The crew is very professional answering all the questions and concerns. The owner Jessie who sold us was extremely helpful and got us a good deal in the process. I am a proud client of the Solar Guys. I was looking into getting solar panels about 15 months ago for my home but had lots of questions and wanted to make sure I got it right. I started off meeting with Pete, my Energy Consultant. I had hundreds of questions and I spent weeks discussing every last detail. At all times Pete K. was patient with me and went above and beyond answering every last question. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured to make a decision but I finally decided I would move forward with the agreed system. Next, I spoke with Eric T. regarding the install schedule and the last few details of the exact product and specs of the system. On the day of the install everything went perfectly as planned and Eric T. even helped me get some awesome photos of my completed/installed system. All of the workmanship was excellent, clean, and neat. Even making my payment to Michelle W. went smoothly and without a hitch. I am a very picky customer but these guys did everything exactly as agreed to and the system has been producing for almost a year now without a single problem. I rarely write reviews or give recommendations but these guys get an A+ for everything from start to finish. If you are considering solar, talk to these guys and look at the fantastic work they do; theyre the best!

Jesse and his team took the time to answer all of my questions. They did a drone fly over and provided in-depth analysis of projected production. From the initial contact to see if Solar was good for my residence until the final work done, the whole team was very professional and payed attention to detail. I had the Solar Guys back to do more electrical work and they were prompt and professional. Highly recommend them. As my system came on and began producing solar power, my electric bill went from $400 per month to $22 per month..which the $22 charge is to have an electric meter through the electric company. Also I had Solar Guys install my Tesla charging station which I charge my electric vehicle absolutely free. So far I have saved $943 on a gasoline bill in just a few months. A tremendous savings once again.

We are very happy with our overall experience with The Solar Guys! After doing our due diligence, the decision was easy to proceed with TSG. We were especially attracted to the fact that TSG did not contact any part of the process, install to maintenance, to an outside source. They take pride in their work and are stand behind it. Another selling point being, they are a family-owned and operated business. There is a reason they have such high ratings on Google!! We recently had a warranty issue that was handled swiftly. Ryan came out and provided the replacement component. We were very happy with his customer service and expertise!

I have been waiting years to get solar. I have been watching the YouTube channel Solar Surge to understand what I wanted and what was possible. At the same time I found out that the installer you pick is just as important as the system you have installed. Solar Guys have been in business for over 15 years. They have strong Financials and are taking on systems that have been abandoned by other companies going out of business. Brian was my sales guy. He knew his products and actually helped me stay away from something I thought I wanted. Brian keep in constant contact. Chas was great at getting stuff scheduled. Michelle helped me with the paperwork. Anthony the lead installer was great and explained all the steps to me the day of install. Ryan was a great worker. He offered to let me put one of the panels up. I said no. Total time from meeting with Brian to system install was under 2 months. I am waiting on PTO from Evergy but should have that shortly. A very smooth process overall. The last thing my loan. 21,800 and it is 200 a month which is what I pay Evergy now. That price is also the lowest price I have ever seen for a system. In years past it was 35 or 42 or even 56 for the same system. I wholely support the Solar Guys and what they are doing.

Loved working with The Solar Guys! Our last two months electric bills were under $5! Highly recommend their service and quality! We had an existing issue in our attic and Jesse came out to make sure it was safe and secure. We got new siding shortly after and Jereme came out for free and disconnected our boxes so the siding company could get behind them safely. The owners Jesse and Jereme are amazing, along with the sales guys we worked with and followed up with (Kalon & Eric) and the office staff we worked with (Brandi & Heather).

We have been happy with the whole process from sales to completion with the Solar Guys. Mike Reysack is the owner, operator/sales and came to our house to go over the product and discuss details. We were impressed with his knowledge, friendliness, and no push demeanor. We hate salesy pushy people and he gave us no stress or pressure. He worked within our budget and did not just say things to make us want or need something. Educated us and explained some things further. We got quotes from two other companies in the area and Mike was far more professional and knowledgeable than others, others were more pushy and almost guilt tripped us in why we should buy from them, and Mike at the Solar Guys also was a better value, although not necessarily the least expensive, because we agreed what they offered looked and sounded like better quality, along with their warranty. Brandi and Cassie in the main office were great as well, helping with scheduling and coordinating the installation so we were hands off minus needing to let them know our schedule as requested. And Daniel and Soren installed efficiently on their end with no issues and cleaned up and did their work quickly and quietly. Highly recommend the whole company and so far enjoying our solar panels!

Mike Reysack came to our house and laid out all the plans and diagrams for our solar installation. He gave us perspectives of the energy output and cost effectiveness. He was professional and a very nice person. I don’t have any photos of the installation or the roof of our shop( where they are installed). We had a problem with one of the panels not being connected. Solar Guys sent out a repair man and it was fixed immediately. I recommend Solar Guys as a reputable company with excellent service . Solar Guys were amazingly professional and very thorough. I feel like I met and worked with everyone at the company. I had wanted solar for a long time, but most companies wouldnt work with me because of tree cover on my home. I was getting quotes from 3 companies, and Kalon from Solar Guys showed up with a competitive quote that showed they really understood what I wanted (maximum production) better than the others. These guys are not running a lowest-common-denominator Solar sales operation and it shows, they really know their stuff.This was part of a whole-home electrification project for me, and Eric, Jesse, Brandi, and the whole crew were great about explaining designs, making sure timing would work out, and keeping me informed on decisions and updates they were making. Even as we dealt with complications from third parties, they keep the communication up and were diligent about moving the project forward. I would work with this crew again in a heartbeat. I have been trying to get the final inspections etc. done, but the Cos involved in the bankruptcy, would not get the JOB done. I just happened to see That Solar Guy link, made contact, and they got too work getting inspections and metering done. Iam up and running. THANK YOU to that Solar Guy crew. This is my second time working with The Solar Guys to do a detach and reset in order to replace the roof due to hail damage. Ryan, Russ, and the team were great to work with. The 28-panel system was installed by the previous homeowner using a different installer, and during the reinstall, The Solar Guys improved the roof layout and simplified the electrical connections reducing system complexity and the number of roof locations. We had some random people stop by to try and sell us solar (which they did) so just to compare them we called The Solar Guys and the difference was laughable. For starters, our system is not only better but cost 37k LESS than what our first “offer” was. The entire vibe of the process was wholesome as opposed to slimy. We got great answers to all of our questions - even those that we didn’t necessarily like the answers to. We already saved our neighbors from the other “offer” and will absolutely be continuing to recommend The Solar Guys.

The solar guys handle it professionally, with 13 years of experience they know what they are doing! I am very pleased with my 9.6KW system and it is actually producing slightly more than expected. They only use top tier equipment. Bye-bye electric bills!

I hired the Solar Guys to install solar panels on my roof, install a backup battery system and high speed electric car charger. They did a great job. Everything works great. It enabled me to buy an electric car and charge it for less than $10 per charge. Jesse personally installed the electric car charger.During the installation, the project manager resigned from Solar Guys and the project stalled temporarily. Jesse came out and listened to my concerns and got the project back on track.Id recommend the Solar Guys. Theyre honest and have an ample number of electricians to get the job done right.

He also was also great to work with. SolarGuys and these guys got this accomplished!! Our panels were put on - October, 2021. Then the company went out of business. Until this spring, nothing!! So glad we found the Solar Guys! We decided to look into solar as a way to reduce our electric bills. We called 4 suppliers and scheduled evening appointments. One still hasnt shown, and another still owes an estimate. the 3rd was an additional 13K.Rich set up our appointment, even though they are located over an hour away. So we decided to go with Solar Guys after the informative meeting with Jesse.They did all the leg work in working with the electric co-op, and work began. the team of Jereme, Vince and Ryan were awesome. They had to trench more than a hundred yards thru clay and rock. They added a new service panel the the barn, and joined it to the house. They did an amazing job.The Enlighten app is very informative in tracking electric usage. You can compare to yesterday, last month or last year. It also shows estimated dollars saved, and is very accurate. We save between 225 and 300 bucks a month.I received a follow up call from Cassie after a few months. She was checking on our thoughts of the new system, and looking for ways to improve their service. You cant improve on perfection!Keep up the great work.

Update 2024: I am still very happy with my system and it is working great, the upgrade worked really well and my system working beautifully and covering all my energy needs. Next upgrade will be batteries, may be next year!.This will be very honest review. When I started looking into investing in solar power I did a lot of research and there are a lot of scammers and dishonest sales people out there the Soler Guys were definitely not one of them. They explained their system which the state of art at the time and was excited that my panels will still work even after the grid go down compared to the other 90% installations everywhere. They were really great explaining everything and during the whole process they were very responsive to my inquiries and very important they were fine of me paying the whole installation in cash, which very rare in the solar industry because all the others companies I explored were pushing financing so hard and totally ignore you when I said I want to pay cash. Here an advice to anyone want solar do the financing on your own because all the options through the installation companies is basically a legal rubbery. Ok back to the Solar guys ,as I said they were great through the whole installation process they came on time and installation took just two days, we had a little problem during installation but the owner intervened and fix it right away. after a month or so of installation my system started producing (Evergy took some time to put the solar meter). Since then my bill is ranging from -$5 to $60, the high number is during winter and I will be using electric heat pump for heating. This compared to $120-$300 before solar. My system works great and one time I had on problem with one panel and they fixed it really fast. There were some small delays in after installing service but they worked on it, and things are much better. I really like this company and the people who work there. I will be upgrading my system with more panels from them soon. If you are think to get solar talk to them they will help you a lot understand things about solar and they should be your to go company. Supporting and doing business with local companies is always better for your community.

We have just completed our solar panel inhalation through “The Solar guys” and have nothing but praise for there superb work, professionalism and commitment to excellence and customer service! They offer beautiful, all black, LG panels with a 25 year warranty as well as an LG manufacturers warranty that complemented our house perfectly. Additionally, from a practical standpoint their panels are each equipped with a micro inverter insuring that if one panel goes out your whole system will still remain operational. This is important as other companies that we looked into operated on one main inverter meaning that if it goes out your system will be offline as well. With better technology and superior aesthetics “The Solar Guys” are ahead of the competition. Jessie, Jeremy and Brandi were a pleasure to work with and were always there to attend to any questions that we had in a timely manner. I would emphatically recommend The Solar Guys to all my family, friends and anyone else looking to upgrade there house to solar.

It took less than two weeks from my initial conversation with Jesse, the owner, until my system was finished. They also helped expedite having Evergy come and install the new solar box so that we could start using our solar panels. Thanks to their quick work, Ive gotten my solar system completed, turned on, and received my rebate from Evergy in less than a month. This is the company you want to do your solar! I did several years of research, considered doing the install myself in conjunction with an electrician to do the final hook ups. Prior to going down that road I invited four companies to the house for an on-site evaluation and discussion. The Solar Guys were the fifth and the company I chose for several reasons. First and foremost the discussions with the other companies were very high-level, basically a canned speech, and those individuals that came here were clearly salesman with little technical knowledge. Most were unable to respond to very direct questions I was unable to discern during my research to do my own install. I also conducted a couple of over the phone interviews with even less satisfactionThe solar guys visit answered questions and explain things, I knew them that I was ill prepared, even as an individual with a great deal of electrical, mechanical and construction experience. Without getting in to some of their, what I would call process and installation secrets, it was very easy to see that they are at the front of the solar installation and design development. They took care of permitting issues that I had begun and incorrectly completed. They utilized is established rapport and contacts with my electrical company, as well as the county to move the install through the process . They answered phone calls or text messages when I had questions and that’s just the interface results with their office and foreman.Now to the installer crew which I would characterize as an installation team, more of a neighborhood or Amish barn raising experience. We were on a first name basis and worked to a level of quality and integrity, settling for no less than perfection in how they wired how they installed panels and connected to the house for my net metering. I wouldn’t hesitate to give them the keys to my house and work while I wasn’t there in fact, on occasion, they did just that. Each system is different in some way or another, my system, which includes a load sharing back up generator tied into my solar grid to allow me to power the house, using solar and a generator if the grid goes down. There is an app which I have on my phone and it’s also on my PC which allows me to see generator output, solar output, grid feed, as well as the power I’m using in my house. A useful tool I find myself walking around the house and turning off fans or unneeded appliances and watching my kilowatt usage drop on the house While back feeding the net with a very simple diagram with moving arrows. I Donely has it made me more aware of what I am using. I find myself becoming more frugal, reminding myself to turn off things that are not in use just to backfeed to the grid. to take full advantage I have recently purchased an EV car, so I’m filling up my car from the sun as well as power in my house. I have told this company, but they are welcome to use me as a reference and I would be happy to do so.

If you are looking for an local honest small business for your solar install, look no further. The Solar Guys was one of four companies I had consultations with and after Jesse, the owner, personally came to the consultation I immediately knew they were the company for me.Not only did they give us an honest breakdown of all of their pricing and process for the install, but they additionally helped with some custom requests that were needed that could have cost us hundreds more. They were able to work around my schedule with our daughter’s nap time and wife, who works nights/sleeps during the day. Lastly, the whole process was extremely well laid out and finished in a timely manner. We spent more time waiting on the city coming out and checking/switching out equipment than the paperwork, ordering the panels, and solar install combined.I don’t regret going with this company and have recommended them to 5 people already. The Solar Guys helped us expand our solar system from 8kW to 10kW. The original system is almost 3 years old and sourcing matching panels was extremely difficult. I was very demanding and wanted everything to match perfectly and Jesse and Jereme never gave up and they went above and beyond.Not only did we get the right panels, but they also fixed some installation errors that were made by the original installers. Now with new mounting rails, a re-wired panel, some squirrel damage repaired, critter guard installed, Ive gone from a system that was barely functional to something that I believe will last as long as we live here. There were so many issues that it wouldve been easy for Jesse to walk away several times, but hes genuinely dedicated to having happy customers. I cant thank him and his crew enough!

They spent time working with me to make sure my energy production reached its full potential with current number of panels I already had. The company I bought the system from originally designed the system very poorly. After being told by several other solar companies the design was basically trash, I have a new design and now I’m exporting energy multiple days in December last months bill was $32 with a hot tub hooked up. The re-install was clean as well (after my roof was replaced after a bad storm this year) and everything is level square and wires were hidden nicely. They were good at communicating with me on schedules and weather delays too. These guys care and it’s not all about the sale. I highly recommend these guys for any solar work you have. There’s little I like more than excellent customer service so I want to share this for anyone thinking of putting in solar panels. We put a system in on our barn last fall and have been really pleased with the savings. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that a few of our panels were not performing as well as the others so I tried to contact our original installer for service. Solar systems generally have a 25 year parts and labor warranty with the caveat that the “free” labor has to come from your original installer. I was shocked to see that they were suddenly out of business. (I later learned that there may have been some embezzlement taking place.)So, I looked around and found The Solar Guys in Parkville. I sent an email asking for help and Jesse, the owner of the company, called me almost immediately. Turns out they are family owned with all full-time employees and report to be the oldest solar installer in the KC area. Even though he could charge us for labor, Jesse offered to help us get our system fixed at no charge. He spent 30 mins on the phone with me talking through details and arranging for the service.I definitely have a new solar company and would recommend that anyone thinking of solar give them a call.

Didn’t really look at the house that much. In August 2023, Solar Guys installed 28 ground mount solar panels on our property. One week later we were producing electricity. From start to finish (contracting to installation, to inspection) the process went seamlessly. Jesse met with us and Eric was our Project Manager. Ive gone to seminars and gotten bids from solar companies over the years waiting for the right time and the right products. I asked many questions about materials, net metering, product reliability, battery back up, etc. and they patiently answered my questions and explained processes or followed up for specific city requirements. You couldnt ask for better customer service. I requested references and got very positive feedback from others experience. Our electric bills have been reduced to mostly fees and taxes and occasionally credits for extra electricity returned to the grid. Im extremely happy with our decision. It has reduced our expenses and reduced our carbon footprint.

They never subcontract, they have the expertise, to begin and see it through to the end. I loved their communication skills. By the way, they use only American-made LG panels and Enphase microinverters, which are among the best. I had wanted solar ever since I got my first electric car a couple years ago. Once my wife gave me the go-ahead to get it installed, there was only one company I knew I needed to contact.I reached out and got communication back seemingly right after I had submitted a request. We walked thru the pre-work, submitting bills, and then Jesse handled my presentation over Zoom. Everything was included, any detail I could have asked about, and there was no pressure to upsell or go for the biggest system I could (although I was going to do that anyway). Once we agreed, I began working with Justin on the details, drawings, city review, and scheduling. Knowing he was only a text message away with any question I came up with made me feel better and he never once seemed frustrated with all my questions (I had a lot as I am a hands-on project manager myself). We got product ordered and installation set up within days of the final approval. Jereme, Cameron, and Leo arrived the night before to check-in and make sure we were good to go Monday morning as they got started when they told me they would, even with cold rainy temps and seemingly less-than-ideal weather to be on a roof.The entire 10.2 KW system was installed a day and a half, even with weather delays of a few hours. Final inspection passed on Wednesday and Ameren even came out to swap my meter, allowing me to turn on the system Thursday afternoon – less than 80 hours from the start of installation.I can’t stress enough how important choosing the right company on something like this. It’s a huge investment in likely your most expensive asset (your house) and these guys just do it right all thru the process. It’s a family company that treats you like one of their own every step of the way.
