We found Joe and Mr Painting and More when we bought our house in Yarmouth last year. Since then, they have been our complete home repair relationship. Joe was attentive to our needs, budget, and time and was very good at communicating with us. The work they have done include:Kitchen tile installation.Fence install and replacement.Full roof removal and replacement.House outside scraping and painting.Storm door install.Sink installation and light plumbing.I can’t say enough about how hard his crew work and friendly they are. Joe and his team from Mr. Painting and More did excellent work! Kept us updated with photos and videos (we’re not local to the property), worked clean, and made the place sparkle when they were done. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile for a beautiful finished product made it worth the wait. New flooring, new ceilings, paint throughout, recessed lighting throughout, gutted and replaced the kitchen- a HUGE job that came out beautifully!

From the very first contact with Joe; I felt heard and felt the professionalism that this amazing man and his business is so (justly) proud of. We had severe ceiling water damage and needed to have the work done before July 4th weekend. Our beloved realtor; Irene Cook, suggested a call to Joe Silva. From that very first call to the beautiful finished product, Joe was professional, timely, responsive and completely on top of things. He came over LITERALLY the next day, viewed the damage and sent a realistic and very reasonable quote to; not only paint, but repair all the damage-especially in our guest bathroom.Even with the time constraint we placed on him; and, during some difficult personal matters, Joe and his team completed the work to perfection. The work was timely, beautifully executed and looks absolutely wonderful. Working with someone who takes such great pride in his work, has been wonderful. He calls right back, is 💯 professional in quoting out a job, completely trustworthy to have in your home, and a delight to work with. As a side FYI-he and his team performed all price quotes and work in our home without anyone ever being there! I trust him that much! This one is a “no-brainer”…there is no one I could recommend more.

First of all, the owner, Joe, a very kind and personable gentleman, showed up on time ! We walked around the house, showed him what we wanted done…and he pointed out that the azec facia and other boards, installed by another contractor, had to be painted..( I was told no maintenance ever..well, thats not true. Thank goodness Joe pointed it out…seams, nail heads were never filled…he fixed it ) His painter was phenomenally precise ( just what you want when painting ) and a very congenial, trustworthy gentleman. I enjoyed watching him use the brush…Wow !! When he painted my shutters, he laid them out on ladders, on top of a tarp, instead of the usual “lean it against a tree”.. I am beyond satisfied with their expertise, I think the quote was very reasonable…when I forgot to add one window, it was no problem….he just adjusted his schedule to complete that window..they are quite a team, and will be using them, in the future, for interior work….Please take the time to look at the pictures displayed on the website, to see the jobs they have done..they are not just painters.…as in “and more”… Great job ! They had to sand & prep stained wood trim, work around flooring work, painted 11 closet interiors & bifold doors, and did extra work for a reasonable price, or none at all. Thoroughly enjoyed working With Mr Painting and more… We started with having our cabinets painted. The painters did a fantastic job and we’re very respectful and polite. The backsplash tiling was next in the job was completed to our satisfaction. Lastly we had our hardwood floors stained and again, the outcome was excellent. Joe is very responsive to our questions and concerns, and followed through with them in a very timely manner. Joe and his crew did an amazing job painting the entire interior of my house-all of the trim work and doors were stained wood which I wanted painted white plus the walls. Joe and his guys sanded, primed and painted everything quickly and well. It looks amazing! I also had Mr. painting paint a vanity in a bathroom and it looks like a whole new room. They also installed new wall to wall carpeting in the bedrooms. My house looks brand new. I’d recommend Mr. Painting and More without hesitation. They are efficient, do excellent work, kept me updated on the progress and it was a very fair price. Five stars!

Joe and his team did a wonderful job on or home .Our home is a 1960s ranch that needed a cosmetic uplift .Mr Painting and More was hired to paint the exterior and interior of the house and to refinish the floors. We had originally decided to stain the floors a different color but Joe suggested to keep the natural white oak floors in their original color and add a clear polyurethane finish - we are glad we listended to him - the floors look fantastic.Since Joe and his team did such a nice job with the painting and floors we decided to extend our engagement . His electrical team ( led by Alex ) installed a set of ten (10 ) recess lights in theliving room and kitchen areas . The lights add a modern touch to the house and we love the look . Joe suggssted this and again we are glad we listened - it makes a huge difference .On a whim I asked Joe if he could install a cupola ...his team had it done in just a few hours and it adds more curbside appeal.Joe is a wonderful guy. He is a positive, upbeat personality and easy to work with on a day to day basis . Joe and his crew worked their magic on our 3-season room. It is truly gorgeous now thanks to their efforts to create the room as it should have been when my partner and I moved onto our new home. Joe and his crew repaired the cracked, gouged and chipped tongue and groove panels of the walls and ceiling, plus they sanded all undersides of the window sills that had been left unsanded. They also caulked all the gaps between the panels. Great caulking job. The walls and ceiling originally had one coat of a stain that permitted the knots in the wood to ooze yellow through the one coat. The crew primed all the walls and ceiling and then painted the entire room. They did a fantastic job and Joe returned promptly to do some very minor touchup for us. The whole crew was very professional, hardworking and perfectionists.

OK, I contracted Junior to do a test run, a small job involving the cathedral ceilings of my Cape home; he and his crew were awesome. Have expanded them to do (at different times) the entire exterior of the house, a bathroom, fencing, and trim work. I have even used them to do emergency basement repainting after a renter flooded a basement. At all times the work was done on time and on budget, with no nonsense or drama. They show up on time, work hard to minimize the interruption to my property, and leave the home as they found it. Simply put, they provide a level of service that is uncommon on the Cape.

I don’t typically take the time to write a review but in this case I am honored to do so.Joe from the very beginning until the very end was exceptionally superb!.Let’s face it, these are uneasy times, and bringing anyone into the home right now is a little unsettling. But Joe put all of my concerns to rest immediately. He showed up with a mask, with booties for their shoes. All of his guys were young in good shape and very friendly and very professional.I have a home in Yarmouth that I needed some painting done on the walls in the stairwell. I called him on Monday two hours later he was at the house give me an estimate.Two days later the job is now complete and done.His pricing was about 20% lower than the other estimates that I got.But I would’ve been willing to pay 20% more just to have him do the job! I say that because he is friendly, personable, knowledgeable, the quality of his work is superior to many of the bigger outfit operations from the other side of the bridge.I highly recommend him and his company for any paint whether it’s interior or exterior that you need done. I’m in the process of buying another home here on Cape Cod and I’ve already promised Joe his company will get the whole project once I finish closing.There’s no better testimonial than that. To say I would have you come back again!

Unbelievable company! The remodel of our kitchen came out 10 times better than I expected. I had a vision of what I wanted, and the hit it on the head. Any minor changes I had...they did it no question ask. They have a customer for life.
