Daniel and Curtis did great work on a project for us. Their work was on point. They took the time to go over what they completed with the homeowner and were able to address a couple of additions to the scope on the fly without taking much more time. I am very pleased with my experience with Pleasant Valley Electric. I left a voicemail message on the weekend to request a service call during the week (my issue was not an emergency). Lauren called early on Monday morning to set-up the service call later that day. Jordan came over promptly. He is a very polite and friendly fellow and he did great work in a prompt manner. Mike was great. He correctly diagnosed the problem with my generator. He explained everything he was doing as he was doing it. He didn’t have the parts to complete the repair, but as DIYer, he showed me what had to be done. Pleasant Valley ordered the parts for me, I replaced them, and everything is working fine.

Mike was totally great!! He showed up within minutes of my request for service, and he arrived on the dot. He gave a very informed and complete explanation of the problem, fixed it efficiently and quickly and explained just what hed done. Friendly as can be and I couldnt ask for better service. Very grateful to him and also to the kind person at the desk at Pleasant Valley Electric for their understanding of what was an emergency situation and getting it fixed fast.

We needed several things done, and I am significantly immunocompromised so we are very careful who we let into our house. Mike was prompt, did exactly what we needed and gave good advice for the things that were more complicated. Best of all, he cheerfully wore a n N95 mask which went a long way towards our comfort level. We would definitely use Pleasant Valley electric for any future electrical needs.

Pat arrived early and worked on a number of confusing wiring problems, all of which he diagnosed. He fixed some, but others could not be fixed. For the ones that couldn’t be fixed, he provided suitable work-arounds. I’m very satisfied with his work and his clear explanation of the problems.

Jordan and Drew were a great team! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. What was thought to be a quick solution to electrical outage to my entryway turned into complicated investigation into which device outlet, switch, was causing the short. Goodness they just went device to device and ended up upgrading all devices so there shouldn’t be a problem again!! And Drew even pointed out a space at my NYSEG utility box that wasn’t closed off and mice a space for bees to nest! Yikes! Thanks Drew. PVE is responsive to calls and so very helpful. Highly recommend.

I received the usual outstanding PV Electric service from Jesse Horton and Drew Robarge. They walked me through the fire alarm system inspection, explained how it worked answered all my questions. We are interested in transitioning our system from the 2 landline technology to mobile, and Drew explained the process, the benefits of switching to mobile and the costs of doing so, as well as the service fee costs associated with the new system.I hope we will be calling PV Electric in the coming year to do the work for us.

Josh Reed was pleasant, obviously knowledgeable, and exceptionally competent in diagnosis and installation. The entire Pleasant Valley group is great -- their scheduler, whose name I have unfortunately forgotten, responded in a distinctly welcoming way to the minor emergency of electrical failure in part of my house. Though their schedule was full, Josh could fit in time the same day, and he appeared even earlier (with notice!) than scheduled. Im sure most homeowners have had the experience of a grudging and somehow condescending scheduling followed by a 4-5 hour unspecified workday wait, or tried to deal at all with the ridiculously inept call centers employed by the big box stores. Not Pleasant Valley! Thanks to all.
