It’s very difficult to find good, let alone great contractors. Ampt was awesome. Showed up on time, communicated incredibly well, in advance, during, and for follow up. Hit a major issue doing a 220V EV outlet install, due to a specific way my home was constructed, and had to come back 3 times. Never once thought to give up, didn’t try to increase the cost, and kept coming back quickly.100% recommend them and will be using them again.

Thank you Ampt Electric for making my home safe. I was recently experiencing electrical surges in my home (with no apparent cause) that seemed to be spreading to several rooms. Ampt sent David Unitt to our home to lead the work. He accurately diagnosed that the air conditioning was pulling too much current (turns out it was dying of old age and the breaker was too large, so it didnt trip when it was supposed to). We had our main panel, meter box, and outlets replaced (and, no, they didnt oversell it - we actually needed it). The house is old, so David and the team also corrected some creative wiring that a previous electrician had installed before we bought the house. The team also properly grounded the water pipes in our home. Our home is definitely safer today than it was before Ampt showed up.

I needed a crystal chandelier installed in my foyer. I have really tall ceilings in the foyer. I had been to 4 other companies before calling Ampt. All the other companies wasted my time as they didnt have a tall enough ladder (even though they said they did). Ampt came out and did a review of my space and they said they had a high enough ladder. I scheduled the installation. They came out, were on time, professional and installed my chandelier with care. It didnt take them long. I was so happy they were able to install my new chandelier properly.I am one satisfied customer!! I definitely recommend!!

Ampt technicians just left my house. They converted an old florescent kitchen fixture so it will now use LED bulbs (so much brighter!), and also checked a couple of other things for us. They responded quickly to the voice mail that I left to schedule my appointment. Then the day before the appointment they gave me a one hour window for when they would arrive, and early on the morning they were scheduled they gave me a 10 minute window for when they would arrive. They were accurate in both cases predicting their arrival time, and were professional in assessing my needs and quickly gave me an estimate to complete the work. The price estimates were reasonable and they started the work immediately, explaining what they were doing every step of the way. They completed the work successfully and in line with their estimates, and I couldnt be happier with the whole expereince. I highly recommend Ampt (and Will) to anyone looking for home electrical repairs.

My father is a homebuilder and my brother works in HVAC and both knowing a lot about the trade were both very impressed by the work ethic of the young men that came out here. They were on time they were pleasant. They were quick with their work and their solutions and hands-down, one of the best trades, I’ve ever worked with. In the future, no question this is who I will call with my electrical needs company and would hardly indorse them if you need an electrician in the future.

We have called Ampt twice to come and fix some electrical issues we were having. Both times Alex has come to do the repairs. We have found him to be efficient in completing the repairs. He was prompt in his arrival at our house, even a few minutes early. He is polite and friendly and willing to explain to my husband or myself how to complete some of the easier repairs. But I dont do electrical and neither does my husband, so we will call Ampt when we need something done with electricity at our house!

Mason was wonderful! He arrived early and did the troubleshooting - making sure we were not looking at damage from wildlife - which has happened in the past. I think the worst part for him was having to shimmy into the crawl space above the carport to check for damage. Lol. I WILL be calling Ampt for any future electrical needs... and hope they dont have to shimmy into that crawl space again ... great job, Mason! :)

I have used AMPT electric twice at my home and have been very happy with the quality of the services they provide. Like most homeowners, I am always hesitant about using a new contractor so I had AMPT take care of my exterior outlets first to see if they lived up to the reviews (an outlet had gone bad). They did a great job and even provided some advice regarding my automatic transfer switch. I then brought them back to hang some chandeliers and an outdoor hanging light. Again, they did a great job. I know who I am calling when I will have recessed lighting installed later this year. Thanks!

I called in an appointment with Ampt Elec based on a suggestion from one of my neighbors. I was looking to install canned ceiling lights in my living room and kitchen. Having received quotes from 3 other companies and some mention about possible cutting of sheet rock and paint job, Ampt folks surprised me with their quote. On the day of service, they were very prompt and did the installation to perfection. I did not have to do any paint job or any other clean up after the installation. they were very professional. They did a really good job. I needed my dryer outlet tied into my electrical panel, and I needed an outlet added to my laundry closet to hook up my washer. The home I bought has all sorts of quirky issues, and I would trust Ampt to work on any of them. Jacob, one of the technicians, arrived on time, thoroughly assessed the conditions, quoted a fair price for the work, and came back prepared to do the work with the help of another technician. Requiring two people to do the job, and taking longer than originally anticipated, the price remained fair and reasonable. No dramatic escalation of the price. They did the job as efficiently and thoughtfully as possible, and I am pleased with the results.

I have hired Ampt for several different jobs in my house. First they fixed some electrical problems that were found in my home inspection. Second they installed new light fixtures and smoke detectors. Thirdly they grounded one outlet that is used for our TV. They always come on time and they explain and show me everything they are doing. I have also noticed that their prices are lower then other estimates I have gotten, and I like the way they treat me and explain everything.

Had to get a Nema 14-50 installed. Not only were they the cheapest but they were also the coolest. Very down to earth people. They also did a great job with the project. One of my biggest concerns was the damage to the dry walls. They worked in a way to minimize as much damage as possible. Great team overall. Today I had a dishwasher installed by a plumbing company. Unfortunately, the plumber was unfamiliar with a relatively new wiring set up which includes a junction box as opposed to a direct wire. Although the necessary equipment was included with the dishwasher, I was told I needed an electrician to finish the job. I called at 9 o’clock in the morning, the technician was here by noon, not only did he complete complete the necessary wiring, he also helped me mount the dishwasher because the plumber was unfamiliar how to mount a dishwasher with a granite countertop, And the dishwasher was just left “sitting.”Fast, courteous, and excellent service, you can’t ask for better!
