We have used Jack Berleth for 32 years and could not be happier. They have done a range of things for us-- and done each one perfectly. They are responsive, professional, amiable, respectful of our property, very reasonably priced, and truly kind. We feel very lucky to have them on our team.

Would give 6 stars if I could. They arrived at my house in under 10 minutes to respond to an emergency leak. They were able to resolve the issue quickly and effectively mitigated what could have been a disastrous situation. Always friendly and they take the time to explain the services they are providing. Theres nobody better.

They have earned every 5 star review they get. To start with, they are fast, efficient and reasonably priced. The plumbers are all incredibly knowledgeable and expert in their field. My parents used them for years and every time the plumbers fixed the problem with minimum fuss. Their customer service is standout. I know this review sounds boilerplate but it really isnt . Its just that everything they promise they deliver on, and how rare is that in this day and age? A huge thanks to everyone at Berleth!

Found Jack Berleth on the Navien website. They are hands-down the best plumbing company I have ever used. Had a Co2 leak that no other plumber identified. They found it immediately then rearranged their schedule to replace my boiler system so I wouldn’t be without heat/hot water. The owner (Steve) even brought me space heaters on a Saturday to use while I was without heat.. They had to come back because my old piping was not compatible with the new system so they spent another half day at no charge making things right. I will never use another company for my plumbing needs. Best experience ever! Thanks Steve, Kieran, and Judy!!!

We recently had Jack Berleth and Sons remove our 65yr old heating and hot water boiler system and replace it with a new Peerless boiler and Becket burner. Additionally, a 50 gallon indirect water heater was installed to ensure that we will always have hot water. It was a big, dirty job to remove the old commercial grade combination boiler/heater that weighed more 3,000#, but Steve, Paul and their assistants were able to get this done and left the house cleaner than when they arrived. All floors and stairs were covered with drop cloths and everyone wore shoe covers, as well as face masks. Installation of the new system happened during a power outage, but Jack Berleth and Sons had their own portable generator to guarantee that the job was done on time. Our entire 4-zone heating system was connected to the new boiler with all new copper lines, valves and circulating pumps. For such a large, important home improvement we are very glad that we chose Jack Berleth & Sons. Their price was competitive with others, the job was completed on time, the basement/house was left cleaner than before, and the improved efficiency of the new system is outstanding. We highly recommend them to anyone requiring a home heating system replacement/upgrade.

The best in the business! My husband and I have used Jack Berleth & Sons for all our plumbing needs since the first day we purchased our new home. Steven Kennaugh has gone above and beyond the call of duty to assist us - we had some issues (heat, water, etc.) last year and he made sure he was there every single step of the way to ensure we were up and running. Whether he was referring us to others who can help, or doing the job himself, his expertise and advice have proven extremely beneficial to us, he is also extremely kind and the type of person you want to give your work too. His estimates/timing of work are fair and reasonable. The entire crew at Jack Berleth are professional, efficient - they have perfected their skill and this is why they have been in business for so long. We just had our pipes moved in from the outside (to avoid freezing in the winter) and the work is simply perfect. They were able to save us storage space under our sink and insulate the panels so there will be no risk of frozen pipes. Entire job completed under 4 hours - AMAZING! They are friendly, well-mannered and respectful of your property. There is no other plumbing business that can compare - they are simply the absolute best on Long Island. We cannot say enough great things.

If you like things done right, this is the plumber for you. Not the cheapest, but quality work and professional. Hired them for a number of projects, large and small. Totally happy with the results. I will not use anyone else.

Berleth is the only plumbing contractor with whom I will do business in Huntington. Yes, as some of the other reviewers have noted, they do tend to be more expensive than the market average, but their workmanship, professionalism and customer service are leaps and bounds ahead of their competitors. Not to mention, I work full-time but needed emergency plumbing repair which took over a week to complete (not in any way their fault; just a huge job). For 5 days, all I did was leave the door unlocked. Each day, they arrived on their own, set to work on their own, and left on their own (locking up the house as they left). Not a thing went missing and not a speck of dirt was to be found, but each day there was visible, significant progress on the work. It was like having magic elves helping out. At one point, to make sure it wouldnt get rained on, they even brought in a completely unrelated package that Id had delivered just because they happened to notice it sitting outside the door when the weather was turning.Put it this way; the plumbing in your home is not a place to be pinching pennies. If you want it done exactly correct the first time, with high quality materials and excellent craftsmanship, and for your home to be left spotless afterward, suck it up and pay the premium. You wont regret getting what you paid for.

My husband and I bought a house built in the 1950s that required a lot of new plumbing and a new boiler and hot water tank. Steve and Paul have always been super professional and reliable and we cannot recommend them enough! Their expertise and customer service are both top notch!

Great service!Steve really came through for us, We needed our boiler replaced and the two other companies that we spoke to told us it would be a week or two until it can be done. I called Jack Berleth after speaking to a friend that has used them for years. Steve came out to look at my boiler later that day and two days later the guys were there installing it. they did a great job and they left the boiler room spotless (they come in with booties to make sure they dont leave dirt trails on the floors. much appreciated!). thank you for your services!

These guys are not only great plumbers- they are great people and we have trusted them for multiple projects. Their work is impeccable and every single person we encounter - each and every time- has been courteous, professional and overall a pleasure to deal with.It is often hard to gauge how trustworthy someone is- we often assume people can be trusted but never have real experiences to back up our assumptions. When Jack Berleth & Sons worked on our first project (master bath plumbing) - my husband and I could not be home on one particular day. We got a good vibe from the guys initially and felt it would be ok for them to work while we were not home for a few hours. We also have a dog at home and have a Nest camera set up to check on him throughout the day. The camera is set to not record UNLESS our Nest smoke alarms go off- unique feature so you can watch your house burn down??-- Anyway. The day they were working the smoke alarm went off - presumably from the soldering, etc. I receive a notification on my phone that this is the case and check the Nest camera. My dog is freaking out and barking- hes locked in the kitchen and so upset. All of a sudden I see one of the guys race down the stairs and start comforting my dog. I heard him say its ok buddy, its ok, and watched for a few seconds. I was so touched and felt so grateful- not only did he check on him, but taking a moment to talk to him, pet him and give him comfort brought tears to my eyes. I know this has nothing to do with plumbing...and may sound a little dramatic-- but these are the type of people who we want in our home, around our family and pets! To our family, this is priceless and it is the reason we will only use Jack Berleth & Sons for all of our projects.We just finished up a whole house renovation and again their work is second to none. I have needed them for a couple emergency things that happened along the way as well - each time they have been prompt to respond and fix the issues.Thank you Jack Berleth & Sons for all you do!!!
