    Highfill did an amazing job with our recent interior painting. I would highly recommend them for your next painting job. They were at our house from Monday through Friday, and we were still living at home while they were painting. Matt and team were all very professional from start to finish, and the crew was very respectful of us and our home. When there was an issue with the tinting of the paint in the middle of the job, Talon, the project manager, brought a new gallon out that same day so there was no delay, and he walked through with us each day to see if there were any issues. Nick, Anthony and Paola were very efficient in getting everything prepped and painted, and they quickly addressed any places we pointed out. They did a lot of work in the stairwell and it looks brand new! Their work was neatly done and they cleaned up each day. Great job!

    Highfill painting saved the day! I recently had our fireplace painted and we were not happy with the outcome from the previous painter. Matt came in and gave a quote and a bunch of information that helped put my mind at ease with getting this corrected! We even decided to paint my library. I told him I had a time crunch due to a family gathering happening in a week and he was able to squeeze me in.Ryan, Brian, and Isabella were amazing! They were very detail oriented with this job and made sure to even fix the damage drywall the prior painter had messed up. They were patient and waited for the paint to dry before having me take a look and approve of the project.Talon was the project manager and he was very insightful and made sure that all material was ready to go even with the speedy timeline of my project.I could not recommend them enough!     I looked at several painters and chose Highfill because of quality, price and customer service. Accent walls were done perfectly with Lenny and Isabella arriving on time and helping even with moving a king bed. We then had kitchen cabinets, island and pantry cabinets done. We are so pleased with the outcome. Talon was the PM on both projects and was checking in constantly. We especially appreciated the updates and photos when the cabinets were being done as we were out of the country. A totally trustworthy and professional crew for each project. The cabinet work required extensive prep to ensure walls and other surfaces were protected during painting. Again, SO appreciated. Matt has a well run team and process to include Paige in the office. Always responsive and accommodating. We are considering having the rest of the house repainted in the future and Highfill will definitely be our choice again for this project. I highly recommend them to others for paint projects.

    We brought in Highfill Painting to do some interior painting. They were very enthusiastic and professional. Even though there were initially some problems with our quote, they handled it well and we felt comfortable proceeding.     Highfill Painting LLC are THE BEST! Being a first time homeowner, with no prior experience of house projects and renovations, Highfill Painting made it all go so seamlessly. They are impressively prompt with their response to your requests! Friendly, professional and proactive are few of the positive words that I can use here for now to describe their work ethics! They certainly set a very high bar of professionalism and punctuality! They estimated our project to completed by no later than 2 days and they finished it in a day and a half! Did I forget to mention the impressive transparency that they practice when communicating every lil detail from the beginning to the end of the project? Also, they clean up your place daily before wrapping up the day! Walls were the only witness that yes a paint job has been done else there wasn’t a single spot of any paint spill or dust anywhere!     We are very pleased with the results of our recent exterior house painting with Highfill Painting. We had some very specific requests for the painters, and they met them all beautifully. The team worked very hard - and each day, all equipment and materials were packed and stored neatly, out of our way. The cedar siding on our 40+ year old home looks amazing - and the Sherwin Williams paint they used has a beautiful finish. We especially liked having an assigned Project Manager, who checked in with us several times each day during the project, to be sure everything was going well. He also did a thorough walkthrough with us afterward. We feel good about the warranty that comes with the job.

    I admire the energy put in by the owners of this company to build a strong reputable business in the Richmond region. We had our share of mishaps one might expect from using a company for the first time. My previous painters retired/the good ole boys who started painting with their fathers & uncles at a young age who knew first hand from 50 years of experience what works & what doesnt.I am very glad we were at our house during the process. Power washing could have been a problem otherwise.We were told by the Project Manager that a broken vent cover on the house was already broken & a second one cracked before the painters started but they would repair it for an additional cost. This came down to owner said contactor painter said. It looked ok before the job & I was beginning to be glad the company owner who presented the job to me had taken a lot of pictures before work started. The broken vent on the ground was replaced, the cracked one remains. My thought is the vents may have broken during power washing since the painters were adamant they didnt.Other than that distasteful event (I felt like I was being accused of lying), the team wanted to be sure we were satisfied. The power washer hit a shaded 6 stretch of wood fencing that had mildew above & beyond the contract. I appreciated that. I personally picked up more scraped off paint from the ground from prep than I would have liked but I knew the prep was good. And a gate was not secured that allowed my dogs to escape.Bottom line is make your contract as clear as you can. Be at your home while work is progressing. Quality of workmanship is totally fine. Take pictures yourself of before project.I would also like to point out that Matt was good enough to itemize our quote. Since I needed to get the total amount down this helped me cut some of the work Id hope to have done to accomplish that.I would hire the company again. A 5 for me would indicate no problems or blips at all. (My previous team painted inside while I was on vacation.) This project did not reach that level of confidence but their bottom line seems to be to make sure I am satisfied which I am.

    Great communication; we were assigned a job coordinator who came in person and called multiple times to ensure we were happy with the progress and the job overall. Painting team were very considerate (minimizing time our doors had to be open, ensuring our gate was closed so our dogs didnt get out; putting up with our nosy dogs!). They went above and beyond patching a door before painting (patching that door was not part of the job). Second time using Highfill - certain we will be using again.

    I would highly recommend Highfill painting. We recently renovated our Hall bathroom and they came in and completed some drywall repair in the ceiling and then painted the entire bathroom. Highfill quoted us 2-3 days which is exactly how long it took for their workers to complete the job, they took great care in covering and moving furniture and were very friendly.     I’m extremely pleased with the cabinet doors painted by Highfill Painting. Since I was only having some of the doors repainted, it was extremely difficult for Hillfill to match to the other doors due to a glacé trim on the doors, which required a special process.     We hired Highfill to paint two rooms in our house, one of which needed to be painted from floor to ceiling including trim. The other room was basically all cut in work (laundry room with cabinets). So not 2 super easy jobs. They did a really good job. Very clean and professional and finished everything in one day. The only reason I took off 1 star was because they did take a while to schedule us. I was okay with being scheduled further out - I just wanted a date so that I could pack, clean, etc. We didnt get a lot of notice and had to shift our date forward because of it.
