explain the type of plumbing we have and how that could affect future repairs if they become necessary. I called around to get some estimates for replacing a water heater, and these guys, by far, were less expensive and very direct about the pricing, service, warranty, and knowledgeable on symptoms of the problem I was experiencing.Not only did I receive some education on how everything works, but also on preventative maintenance to ensure the WH lasts as long as possible. A key thing for me is they are physically based out of the same city I live in and were actually able to come out the same day for the replacement unit.It was two guys and they were in and out in roughly 1.5hrs and most others would likely have taken about 4 or 5 hrs to justify their costs. I saved, at least $350 to $600 in comparison to other estimates.These are definitely my go-to plumbers moving forward.

Gas control valve was sent in and not the burner assembly. Corey replaced the valve but it still didn’t work because the issue was in burner assembly...on calling manufacturer, they asked me to replace the unit since it was under warranty. Corey came in again and picked the new water heater from distributor, replaced with old one and everything was fine..It’s important to note that Excalibur removed the labor cost for gas control valve replacement from the unit replacement cost. I called Excalibur to install a water softener bypass. Louis and Richard arrived and provided a very reasonable estimate. I hadnt called them to actually install the water softener (I bought one myself) but Louis gave me an estimate for that as well. They had to go to a job down south that was going to take most of the day and they didnt have the parts they needed on the truck. I wasnt disappointed because I knew what I was asking wasnt a typical request (I was very specific what I wanted done). I was only going to have them install the bypass. However, Louis contacted me shortly after leaving that the other job had cancelled for the day. So I took him up on the full softener installation. I am so glad I did. They were done in a quarter of the time it would have taken me. Additionally, they had the parts and skills to do it right. Louis even called the manufacturer to double check the startup procedure (I had ordered an unorthodox setup) and correctly programmed it for me. Based on this experience, I wouldnt hesitate to call them again.

Jason from Excalibur was a life saver over the holidays. He not only knew what was going on immediately with our faulty grinder pump for 3 years, he also provided the solution the same day with help from Noe. Both were amazing and professional. Jasons explanation of the problem made sense. It seems that the wrong pump for the area was installed by a different company. Thanks to Jason, the service from Excalibur was same day, punctual, and we were able to use our home again with a new grinder pump. Thank you Excalibur! You far exceeded my expectations.

I called many places all over the Austin area to get a quote on having my water heater replaced. I spoke with both Bob and Richard at Excalibur. They were able to quote over the phone after I gave them information on what I currently had at my home and what I was looking to replace with. They were friendly, helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. They were extremely compeitive on pricing using a flat fee system. I was so impressed I opted to go for the additional warranty that they offer.I was able to book for Friday service on a Tuesday and they showed up on time first thing Friday morning, were very professional and did an outstanding job installing the new water heater.Bob also called after my installation to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I am very pleased with my service and will use them in the future!

We had a hot water heater and low pressure problem in our home. Excalibur sent out Blake and Richard who were very professional/knowledgeable and found the problem right away. I said they made my teenage daughter happy. No more lukewarm showers!I highly recommend Excalibur Plumbing. 5 STARS!
