A+! installation of a SEER 14+ Lennox 3-ton air conditioning outside compressor and inside-garage evaperator, electric heat element, and air handler! 2-day install also included 1 new vent with duct, and an upsizing of an 8 long distance return (to 12). Install crew was outstanding, clean, efficient, and professional! Sales advisor bent backwards to accommodate a couple of small issues. RECOMMENDED!

Kevin did a nice job diagnosing my issue. Pretty much my 19 y.o. central AC R22 model, has a malfunctioning capacitor, worn out condenser fan blades, among other issues. He gave me a quote to either repair, OR I chose option for a specialist to come out & give me a quote on a new system. The repairs would cost about half what a new system would be. They scheduled it within next 2 hours. System is old, an energy hog, & on its last leg. Lets see how much a new one will cost me.

I had the pleasure of having Jeremiah Baez from Performance Air as my AC technician today, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the service he provided. From the start, Jeremiah was thorough and explained everything he was examining. He even showed me pictures of the areas of concern—something Ive never experienced before with a technician.He took the time to discuss different options with me and was polite and easy to talk to, never pushing unnecessary sales on me. Given that our home was damaged by the hurricanes, this has been a particularly stressful time, and Jeremiahs understanding and supportive approach truly made a difference.I specifically requested that he return to replace the parts my unit needs because I trust him completely. His professionalism and care for his clients shines through in his work, and Performance Air is lucky to have him on their team. If you’re experiencing AC issues, I highly recommend requesting Jeremiah. You won’t be disappointed—his customer service is exceptional!

Chris McCarty was absolutely wonderful! He was determined to find the issue that our central unit was having, and not leave us hanging.Short backstory- We have been battling with an issue with our central unit since mid August. We have a Home Warranty company and they sent out a different contractor, several times. For over two months, we were not able to get to the root of the problem. They would get it working again, but it would stop working and show the same errors again, within just a matter of days. In the hottest part of the summer- this was incredibly frustrating!Finally our warranty company said that we could find a different company to come and see if they could figure out what the issue was. I called Performance AC and they got someone out right away. Chris was incredibly professional, timely and thorough. Our AC is working now and he was able to explain what the problem was and how it was found. We are incredibly impressed and we will now be using them for our semi annual maintenance each year.Thank you Chris! You have gone above and beyond and we certainly appreciate your customer service! I have come back to this company after 18 months of living out of the country and they have once again been extremely easy to work with. All of the technicians I’ve met are polite and knowledgeable, as a female sometimes professionals don’t interact with me like I matter - but this company has never made me feel anything like that. We recently bought a new house and had a few issues with our trane unit. We called Performance who put the unit in originally and they were able to come out the next day. We had Leon as our AC tech. Leon was super professional and nice. He was knowledgeable and was able to get our unit in the proper working condition. He even corrected our outdoor drain pipe. We will continue to use Performance AC for all of our service needs.

Spencer was awesome. He went on the roof and snake the whole system in the house afterwards he ran a camera through the whole system and showed us a video of our pipes. He did a great job. We were in desperate need of AC work here in SW Florida. Kevin W and Larry M - we’re absolutely the beat HVAC pros I’ve ever met. And I have met plenty after owning 8 homes over the past 40 years. They worked great as a team and detailed us on the system and thermostat very patiently.The system is working great.

Troy was able to put together a system that fit our needs and budget.The 3 man install team worked quickly and cleaned up before they left. Leon, the technician who diagnosed our problem was very thorough with his explanation of what happened and made suggestions for a fix, both short and long term. Unfortunately the short term fix was really not a good option so we went with a new system. Britt did a good job explaining all our options and I think we made the right decision. Our installers, Larry and Kevin, were very professional and did and excellent work in getting the system installed and running even having to work through several thunderstorms and me asking way too many questions. I was extremely pleased with their work and would highly recommend them to perform your next A/C system installation.

Performance installed my HVAC system and I use the same company to maintain it. Recently, my overflow pan filled, triggering the float to shut down the system (as it should). My Performance technician Kevin was able to quickly diagnose that there was a pretty serious clog in a part up by the air handler in the attic. It wasn’t just a simple “vacuum the drain outside of the house” (which I had already done in vain). Performance air conditioning is a well managed company with good communication. Office staff handles scheduling. Technicians aren’t responsible for that important part of the job. Needless to say, this makes a huge difference. I’ve experienced it the other way. No phone tag. I receive text messages regarding the technicians estimated arrival time, etc. During a repair, I am informed about what the issue is and given the repair quote before any work commences. I always feel in the loop. My technician Kevin is neat, polite, friendly, and always takes the time to explain things and answer any questions I pose to him. I highly recommend Performance Air Conditioning Electrical & Plumbing.

It was after 5:30 before someone arrived.

Contacted Performance air to check noise inside blower motor was periodically making.Tech came in, no tools had to go back for flashlight, started to clean drain line from outside with shop.vac. The vac was ran on drain line approximately 30 mins, I do not know if anything on the outside unit was checked. No parts or repairs were needed, my charge was $411 I am assuming to clean drain line and service fee for coming out. I don’t know I never received email with copy of my billing.Since service visit my blower motor inside still makes the same noise.I am updating my review after speaking with another AC company I learned it would have been nearly impossible for a tech to locate my AC issue since it was making sound intermittent the issue was resolved.Thank you for performance air reaching out to me to make the service right

Everything was great. They called the morning of the service and said when they would be at our place. The worker Daniel arrived, introduced himself and went and looked at our issue. He gave me a quote on what was to be done and in a short time he got the replacement part that was in his truck and resolved my issue. I then asked him about a food disposal that wasnt working. He looked at it and explained where the reset button was and the crank to rotate the blades to dislodge any blockage. It worked and the disposal is fine. What a nice guy and a great job he did.

I kind a chuckled under my breath I have heard this before. this Man , Soctt started performing his Maintenance on my Air Handler. step by step cleaning it inside and out around and testing parts with his meter and explaining what hes doing and showing me the readings, I was shocked of his professionalism, honesty and pride taking his time and cleaning the air handler and what could go bad in time this man took his time and made sure my air handler is running like a Swiss watch. I have never experienced that with any other company I was so impressed with his work what a piece of mined I got and so happy with his work. then we went outside to the main unit where he checked my Freon level and all the parts with his meter where I found out I have one bad part. he took his time Vacuumed inside the unit then spraying it down washing it clean. he took his time he did not rush he explained every thing to me I was very impressed and happy with taking pride in his work and professionalism he did and extraordinary Job. We had a tech come out from PERFORMANCE for an annual service. The unit was working but it had a few small issues beside the fact that it was 15 years old. We spoke with four companies, PERFORMANCE offered the most complete service for the best price. Britt did a great job of helping us choose the right unit and Kevin and Larry did an AWESOME installation. Very good experience! THANKS!

Called for service on a shower head replacement and sink repair. Daniel came the next day and did what was asked. While here, I needed some additional repairs to two toilets and another shower head repair. He went above and beyond even leaving to get the parts needed two times. Would definitely recommend PERFORMANCE for any service needed in the future. JOB WELL DONE! And the price was right on!

First experience with this company since they absorbed Pinellas Comfort Systems. I was pleased with the maintenance visit. The technician, Scott Vogan, was on time and seemed quite experienced. He gave my system a very thorough inspection and cleaning. Imparted tips and suggestions but was not a hard sell. Spent ample time to do the job well.

Called Performance Plumbing, Electrical and scheduled an A/C tune up in preparation for the coming summer months. Mr. Arnold Wilson arrived in a timely manner within the arrival window. He was very personable, professional, and courteous. He provided me with a thorough explanation of the service I was receiving. He was meticulous, took photographs, fielded any questions that I had. All in all, Mr. Arnold Wilson provided excellent customer service! I really appreciated his attention to detail, professionalism and honesty! It is very hard to find good people…he is certainly one of them!
