Driven Power Systems sent out Josh, who is amazing! He moved into estimating after being a service tech, so in less that one hour he was able to, not only identify but, also take the time right then to fix the issues with 3 of my light switches and install the light fixture on my patio (which 3 people tried and failed to install properly) and get the connection solid so it no longer worked sporadically. I was quoted $1400 to fix these issues by another company but instead I only paid for a simple service call fee thanks to Josh and Driven Power Systems addressing the issues right away during what was to be a simple an estimation! Thanks for the awesome service!

I just had a kitchen reno done and noticed the outlet to the dishwasher did not look like it was up to code and did not feel comfortable plugging our brand new dishwasher in to it so I reached out to James and Tiffany and asked them to come take a look as the contractor told us it was perfectly fine to use. He confirmed my suspicions of it not being up to code and immediately got me on the books to be repaired. Their two man crew showed up on time and were very courteous and explained everything they were going to do. They also fixed a plug outlet that was burnt and moved our oven outlet for us. Very clean work. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done.

We were at the end of a 7 month renovation of my 90yr old moms condo due to an upstairs unit flood and discovered a major electrical issue. The electrician that came recommended arrived and said that the brand new plaster and walls would need to be cut through and cut out, kitchen cabinets removed and he even went as far as to remove the cover of the breaker panel taking the new paint with it. He then submitted his estimate for $2800. My mom almost fainted. I came across Driven Power Systems and booked an appointment for an estimate. Joshua and Eric arrived promptly, they had all the tools and electrical pieces necessary and they said that they could remedy the issues that day without all the cutting and removing of walls and cabinets. Within a few hours the place was done, only 1 small 5x5 hole was cut in to the drywall behind the microwave. These 2 worked diligently, professionally, quietly and made this a stress free experience. They double and triple checked everything before cleaning up after themselves and leaving. The price - 1/4 of the first guys estimate. I truly cant say enough about these 2 and the company. Even my mom was impressed! I have already recommended Driven Power Systems to neighbors, family and friends. And now I recommend them to you.Thank you Joshua, Eric and Driven Power Systems. What a great company to deal with in getting power to and on our dock. James (owner) always responsive to my MANY questions with great guidance on everything from fixtures (what kind and where to buy) to planning for future options throughout the property. The on-site dock specialist team, Braeden and Caden, were extremely communicative about every step and made sure it happened just as we agreed or better. We started with one plan but as we got into it they identified and easier/less costly way to handle and ensured it worked seamlessly. The install happened in less time than we planned and they spent the effort to make sure that everything looked aesthetically great rather than just a bunch of conduit and boxes randomly thrown wherever was most convenient for them. Very clear the entire team puts in the extra effort for customers.

I recently had to call Driven Power Systems to repair a fan outlet that I short circuited trying to repair it myself. I managed to knock out power to portion of my house and had out of town guest coming to visit on same day. I called DPS and explained my urgent issue. Danny and Steven immediately came out and were able to repair my outlet and get the power restored. They also made sure to check and make safe another outlet as well. They were both very friendly and professional. I truly appreciated their knowledge and ability to respond and get the job done at a fair price. I highly recommend DPS for all your electrical needs.

James at Driven Power Systems was recommended when I needed an electrician, and he did not disappoint! To make a long story short my house was flipped before I bought it and whoever did the work did a sketchy job of it, causing random power outages through about half my house. James came out, pinpointed the issue, fixed it, and then proceeded to fix two other light fixtures that were not hooked up correctly. All of this was finished in one hour and I could not be happier! Efficient and affordable, Id recommend Power Driven to everyone!

Clinton was thorough, and he made everything from the job (wiring up a chandelier, a pendant light sequence, and a new switch panel from nothing) look as if it were in the house to begin with. From the estimate to the install and training, these guys were by far the most professional and the most helpful. Instead of pushing an overpriced system, James worked with me to figure out the best way to power what needed power in a safe and economical manner. His team - Steven and Danny - were great and took extra time to set up the circuits to be powered properly after Bolt Electric had done a horrible job with the wiring cabinet. And even spent time showing me how to work the system and let me practice! Call these guys and get set for hurricane season now, not when it is too late.

I am so impressed with this company! After dealing with 3-4 different electricians over the last year and a half, (all over getting a swimming pool light fixed), we FINALLY called the electrician company we should have started with! Beginning with the young lady that answers the phones at Driven (I can’t remember her name). She was SO easy to work with! Clear communication the whole time, and she was always friendly!! Then, both Braeden and Caden (Driven electricians), came out to our house and were able to figure out why our swimming pool light wouldn’t work. After a reasonable estimate was provided, they came back and ran an underground conduit for a new circuit and reworked some existing wires. Voila! POOL LIGHT WORKS!! YAYYYY!!! These two guys were top-notch!!! 💯 👍From the initial phone call to Driven, til the job was completed, every person we dealt with was VERY professional, friendly, and did GREAT work!!! We will be using them from now on.

I found Driven Power Systems on the Neighborhood app recommended by a neighbor. I called and James Webb came out the next day to check out my problem. He was on time, professional, courteous, and respectful. I was very happy with his work and recommendations. I called him back for two additional electrical jobs. His rates are reasonable and he cleaned up after himself! I have used two other local electrical companies in St Petersburg with very expensive, disastrous results. I am already finding other electrical jobs around the house that Ive been putting off for a long time that I can finally have fixed. Driven Power Systems is the only electrical company Ill use in the future. Finally a contractor I can trust!

Jay Webb is a good honest man. I had a few small jobs that I needed to get done (motion lights, patio outlet and new cable tv line for our spare bedroom) After calling a few local companies that either blew me off or couldnt be bothered with the small tasks I needed, Driven Power was recommended by a friend. Jay gave me a time that he would be able to stop by and give me an estimate. He showed up on time and was very professional. His price was much less than what I thought it wouldve cost based on work Ive had done on my previous home. Everything was done very neat and clean. Ill be using Driven Power again for sure.

Clinton did a Great job with the foyer lights and separating the switches. Very happy with the outdoor dedicated line he put in for my electric smoker. An electrician showed up to change light bulbs in kitchen. This was a stranger somehow got my information that I was looking for an electrician. He broke the cover so I had to buy a new light fixture because they dont make the cover alone for it. Glad this guy never called back again. Then got a call back from Driven Power Systems and James came to the rescue after I bought a brand new fixture. James not only installed it professionally but had to do extra work beyond the call of duty by placing extra holes to make sure it is anchored correctly. For all he did, the price was so inexpensive I added $10 to his check. Fantastic company and person should you need electrical work of any kind done.

Small job. Change stove 220V wall electric plug. Old plug was a box that was mounted on baseboard and forced stove to stick out a few inches. He replaced the box with a recessed wall plug. Took about an hour. Nice job and quick service. Would recommend for small or large electrical work.

Hands down the nicest group of guys to have work on/in your house. What’s the most surprising is every time they have come out it’s been someone different and STILL they have been the most consistent which is saying a lot for any company in the great state of Florida where reliability isn’t something I have come to expect anymore. They have installed electrical for ceiling fans, chandeliers, can lights, and pool lights. Some of these jobs required some outside of the box thinking and they’ve always done an awesome job for us. They even had Bruce from BMC home repairs come out and patch drywall where they had to move a box and it may be the best patch job I’ve ever seen to the point where he has now done other work at our house. The owner even came out on a Saturday before going to the beach with his family to finish a job. Hands down the most reliable company I’ve used since moving to Florida 6 yrs ago.

I had a problem with my power (dimming lights, fridge kept turning off and on, a/c trying to restart). I called Tiffany and described it. She said to call Duke Energy, as it sounded like their equipment was at fault. She could have charged me for a service call to confirm that it was Dukes equipment, but she didnt! Duke came out and fixed it. I was so impressed about her being service oriented that I had them install 2 exhaust fans. I charged for only what I needed done. The technicians were polite and fast! The cost was less than some other estimates I got. This company is a keeper for me!

Driven Power Systems provided exceptional service to me, from the quick response by Tiffany in getting a date set up for an in-home estimate, to the installation of much-needed recessed lighting in my Pinellas Park home. Being sight-impaired, I have a LOT of lighting needs plus small issues like switching to GFCI and a couple outlets not working properly. James did a thorough, accurate estimate and gave me useful ideas. The company was 100% on-board with me splitting my expensive project into 2 phases. Phase one was beautifully completed by Joshua (whom I will request for Part 2. He has a wonderful, patient, respectful style interacting with the guys who were assisting him - that really stood out to me.) 16 new recessed lights were installed, I got a bit of a volume discount, they were quick and efficient and the guys cleaned up nicely afterwards. Half of my home is now no longer dark and cave like. I cant wait to complete all my lighting projects in Oct and I highly recommend Driven Power Systems.

James recognized I was in a pinch and needed 4 point inspection issues remediated ASAP. He sent two great guys, Eric and Brett, to the house to fix everything as needed. They took pictures of the work so we could clear the inspection report to get insurance, and they also adjusted the original estimate based on what did not need to be done.
