Let me first say, our home situation was apparently one of the worst situations Dave had ever seen! He had to work hard to get our bathroom plumbing up and running again.Through no fault of our own, we had an (original builder of the home) underground PVC erroneous infrastructure that created the issue in the first place, which made the original visit hard to diagnose right off the bat, let alone fix! A perfect storm if you will. Luckily, due to Daves diligence and experience, he recognized what needed to be done! We will call him anytime we need plumbing in the future for sure! Thanks again Dave!FAST FORWARD a few weeks; Dave has now returned to install our beautiful new toilet. We had to order one, so it took awhile. Best advice is to simply have any toilet you order shipped to the store in which you will pick up yourself AFTER making the store employee open the box (at the store while youre watching) to make sure nothing is broken or looking as if it had been tampered with. We were good to go then! Thanks to DAVE and his perfect installation of our new Kohler toilet, I can put this expanded ordeal to rest! MANY thanks again Dave! :-)))

I recently had the opportunity to address my hot water tank issues......making weird sounds, etc. Called Brooks and they proceeded to tell me how to fix it via e-mail. Fortunately, I was able to fix it based on their info and therefore saved over $200 +!! I did call another co prior, they stopped by and without looking thoroughly at my concerns, they quoted me $1,650 for a new tank, etc, etc. Obviously trying to scam me. In all my years, was never able to call a contractor about an issue and have them walk me thru fixing it by phone, e-mail, etc. And at NO CHARGE!! Brooks will now be my go to plumber and should be yours! Thank you Brooks Plumbing!!

I called for a bathtub spout that was leaking when I tried to use the shower. Dave arrived and installed a threaded copper end for a new bathtub spout instead of the typical slide on spout that I brought from Home Depot. The whole job lasted 30 minutes and my problem was solved. Job done right for a reasonable price.

I purchased a new garbage disposal and planned to install it myself. The process was simple but the disposal unit just wouldnt connect to the mounting ring. I tried for hours and had my 44 year old son try but to no avail. I saw that Dave Brooks had good reviews so I gave him a call around 5 p.m. and left a message. He called that night and although he had a full day scheduled the next day, he knew I was without a kitchen sink until the garbage disposal was reinstalled. He came first thing the next morning and installed the unit. He was professional, knowledgeable, on-time, and charged a fair price. I cant thank him enough for coming to my rescue so quickly. I will use him again!

He assessed the situation and suggested we replace the water heater, which we had already established prior to calling him. He went to Lowes, purchased the agreed upon water heater, and had it installed within three hours, total. Dave is very professional, he knows his stuff, and hes even a real good guy. I highly recommend him.

About 6 weeks ago we hired Dave Brooks based on the recommendation of several neighbors to sweat-in some copper tubing under our kitchen sink and rework the pipes due to a remodel. A couple weeks later, we had him back to replace a shower valve and toilet flapper valve and install the new faucet at our sink and shower fixtures after having it retiled/remodeled. Last week we invited him back out to change our water heater, as it just wasnt keeping up with the demand anymore. Let me tell you what we noticed and appreciated about Dave. He was available, punctual, neatly presentable, respectful, courteous, adequately equipped, highly knowledgeable and skilled, worked quickly and efficiently, kept his work area clean, worked around other trades well, did exactly as promised, used quality parts, and communicated well. He also backs all his work in writing. If these things matter to you, then Dave is your man. We found his rates to be standard for his industry, and know that you get what you pay for in a trade. Is plumbing expensive? It can be. But so can a botched job by someone who is not properly trained, rushed, or using inferior parts/materials. We were not taking any chances with our brand new all wood cabinets. And we know that Dave Brooks Plumbing will be around for years to come, so that brings peace of mind.
