Three people came to fix it and didn’t know the problem and charged me for diagnosis and asked me to replace the whole system. If you need an AC repairman then call Positive Plumbing, Heating, and AC. I used this company twice for AC issues and both times were a great experience. I used them five years ago. Alex was very responsive. He came and fixed the issue quickly and was reasonably priced. Just recently during the lockdown, there was a heatwave and all of a sudden my ac stopped working during the weekend. I did not want anyone in the house but it was too hot not to fix the ac. I called Positive Plumbing on a Sunday. Alex answered the call and scheduled an appointment on Monday, the next day. After a short discussion, he told me he knew what was likely wrong. He showed up the next day on time. I even got a courtesy call before he arrived. He had a mask and booties. He was able to get the ac working again in about ten minutes and was reasonably priced. Great service! I highly recommend this company!

Our home had 3 areas that were cold in the winter and hot in the summer even thought our central air unit was running. My husband always maintained air filters and couldnt figure out why we were having the problems we were experiencing. we called 2 other companies one being a large established outfit and the other being a local small family owned operation. One company told me the the original contractor that installed our central air system had used a inadequate underpowered unit that could not keep up. A complete teardown of all existing equipment as well as a new higher BTU rated system was suggested along with a estimate to do so. Yikes !!!!!The other company showed up on time and after an inspection of the existing system came back with the same conclusion but for different reasons. I was willing to accept the suggestions given to me and was figuring out where we would get the funds necessary.I felt uneasy about moving forward and on a whim I searched out another contractor and lucky for my family I found Alex.After telling Alex over the phone what the issues were but not mentioning anyone else had been out to my home for this problem. Alex showed up on time and was pleasant to deal with. He did a complete inspection which included him going into my attic space for quite a period of time.I was anticipating the same diagnosis and feeling ill.Alex came back to me and stared the original central air unit was the correct BTU rating for my home but there was duct work that was too small to flow enough air to those problem areas and some ducting joint issues that were failing. I was heating and cooling my attic is what he said.He also suggested a programmable smart thermostat. We agreed on a price and I told him I want to move forward.Alex came back on time the next day as promised with 2 workers. They started in my attic to remove the faulty ducting and replaced it with the parts. Alex began working on my systems equipment on the side of my home as well as cleared and disinfecting all the existing duct work. After another 3 hours they all came down and cleaned up.the mess they had made. They walked us through what was removed then showed us why they did what they did then helped my husband program our new smart thermostat.My new set up worked like a champ, no more hot or cold zones and after 30 day saw a reduction in my energy bills, Not to mention the new clean smell of my home. 5 starts is not enough stars for Alex and his crew. Their honesty saved us thousands of dollars to get my central air system working as it should. I can not say enough good things about Positive Plumbing. I highly recommend you give Positive Plumbing a call first if you are having heating or cooling issues.We love you Alex.

He thoroughly explained the issue and attempted a fix-it solution to get us through the summer. Ultimately, we needed to replace our 25 year + AC unit, but I was impressed with the time he took to get the best price for us. We use Alexs service to find and repair the leak in our sprinkler valve. The leak has caused us a big headache because the water bill went really high. Alex came on time and patiently explained the problem and how hes going to repair it. Hes very humble and not like those other HVAC servicemen we used in the past where they are too cocky to explain the problem and the solution.Alex explained that our house sprinkler valve was old and its the metal kind, not the PVC kind. Over time the valve has become corroded and water seeps through causing the leak. Alex completes the repair within a few hours and hes definitely a life saver. His pricing is very competitive too. Their price is super competitive and it shows that their focus is to help people rather than maximizing profits. We used Alex to redo our AC drain pipe line since the previous contractor didnt do a good job in running the AC evap coil drain line. The previous contractor somehow combine the primary and the secondary drain line into one pipe which is not up to code. If there were clogging on the line somehow, it wouldve flooded our entire attic and its definitely gonna be a disaster. Alex complete the job in no time and carefully explain how the primary and secondary drain line works.We are so grateful for Alex and wed recommend Alex for anyone who needs to do things around the house the right way.

They replace our entire HVAC system with AC Pro SEER 18 variable speed system (some people call it dual stage), replace our old air ducts with the latest kind in the industry (the one with shiny aluminum material), add additional return air opening & new vents in some rooms that are lacking airflow, replace vent grills in all rooms and bring everything up to code for a really competitive price that beats any other contractors I have been shopping around Orange County. If youre shopping around, look no further. Call them asap. Alex has been our plumber/AC/leak repairman for more than seven years now. He is dependable, qualified, reliable, professional and does fabulous work for a reasonable price. Most recently he replaced our AC unit and furnace. Hes also fixed numerous leaks and installed faucets for our home.

Alex is an exceptional plumbing/heating/AC professional. I originally called him for my AC which he repaired and serviced promptly and efficiently. Then, i had him visit my rental property for annual AC maintenance. Next, I had him install shower fixtures. Most recently, I had him come out for an EMERGENCY call on Sunday morning at 7 am! He was there to access the situation within an hour.
