    We were out of town when my husband and I got a call that our water was not working. Once we got home and assessed the situation, we realized our water softener had failed and our pipes were clogged. We put out a call to Roto-Rooter and they came out the next morning.Ashley was the salesperson we worked with. She sat with us and gave a thorough explanation of the water softener system, warranty information and what the company could offer us. We decided on their system and a call was put out to Brian.The system we needed was not available in house, so Brian went out of his way to the warehouse to get the one we needed. Once he got here, not only was he kind but worked tirelessly. I was suffering from a migraine with the stress of it all and he was kind of enough to gently close the door behind him whenever he had to come in the room- it was a kind gesture that was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the pipes were worse off than we thought, which meant he would have to get creative in order to clear them out. He ended up having to come back out twice (at no fault of his) and did so with professionalism, good energy and worked hard to get our home up and running. He even asked me if I was feeling better.Roto-Rooter has gained a long time customer in us due to this positive experience. We appreciate Brian- and he’s been here so many days that he’s now extended family.

    PICTURE THIS:It is 11pm on a SUNDAY night and you’ve just busted a water pipe. As you are holding the hole down and your husband is going to shut off the main water line, you’re thinking ahead and wondering what hell you just got yourself into.You call your usual plumbing service and to your dismay, they say that they’ll send out your info and *hopefully* someone will be able to come and help you…which never happened.You call Roto Rooters and INSTANTLY you are told that someone will come by within half an hour to look and provide an estimate. *open wide eyes* WOW. Indeed, a supervisor came by, looked at the issue and told us that he’d contact someone who would get in touch with us.In comes CODY, calling us a little after 12am and letting us know that he’s on his way! TWELVE AM folks. The sincerity we found in this guy goes above and beyond. He unfortunately didn’t have the piece on hand that we needed but he told us a time that he’d be by on Monday and HE GOT THE JOB DONE.Let alone, he travelled all the way from Canyon Lake TWICE in a 12 hour period to help us out. We couldn’t be more thankful. HOLLER at Roto Rooters & ESPECIALLY CODY if you need something fixed. If we ever need services in the future, we found our company!

    Contacted Roto-Rooter to help with our water heater issue, which turns out the 14 year old system had completely failed and needed to be replaced. The guys from Roto-Rooter were able to remove the old one and install a new one in no time. They were very professional and the work quality was very good. Thank you for your service and would recommend them to all.Contacted ROTO- Rooter again to help with a shower faucet cartridge issue. One half of the cartridge broke within the faucet causing a major issue trying to remove it. Davinder from Roto-Rooter was able to help out in removing the broken cartridge, installing the new one, and quickly turning the water back on for the house in no time . He was outstanding and very professional. I thank him and the company for all they do.

    I had great service from the Tech that was out here. They gave me a whole class. The clean up water guy ( Joe) literally answer all my questions and broke down in detail what will happen. Also, stayed here and put our mind at ease from everything happening. Than there was Plumber (Efrain) which he literally gave my wife kids and everyone a class. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable going forward. Even gave me more steps to prevent this from happening again. I do wish there was more stars I would give this company more!!!

    Roto-Rooter was great day-of my call to them. Jose came out the same morning and unclogged septic pipe. Nice rep for R-R. Stated Excavation Dept. with better camera needed to determine if their was a broken/cracked pipe causing the issue and that theyd call in the afternoon scope and provide bid. 2 days later I contacted R-R since there was no follow-up. Told someone would reach out: none to-date.

    Raphael did an outstanding job. He came on time, he had the proper tools to do the job and he knew exactly what needed to be done after he looked at the job more carefully. He saw that his initial idea about how to get the job done would not have been proper, and he made recommendations to do the job the proper way and the price was definitely reasonable. I had checked with other plumbing companies companies and rotor rooter was was in the mid range but for the job that they performed they were absolutely outstanding and was one of the best plumbing companies Ive worked with. I will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing issues that surface in the future!

    Last night I noticed a significant water leak in a location (front yard) that was recently repaired. When Tom arrived he identified the problem which involved faulty/poor repair work from the last plumber.     Although there was a misunderstanding when I called for an emergency plumbing repair Alexi from the Chicago central call center got my appointment scheduled. Davinder arrived as scheduled assessed the problem, explained what was required to fix the broken water line and got to work.     The technician Jeffrey Meares was very friendly, and completely cleaified and explained everything. Hes up beat about his work and you can see how he enjoys what does for a living. Roto Rooter is very lucky to have a technician like Jeffrey, who cares about his clients. Jeffrey replaced our old expansion tank with a new one due to a leak on the old expansion tank. Jeffrey Meares has delivered such a good service that we will be calling on for near future services.

    Had two out of three toilets flushing super slow. Called and they were here in about an hour so that was great. The other 4 plumbers either didnt answer or were a week out. He used his camera and found a blockage through our clean out. Was done in about a hhr. Would have easily been five stars but the cost seemed pretty high to me for a main clear out but i was in a bind. Cleaned it out and all water vacated easy again . Would use them again if i cant find a more reasonable price somewhere else.

    Service men arrived quickly, within 3-4 hours of the time I requested the service. They were very professional in explaining the cost, options, and service required. They worked efficiently and solved the issue with very little disruption to the rest of my lawn. Not sure if it’s the cheapest option but they’re definitely efficient and knowledgeable.

    Roto Rooter was able to send in a tech same day in the late hours of the day when we had a plumbing emergency and most other places were booked or closed for the holidays. The fixed the clog and identified the root cause of the problem using a camera in the pipe.

    I believe I called Roto-Rooter at 630am and, by 8am, there was a representative here and a technician on the way. Same day replacement of our water heater and our hot water back on by @3pm.     Brian was awesome You should have on time got everything done on a very timely manner even double checked all his work and even triple checked his work to make sure it was done and done right he didnt make a huge mess in my house and he deserves a raise cuz hes such a hard worker!!!I will certainly be using Roto-Rooter from now on their prices are a little high but its worth it because you cant trust most of the companies anymore as theyre just up for your money and not out for quality....     After posting my original review below, they reached back out and made things right. They sent two actual plumbers out (as opposed to just drain techs). They finally got the job done and there was no additional charge. Thank you Rotorooter!…..Highly disappointed. Paid over $400 to have my ac drain line cleared and unclogged. Claimed that it was clear but next day had more problems. Another guy came out and was nice but didn’t get it unclogged. Said he would have to charge $200 to re-do but still couldn’t guarantee success. They should have given my money back. I’m still left hanging. First time I’ve been disappointed by this company.

    Update: After leaving the review below, Roto-Rooter called me to apologize and send someone out to fix it, since they realized it was a missed step on their part directly related to removing the reverse osmosis system. The first phone operator I spoke to probably thought the leak was unrelated to the fix, and so failed to escalate it, but Im glad someone followed up on the review. Makes me happy, and reflects well on their company.---------A couple of months ago, I had a leak under my kitchen sink. I paid over $200 to have someone come out and fix it. The guy who fixed it was nice, and determined it was the reverse osmosis system that was leaking, so I asked him to take the whole thing out, which he did. However, ever since then, when we run our garbage disposal, dirty water sprays like a geyser from one of the pipes. When I called Roto-rooter about it, they said they didnt offer any sort of guarantee on their work, so I have had a bowl under the pipe since then to catch the gross stuff that spews when I need to run the disposal if the water is backing up in the sink. It doesnt look like a huge issue, but I dont even know what the connector is called. It looks like something the guy forgot to plug or close when he pulled out the lines.

    We called Roto Rooter when we were having issues with our sewer line backing up, causing our tubs/showers to drain slowly and water to leak out from under the toilet. They sent someone out very promptly. Dustin, tech # 3381, was extremely friendly, identified the issue quickly, and was able to resolve it and recommend next steps. He was very thorough, having us test all of our sinks, tubs and toilets as he worked to make sure everything was functioning correctly. He was also kind enough to spray our bathroom floor with antimicrobial spray afterward, since some sewage water had leaked out there as part of the original issue. We were extremely happy with the service we received and enjoyed meeting Dustin. He and Roto Rooter did a great job!

    Very friendly technicians, work was performed quickly, and they managed to remove an absolute gnarly clog from our bathtub drain, but after their clean/wipe down, you wouldnt even know they or the clog were there at all.     Im normally a DIY guy, but after days of trying i finally gave in and called a plumbing service and it truly was the right call. The Tech came in very professional and cared for the job at hand, was very pleasant to talk to. He gave me a price which was reasonable. He took his time and found the issue and took care of it. They also offer a 30 day guarantee which is great incase it backs up again. So no more bucket under the sink !

    The technicians who came out (Jesse and co) were great. Very quick and professional. If they were the only people I dealt with, would have been five stars. However, getting the company itself was difficult. Originally scheduled for 4pm to 8pm window. No technicians were sent. Called at 8pm and was assured that they would be sent soon. At 10pm I called and rescheduled for the 9am-1pm window the following morning. At 745am, I was called to say the technicians were on their way, about 30min out. I had to leave work early and then no one showed up. I finally went outside around 930 and found my technicians who were trying to get in contact with their company to get my contact info as they couldn’t find my unit number. I had also been trying to get ahold of their company, and all the calls were dropped. Jesse was great, would hire him again in a heartbeat, but the Roto-Rooter company will not be used.

She was super friendly and professional and talked us through the whole process. She was very transparent about the pricing and gave us good advice to avoid future issues.     We had a leaky faucet which we attempted to fix ourselves. The cartridge would not come out all the way. This was in the late afternoon when we tried to call three different companies that advertised emergency help. We needed emergency help because we had to shut the water off in order to do the repair. None of these companies were able to take care of our problem today. We called Roto-Rooter Plumbing and had our service technician, Chris Bernal, at our door within two hours. Chris was cheerful, introduced himself and went straight to work. he expressed knowledge of the problem and the solution and went straight to work. The problem was fixed within thirty minutes and our leak is gone.

    Rafael was an amazing tech when he came to replace an older toilet! Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, and worked around my work schedule to do the job.     Emergency plumbing needed. Water back up from clog and broken flanges on upstairs toilets. Major flood. Roto Rooter was here in 30 minutes. Was able to move clog that night and the next day the water restoration folks showed up for drying out & clean up. Over the next few weeks we have had 3 flanges installed under toilets, complete hydro jet of the downstairs main line and the restoration team cleaned and dried us up and brought in a contractor to give us bids on putting us back together. There was a hick up along the way but they made it right. Their techs are knowledgeable and respectful. I was able to get a good understanding of our problems and what the costs to us were before the work was done. Most is paid by insurance but a couple of items we needed to pay for and they worked with us to get this all done. Great people & communication.

    The first tech was very lazy. I paid $244.00 for him to change a washer in my bathtub faucet. After job was completed he mentioned it would leak again cause of another part that it needed which was a seat. I told him he could have mentioned that before he changed out washer. So he was leaving and I stated that it was still leaking he stated that I had to tighten it real hard. So I did and still leaking. By that time he left. Call back tech George Rangel had good customer service and listened to me. He knew I was upset due to 1rst tech. He took the time and and got the seat and changed out both hot and cold seats.     Last night I found a large puddle under my kitchen sink and this morning I set up an appointment for Roto-Rooter to come out this afternoon. It’s the first time I’ve ever used them, or any emergency plumbing repair shop, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.Joe arrived during the appointment window (wearing a mask) and was friendly and professional. He quickly identified the problem and let me know exactly what needed to be done. I had a clogged sewer line and a vent pipe that was disconnected from the sanitary tee for my kitchen sink drain. Although this was an invasive repair, the hole cut into the wall was kept to the minimum necessary and Joe purposely minimized the amount of dust generated. It was obvious both in talking with him and in the result that he genuinely cared about his work.I’m very glad I contacted them and will contact them again in the future when, inevitably, another plumbing emergency comes up.

I manage a large 208 unit property and we had laundry room pipes bursting on 46 of the residents patios.     The plumbing in our house began to progressively back-up over the course of a few months. It started with the washing machine drain backing up, then it was the kitchen sink, and finally it was the upstairs shower and sink. After a sour experience with a plumber friend of a friend of a friend called in to address and fix the washing machine, we moved on to Roto-Rooter to help us.I want to thank Joe Galindo (Licensed Plumber) for his fast service when your kitchen sink failed us. He had it unblocked in under two hours from first call. When I called him a few weeks later because of the upstairs shower, he came right over and spent all day working to get it repaired. The repair ultimately identified that all the issues we were having were related due to the pipes in the foundation cracking. Excellent plumber and went above and beyond to help repair our issues.Victor Espinoza (Project Specialist) and Michael Montoya (Water Restoration Estimator) were brought in to assess the repairs needed and were very quick and professional. Michael Montoya brought his team in quickly to clean, dry out, and test the bathroom of any hazardous matter associated with the overflow of water. He brought in an industrial dehumidifier and air scrubber which saved the bathroom from and extensive and costly overhaul.Victor Espinoza was the ultimate saving grace. He spent the next month personally helping us file our insurance claim for the plumbing repairs under house foundation. He would take the time to answer any question, at any time, and would regularly assist with any issues or information my insurance provider needed as the repairs progressed. He was incredibly personable and professional with us and I cannot thank him enough. Ultimately, his hard work managing the repairs throughout is was what helped ensure that we were covered by insurance when the repairs proved much more extensive than first thought as more and more piping under the house was found to be cracked and without any form of drop (resulting in all the backups). We were able to get around 90% of our plumbing completely replaced with absolutely minimal out-of-pocket expenses. His customer-first approach was truly appreciated and ensured work was done correctly (unlike the original work in the house), quickly, and without exceeding the pace of insurance approvals so we would not find ourselves stuck with out-of-pocket repairs if insurance decided to say no. In addition to all the work done, the COVID-19 pandemic undoubtedly made work much more difficult, but Victor made sure that all repairs were done external to the house and well away from my kids (one of whom is high risk). Excellent customer service from Victor...Thank you!

He was actually here to correct work a previous plumber with rotorooter had done. I would never have used rotorooter again after my experience with the first plumber. He replaced a water heater and failed to do it to code. My house is for sell and upon inspection it failed because of his work. I called rotorooter and they sent Joe the next day with no charge for any of the corrections to previous work. Other issues were found that were significant and Tim Cracken the manager helped me out on the additional pricing. They were wonderful to me at a time of great stress.     Our main drain backed up on late Friday night, pushing water up through tubes and toilets. We called Roto-Rooter around 9:30 and said they could have technician out in an hour. Our technician was Justin G., he was awesome. He explained what was causing the back up, what option we had and explained what would be done prior to work. He was professional, honest,kind, courteous and a straight shooter. He showed the video of our pipes and advised us on thing to consider to prevent this from happening again.     Felipe was professional and courteous and welcomingly determined. While working on clearing the drain, it seemed like there may a larger problem which was prohibiting forward progress. After calling for assistance from a plumber with a snake camera, he continued to forge ahead with trying to break through the barrier with manual effort. Thankfully it was this see the challenge, overcome the challenge attitude that ultimately led to breaking through the barrier and cleaning the drain of, what I can presume was years of prior owners neglect and misuse, which appeared to be a small grocery bag full of sanitary wipes. This enabled the plumber with the snake when he arrived to easily scope the entirety of the drain confirming that the clog was removed.Thank you Felipe

    Had overflowing bathroom sink. Drain was clogged and air conditioner was draining into the clogged drain as well. Called Roto Rooter at 5:30pm and Dustin responded at 6:30. He completed the job in 30 minutes and everything was cleaned up and back in operation. Dustin was very knowledgeable and efficient with his performance. All of this happened on the afternoon of Labor Day but was handled as if was just another week day. They also handle water cleanup as well if you aren’t as lucky as I was.

    The plumber knew how to fix the fractured pipe near out water meter. Our water was turned on very quickly. He took care to put the grass back in place too after the project was completed.If you have broken pipes near your meter save yourself a couple hundred dollars and dig it out yourself before calling the plumber.
