I discovered last night at 9PM that my hot water heater was not working. I knew that Space City Plumbing was highly rated so I decided to give them a call. At 9PM, Micha answered the phone and said he could have a crew at my house the next morning around 10AM. Mario and Koby arrived on time and after investigating the problem, determined that the 18 year old water heater needed to be replaced.They gave me a price to replace the hot water heater and all the associated plumbing lines and also the overflow tray under the hot water heater. They also advised that they had a new water heater in their truck that was the same specifications as my old heater. Their price was fair and they began the job of removing the old hot water heater and replacing with a new water heater.Mario and Koby were professional and made sure that they fully explained what was going to be done and proceeded to get the job done in about 3 hours. They cleaned up everything and hauled off the old water heater. I highly recommend Space City Plumbing and also recommend that you ask for Mario and Koby when needing plumbing work done on your home.

Called Space City Plumbing for an emergency repair to the water line entering the house. They were able to get a plumber out to fix the issue within a couple hours. Isaiah looked at the problem and suggested two fixes. Took the one to replace the pvc pipe coming through the wall with copper. He had the problem repaired, insulated the water pipe and cleaned up the mess. Thanks Space City Plumbing

After noticing water spots in the back bedroom and laminate peeling in the hallway, I filled out an online form that night with Space City Plumbing. Jesse arrived at 8:30 the next morning and was able to assess that a pipe had burst in the attic and recommended repairs going forward. Our home was still plumbed with galvanized pipe and our water heater was installed in 1999. My husband and I decided to get the whole house repiped. Jesse and his crew spent 3 full days replumbing all pipes and installing a new water heater. They were considerate in where and when they reinstalled pipes so that we had one bathroom operating at all times (i.e. no hotel). Jesse, Victor and Colin were always working, everytime I walked in the house. They were extremely polite and accomodating. I couldnt recommend this company more highly.

A few minutes later, I noticed that there was already a growing puddle of water on the floor around the dehumidifier. I was really worried but I called Isaiah back and told him what was going on. He volunteered to come back and take care of the issue even though this was not his responsibility, and they were already on the way home. I was amazed by his kindness and generous spirit. We had a leak in our main water line on the day we had family visiting from out of state (of course), and we needed our water back on FAST. The day of the leak, I had called two other companies that were charging way above what several of our neighbors had paid for similar repairs. The next morning, I was ready to head to Lowes to try to repair it myself before I decided to call one last plumber (SCP). They sent out Isaiah to do the repair that afternoon. He was a real friendly guy who knew his stuff. Within a couple of hours, he had the water running again. He even had time to make a scheduled appointment with his barber. 5 stars all around. I would recommend Space City Plumbing to everyone who needs quality plumbing work done. They stand behind their work. We had an outside faucet replaced in November last year just before the hard freeze set in. It necessitated access from inside the house. The job was done and we immediately insulated the faucet all winter. When we undid the insulation a week ago to attach the hose, we discovered the faucet was leaking. Even though their standard warranty period was over they honored their work and took care of the problem without charging extra. Their crew of Isaiah and Kobi, were thorough and professional. I have nothing but praise for Space City Plumbing.

I felt like the price might be a tad high but I didnt get a second opinion and have no basis for that comparison. That being said, the quality of the work that was done was great. At one point Micah let me know that he had replaced the parts that needed replacing, but he was seeing a very slight leak that I would probably never notice. Instead of closing everything back up and pretending it wasnt there, he spent more time out of his day to drive to get a replacement part, and even more time to tear the first replacement out and install the new one. To me, that says a lot about the quality of the work that these folks do. They were polite, respectful of my home, and left their work area clean. Hopefully I have no more plumbing issues in the near future, but if I do, I will certainly give Space City a call. These guys are doing it right.

I had a slow leak at a T-joint in my PEX piping in the attic. I called this company because they were highly recommended on Next Door.They were able to come out within a couple of hours, were very professional, advised me that in addition to this small leak , that the re-pipe job was not actually done properly and could/is probably causing problems with my air flow as the pipes were dropped across the ducts throughout the attic. I had wondered about that before, but I really didnt know if it was a problem or not. I wasnt surprised to learn it was, as the previous owners who had the re-pipe done, did everything on a shoestring. Im not able to have that part of the job done right now, but will definitely call Space City Plumbing when I am able and for all my future plumbing needs. I didnt get the second mans name, but Mike seemed to be the lead and was pleasant, respectful and professional. Highly recommended.

I have had an ongoing problem with clogged drains. Two other well known local plumbers have charged me over $1000.00 to come and snake my drains over the past 9 months. Micah sent Jessee who is a great plumber, he wouldnt give up until he found the main clean out, which was hidden, then he solved the problem. It was not a big deal but where they tied in my pool, roots from bushes infiltrated the pipe through the rubber boot. This caused Russian roulette with the toilet. Jessie found it and properly cleaned the roots out. Now we can flush without anxiety. Also, they are one of the few local companies that offer emergency after hours service at a reasonable price. Other companies that offer emergency services will not give you an estimate for the cost, they say “we will tell you when we grt there”. When my 94 year old mother’s main drain clogged, Space City Plumber’s owner Micah quoted me a reasonable price for unclogging our main drain at 9 pm Sunday. These are my go to plumbers from now on.

One thing am not happy with is they told me it would cost 5% more when I went to pay to use a charge card. That was not told to me upfront. I am going to call my bank this morning to find out if this is legal. Will follow up. Mike was very nice and did a very nice clean up job. The other men did not clean up well, left lot of messes when I came home from work one day. clothes in hamper were covered with insulation from attic, could have been moved out of way with a plunger.Spoke to owner, he stated it was only 4% for credit card because his cost is 8% to take credit cards. What I learned is ask upfront.Overall, they did a good plumbing job. Mike the young man who appeared in charge was a very very nice young man. He was upfront about the process and he did clean up really well at the end of the job. He was sweeping and I gave him a vacuum and he did a great job. He took out all the bags of trash from the room that was affected.
