Marbella is an absolute gem. My wife’s grandmother had some oriental vases custom made into lamps decades ago and over time the shades deteriorated and the inner electrical and support rods fell apart. To top it off there was a fire and the lamps were man handled by a family member who then gave them to us knowing we would find a way to restore them. We checked everywhere and finally found “Lamp Repair & More”. Marbella completely rebuilt them, with new code compliant wiring and inner rods and she even sourced identical lampshades so that they are better than new and can be enjoyed and appreciated for decades to come. Her prices are very reasonable and her work ethic and attention to detail are superb. We endorse and highly recommend her and her services with great appreciation and respect. We’ll be taking more work to her soon!!

She did such a great job the rewiring worked fine and I never would have found a glass bowl for the lantern and she polished her up so she looks glorious We would have paid twice as much without thinking twice As a side note I am not a hugger but this lamp has been in my life forever and I was so happy I hugged her don’t do that she kind of didn’t like it also it’s not cool

I bought this Korean Paper lamp from South Korea about 15 years ago and it was hand-made, due to the voltage issue as we moved around the world, it quit working. I have taken this lamp to few stores to see if they can fixed it, but no one could, so Marbella (the owner of Lamp Repair and More) was my last hope. Sent her the pictures via text and she replied simply Yes, I can fixed it.She is just wonderful, she just not fixing it, she even hand paper glued it back for me. I took it in on Friday, and the next day, Marbella texted me and said It is fixed! - I couldnt believe it.I am so grateful for her and yes she was so careful and her work is excellent. I am recommending all my friends to her from now, and she hand-made the lamp shade as well. How incredible is that. She is not just an excellent electrician, she is an artist as well with details eyes.Highly recommend her to anyone!

We had a v. large porch light in which the wiring had burned out. I couldnt get it apart to try to rewire it. Replacing it would have been expensive and would have required replacing two lamps. This place had v. high ratings and we decided to try it. The quote for the repairs was very reasonable.Very happy with the work Marbella did. Not only did she rewire it and put new sockets, but she also repainted the piece of pipe where the paint had been burned by the heat of the arcing. She also cleaned the lamp so it looks new.The only downside was that the repaired fixture now looks much better than the fixture that did not burn out and we are going to have to try to clean that one now.

One light of a 3-light kitchen chandelier broke. We drove 40 miles to Lamp Repair & More because it was the only place I could find repair. The proprietor is friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. Had it ready earlier than estimated. A definite need in the Houston area.

I brought in a vintage arc lamp whose shade had shattered when it fell (old plastic). The shade was fixed and the lamp base was weighted down so it doesnt fall over anymore. It was a little more than I was hoping to pay, but with inflation, I wasnt surprised. It wasnt unreasonable, and Im very happy with the lamp.

Very happy with the excellent service and the very fair pricing. Brought in a lamp that we have had for 40 years or longer. It quit working after a loud pop when the lamp was turned on. The lady at the counter quoted 50$ for repair. She called me the next day and suggested a way to operate all three bulbs (1 main bulb and 2 night lights) from 1 switch instead of two.I told her yes to whatever she thought was best. Originally she quoted the time for repair about 12 days due to the holidays. Out lamp was ready in less than a week and she charged exactly what she originally quoted.There will be absolutely no hesitation to return to Lamp Repair and more with any lamp we have that needs repair.

Outstanding service. I brought in a brass chandelier with a broken arm and they welded it back together, replaced several sockets and sleeves, polished it, and packaged it to be transported, all in a short time frame. Cant say enough good things. I have another chandelier that needs rewiring, and I will be bringing it here, a 5 hour drive, but worth it for such excellent craftsmanship, and friendly service!

Heres what Marbella did for my family. I have a brass floor lamp with a mogul socket and three chandelier sockets and a white glass shade. Its been in my family since the 1920s but it didnt work and looked ugly (toned with age, stained with dirt and smoke, rusted bottom plate and other problems). She -- by her own hands -- polished all surfaces without damaging the metal, rewired all four sockets, removed, de-rusted and painted with primer the base so the lamp wouldnt short, and helped me select a silk shade to complement the look. I am even leaving out other wonderful details of her work for the sake of brevity. The lamp looks more attractive than I ever remember it did 50 years ago when I was a child. And all for a reasonable price. I will bring other lamps to Marbella because of her care and expertise.

I have 4 antique matching lamps from my mom. They have nightlights inside the body in addition to the actual lightbulb so they are precious to me and more complicated than a normal lamp. I am so grateful to have it fixed quickly and inexpensively. The first time I went, Siri misdirected me. Since i drove in from work in Katy, it was approaching closing time so I called. Gail came out, waved me in while giving my directions. Needless to say i have been back already with another project!

I had 2 very old Japanese porcelain lamps that had needed repair for some time. My father had purchased them for my mom while he was in the service (approx 1950s). They needed plenty of work to make them like they originally were. Marbella fixed the porcelain; rewired them; found the right paper to line the inside of the lamp; fixed the bases; added a special way to replace the bulbs that light the insides. This for a very very reasonable amount. They turned out gorgeous - just like i remember as a kid. My mother is soooo thrilled. I am very happy that i chose Marbella to repair my lamps. Everyone should trust her.
