    I worked with Tim from Fix & Paint on two projects at my house. One was for painting the front porch and the other was for carpentry work to repair rotting wood around my shed doors and around one of the porch doors, including securing the door threshold, which was loose. Im very happy with the paint job that Fidel and team did. I also think Asuncion and his partner did a great job on my shed. However, though they repaired the patio door trim, the door threshold is still loose, a concern Ive brought to Tims attention.

    We had previously hired Fix & Paint for a few exterior repair and painting jobs in our first home and were very happy with those results so we knew we wanted to consider them for exterior work in our new home. After getting estimates from several companies, we decided to hire them again given our previous experience and their confidence in the job. We had 5 wood window sills that needed to be replaced. They replaced, added new trim and painted with in a half days work (other companies mentioned it may take them two full days). We are very happy with the work as well as the cost of the repairs and would hire them again in the future. I like other companies we’ve worked with in the past, they are also great in communicating throughout the job.

    GREAT COMMUNICATION in coordination of estimate and project dates/time. Everyone arrived promptly, even earlier than expected. The crew were VERY RECEPTIVE to fixing issues I bought to their attention while on the job. I REALLY ENJOYED the people in this company and would work with them again. HOWEVER, the quality DID NOT (VERY CLOSE THOUGH) meet expectation, given the quote is on the higher end of all estimates. One feedback: the company need to provide internal quality control.ESTIMATE is on HIGHER END: Per Copilot AI: The cost to paint a 100 square foot kitchen and a hallway can vary based on several factors, including the type of paint, the condition of the walls, and labor costs in your area. Heres a general breakdown:Cost per Square Foot: On average, professional painters charge between $2 and $6 per square foot for interior painting12. However, with higher end quote, I expect more self/company initiative.

    Top tier carpentry and painting! Our job consisted of replacement of some worn siding boards and some significant deck repair (in the high-traffic areas). The PM identified the areas, and worked with the crew to ensure everyone had eyes on. The complexity of matching the siding, the exquisite carpentry around the dormers and odd angles needed...everything was seamless (both in the literal and figurative). They built a new stair box and replaced the stairs leading out to our driveway as well as replacing all the needed boards. The PM even called out a couple of others upon inspection, and right to work they went. Then part 2...the painting. The color match was perfection, and the work was meticulous. Trim was repainted, as well as boards that had been replaced to ensure everything was even. What a nice touch! They did everything right, keeping me informed throughout the process...Highly recommend and will be using them again soon for some interior painting work.

The painters were professional, arrived on time and did an excellent job cleaning up when finished.     Fix & Paint did an excellent job of applying clear coat to our newly constructed screened porch decking, posts, and pickets, especially so close to the porch screening. Their team took the extra care to make sure the screen was not affected by sealant. Also kudos for a great job on staining the new front porch columns and hanging the new cedar shutters.     The work was just beautiful. The workers showed up in a timely manner, did what was needed and was done. Clean-up was also very well done. They came, did the work and I was not at all unhappy. I know now where to go and get the work needed around my home. I tried Angi and all I got was lies from their contractor. Said he tried to contact me and could not get me. I was home from work and lost 8 hours of time waiting on him. With other work to be done, they missed out. Who is the dummy now.

    I do not write a lot of reviews but I do want to share my experience with the carpentry and painting experts. We worked directly with Bill from the start, he reviewed our needs and was very professional but also casual about providing a detailed quote. There was no pressure at all to obtain the painting work from Bill. We had to delay the work by a few months when I reconnected with Bill he honored his previous quote , this was very professionally handled. Again never felt any pressure. When painting day arrived Bill had checked in with us a few days before and gave complete guidance on anything we needed to remove from the walls or furniture that needed to be moved. This was a big job almost the entire inside of the house was to be painted, we were limited on where the furniture should go, Bill assured us that his team would take care of everything and the furniture would be moved, covered and protected… it was.We went on vacation during this big paint job and Bill kept us posted on the progress. Bill is more than a salesperson he is someone you can count on throughout the entire process. Outstanding communication! When we returned from vacation the job was 100% complete… in time! The furniture was all back in place, the crew had cleaned up afterwards. Not a drop of paint on the hardwood floors. The drywall patching on a few seams looked flawless. Overall I am extremely happy with the work that was completed at our home. The no haggle pricing made this an affordable way for us to go on this project. I would recommend Bill and his team if you are looking for a team that delivers on there promises, have affordable pricing and uses quality name brand materials this might be the team for you. This was a great experience.

    I found an advertisement in the Reach Magazine for the Carpentry and Painting Experts. I contacted the office and setup an appointment with Mr. Velev. I found him to be honest, very organized and professional. I showed him what needed to be repaired in the utility room ceiling, porch ceiling and the trim around the home. Mr. Velev advised me of the process and he explained in detail what needed to be done, he is organized, honest, dress for the job and the project was completed on time.The worked to the ceilings was done extremely well.     We had an excellent experience with an extensive painting project -- nearly the entire interior of our home, as well as our front porch and shutters. Although it took the 3-person crew two weeks to complete the project, we were thoroughly satisfied with their prep work (which included minor drywall repairs and caulking trim and windows), care in moving furniture, neatness, and, of course, the quality of their workmanship. They were responsive to our questions and accommodating to our requests. In addition, Bill, a supervisor, stopped by several times each week to ensure that we were satisfied with the work being done. All communications were handled professionally. All in all, the work went extremely smoothly and we are highly satisfied with our decision to select Fix & Paint to do this work.

    Our experience with this company was very good. Professional, no slip-ups, well planned, clear expectations etc. The Team used was out of Fredericksburg, Bob and his son. They were very accommodating, pleasant and easy to work with. We enjoyed having them work in our home. They came when they said, and were efficient and always careful inside. Our sales person (1st contact) Johnny was friendly and had all the info and advice we needed. He followed up with us on the 1st day of work as well to make sure all was properly setup and going well. We believe this was indeed a good option over tearing out current cabinetry and replacing with new cabinetry. Both in less construction mess, and much more money that would be spent on new cabinetry.

    Fix and Paint was very thorough and did a very good job on my siding fixing project. They had their carpenters come one day to fix all the siding that needed to be replaced and the painters came the next. I also liked the fact that more pieces were changed after the work had begun. Sometimes it is hard to see if a piece needs to be changed on a second story from the ground. Tim (project manager) was very good at informing me of the extra work and did a change order at a reasonable price. The painters did an excellent job making everything match and the final product looks great.

    We absolutely love Fix & Paint! They stand behind their work and will do whatever it takes to make things right. We had a brand new driveway installed the same day as work was being done replacing and painting our siding, which they has said ahead of time, would be no problem. However, one of their employees had an accident: tripped and dropped light colored paint over the foundation plants, aggregate walkway, and worst of all, the new asphalt! Jordan of Fix & Paint called our asphalt contractor himself, and found out how to correct the problem. They made it all as good as new again! Incredible customer service!! Weve used them for years and will again!

    Im very happy with my experience with Fix & Paint. Tim did a great job managing my project and understanding what I needed done. I had started a DIY project to hang double folding doors in my home office, but I wasnt able to get them aligned properly no matter what I tried. The carpenters at Fix & Paint were able to fix the problem and now the doors look great and function well. They also installed hardware and hung another slab door in an existing doorway. Im also very pleased with the results of the painters who did a complex job on French doors using specialty paint. All of the workers were prompt and very respectful of my home. My new doors look like they belong in the house. I would definitely work with Fix & Paint again in the future.

    Working with Fix & Paint was a seamless process! I called to setup a time for them to come out to our house to provide a free quote to have our window shutters painted. I received the formal quote via email, paid a deposit online, and then received a second email proposing a date to have the work done, which was just two weeks later! Tim was the project manager and he took care of everything! He had the exterior paint color matched at Sherwin Williams and provided all of the other materials required to complete the job. Two very polite gentleman showed up the day of, used a ladder to reach all three floors, and were done applying two coats of paint in just a few hours. The shutters look brand new again! I highly recommend working with Tim and the crew at Fix & Paint!

    Fix & Paint did a great job preparing and applying stain to our deck and stairs. They were prompt in providing an accurate estimate. The contractors took care in preparing the surfaces, covering the siding and other surfaces, sanded and applied the appropriate amount of stain that was needed to cover and protect the deck and stairs. They cleaned up and removed all debris.

    After several unsatisfactory attempts to locate a company to replace portions of our fifty-year-old siding and to paint the exterior of our home, we contacted Fix & Paint. On the initial visit with us, we learned our original Masonite siding was no longer available, and we were presented with various options. We had definite ideas about what we wanted, including the original Williamsburg colors, which required Fix & Paint to have these colors formulated since the paint manufacturer no longer carried our color choices. To further maintain the traditional look, we requested shutters with hardware that would match our six-over-nine pane windows. Throughput each step, their Regional General Manager, John Nelson provided expert advice to help us in our selection process and supervision of our project. The painting and final trim were expertly completed by Hector and his crew. Hector went to great efforts to ensure that we were totally satisfied with the results.     Our house needed replacement of some deteriorating siding and trim as well as the painting of the replacement siding and trim. I received a professional, reasonable estimate. There was a month backlog between payment and start of the carpentry. I took that as a good sign.... other customers are using their services. As promised the carpentry work took two days. Some additional boards needed replacement and that was accomplished and worked into the contract. After the carpentry, the painting happened a few days later and was completed as promised in less than one day. We are happy with our choice of the carpentry and painting experts llc for our exterior repairs.

    This work was related to another project going on at the same time. Ours is a 30-year old house which is sided with that artificial siding that was popular years ago (essentially sawdust that is glued and sealed with some sort of resin) that eventually just rots away, and as expected, much of it has begun to rot away. The Fix and Paint folks have repaired/replaced/repainted this stuff as needed, over the course of about 15 yers now (I suspect that probably half of the house has now been redone). They have used quality materials and have applied them in a quality manner. None of the work they have done has ever had to be re-done, I wish they had done the original construction work.I recommend them wholeheartedly.

    This team is phenomenal! I used them a couple of time on different parts of my house to repair the siding. The work was so efficient it made me feel like I could do it myself...but of course, I cant! But thats how quick they were and it was an impeccable job.     I cant say enough positive things about this company - EVERYONE was professional and polite. The office staff walked us thru the whole process and answered all my silly questions! The estimator was at our house within days of us reaching out to them. The actual work began within a few weeks (other companies were telling us MONTHS). The team that painted our house showed up on time and just couldnt have been more courteous and easy to work with. They cleaned up each night before going home which made the whole process so much easier. We had a few spots that needed touching up and they were back at our house within hours of us calling.     We really appreciated the hard work and we think your company did a good job for us. Just one thing, for us the job included getting up on our roof to get to a dormer, some pieces of the job paint particles and some piece fragments of the materials used were left on the roof. There was not a real good clean up job when done, but a few days later the rain pretty much took care of cleaning the roof. This may be addressed to the workers for next time, we plan to use your company in the future.Thanks.

    Excellent service. Quick to respond to a call for an estimate and the estimate completed in less than 48 hours. The work was schedule quickly. All the materials were as asked for and the the quality or workmanship was also excellent. The was very good supervision and works completed their assignments on time and professionally, as expected. The estimate and final cost were very reasonable for the work done. That included drywall repair, painting, debris removal, putting down underlayment, new flooring, replacement baseboard and quarter round, and painting. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

    We had them come out and give us a quote on building out our attic to a multipurpose room. Thats when we met Bill Kohl. As a project manager for other areas, I can tell you Bill is one of the best. He listens then advises. We came up with a plan and received a quote that I felt was very proper. We scheduled the work and from there it was perfection. The carpenters were here on time masks, drapes and ready to work, finished framing in the HVAC closet and clothes closet, then moved on to drywall, done in two days. Painters came (added service) room painted and ready to go. Bill followed the progress and was flexible with changes. I cannot recommend highly enough the company the service or the product.     II was very pleased with the service provided by this company. from Bill Kohl coming out and discussing the estimate with me to the having his Company work with my gutter Company to replace my gutters. I had them perform trim,siding,soffet and facia work before the painting and gutter work and they worked exceptionally well with the outside gutter company from a timing aspect.     The Carpentry and Painting Experts were great to work with and did a really fine job. I mostly appreciated that Bill was willing to come out and discuss change of scope to help get the cost down. Also, when they found a fascia board that needed to be removed and replaced they called and offered a change order, with the price to fix it and brought the change order over to be signed. They were true to the estimate given, other than the one change order.

From the first call to me calling about scheduling, the office never answered the phone the first time calling and they never returned my phone call if I left a message.If you want to talk with someone at the office you have to call over and over.The guy that handled scheduling was not communicative either and I had to call each day to ask for a window.The powerwasher did not put drop cloths down to protect our plants. The chemicals killed some grass and hurt two bushes.The carpenters got the gate on our porch out of alignment and didnt latch properly. They also could have nailed down the loose nails in the areas they didnt rework. While not technically in the contract I didnt think I had to mention every little thing. They could have gone the extra mile and hammered the loose nails down. It would not have cost them anything and would have taken 5 minutes.ConclusionAfter bringing my couple of issues up with them, they did work with me to address my concerns in a professional way. While perfection is not always possible, its nice working with a company that is willing to hear their customers. Ive been ghosted by contractors before and can say that they are honest.The work they did is good. They did everything we needed and it was nice using one company instead of 3. The office does need to improve their communication skills. Overall, I would use them next time.

    Primary bathroom with separate water closet, 10’ high ceilings. I’ve painted many of the rooms in my home but high ceilings are extra work, especially bathrooms with a tight space such as the water closet. This was such a big help to have someone else do this part of my home. It looks great! …About a week later, my shutters were painted. The project was delayed due to rainy weather & an unforeseen emergency of the assigned painter. However, Valentin & Keonda kept me informed of what was going on & change of dates. The shutters look very nice. If you have shutters on your home, don’t overlook the importance of how nice they’ll look with a fresh coat (2 coats) of paint.
