I have been using ABS plumbing for over a year now and have been very happy with Steve. We needed a new hot water heater in July so he researched the company and found that we had a warranty on the water tank and was able to get a new one for us.Steve is professional, courteous, neat, prompt and reasonable. I always read reviews, but very rarely write them. Our experience with Steve from ABS Plumbing has been exceptional, so I want to recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled plumber.Steve has done three jobs for us in the last month. We got new countertops installed in our kitchen, and because of an issue with the gas line, the counter demo team asked that I call a plumber for help. Luckily, I found ABS Plumbing. Steve was able to come out within 90 minutes, so there was no delay in the demo.Once our counters were installed, Steve came back to hook our faucet and dishwasher back up, as well as install a new garbage disposal. Once we got the parts for our new stovetop, we called him a third time. Steve hooked the gas back up to our stove, and completed the LP conversion.Steve is reliable, knowledgeable and a great problem solver. He is the only plumber we will use and recommend going forward.

My 2nd time working with Steve as I saw ABS got great reviewed and office is very close to me. In my area several plumber shops were all bought out by private equity and they charge insane price.Steve helped me change both expansion tanks for the boiler and for the hot water tank. He also helped me found the pressure reducing valve has gone bad after almost 20 years of life. He changed it for me and helped to set up the water pressure for the systemI would call Steve again for my future plumbing repairs

I am truly lucky I found Steve and ABS Plumbing. This man is a rockstar! I recently bought a new house in Hawthorne I thought was move in ready but was not after diving deeper into the plumbing. Every time I opened a door there was a new issue. I found Steve through a google search and reading some reviews. I am so glad I made the choice to give him a call. Not only is there no plumbing issue he cant handle. But he even patched up my celling after my electrician ran wiring for recessed lighting. Now the house is move in ready and my wife and I are very happy. I called her today to let her know that Steve was coming by Saturday for payment. She was upset that she has to work and said I havent met him but I feel like we should invite him and his wife over for dinner sometime for everything he has helped us with. So Steve any time you would like to come by for dinner just let me know.

I found Steve and ABS Plumbing from a Google search. Although I saw his companys name on his company van in the neighborhood, I never worked with him before. Well, I think I found the plumber and the plumbing company I needed for years. I first called him mid-afternoon, Steve and his partner showed up at the end of the day. They identified the problem and scheduled a very timely fix to my plumbing issues. They did a great, true professional job with a reasonable price. I told Steve that I need to replace some of my faucets when I return from my vacation. I highly recommend him and his company if you need a great, professional and responsive plumbing work done!

I found Steve on Google and the reviews attest to his professionalism and courteous manner. Hes very dedicated to his work. I called him for a leak to fix because a shoddy plumber setup my kitchen plumbing with cheap parts and baffling piping. Steve told me to get that paid plumber back and fix this. He replaced a worn washer. If a leak happens again, I know who to go to for replacing my piping.. Im not going to deal with shoddy plumbers again

He responded to my call for help immediately…arrived as scheduled and was very friendly, well-informed and highly skilled and professional. He went into action immediately to solve a long standing leak problem that no one else could figure out. He is definitely a “plumbing problem solver” - I felt confident from the first moment that he would figure out our leak problem…and he didn’t leave until it was identified and fixed completely! In addition, I liked the fact that he has a contractor he works with who was able to repair the damage our leak had caused. I have already recommended Steve to my friends and I am so happy that he’s my plumber!

Update Another issue in our house and as usual Steve to the rescue. Bunch of work he had to do and cant complain with his professionalism. Replace water meter and faulty pressure reducing valve, added pick up for irrigation , added expansion tank to the water heater plus materials. And OMG ... as usual his quote is a lot less than expected. He is so well rounded.Prior review: Desperate to find a plumber on a Sunday when the valve under the sink was leaking. I called 2 plumbers and will charge $225 just for coming over because its a Sunday plus the service. So I came across 3 reviews in Nextdoor App which was raving about Steve (ABS Plumbing) being not cheap but reasonable, prompt, professional and reliable. When it involves plumbing , we dont mess around to look for cheap. So we called Steve , left a message on his voicemail. In half an hour got a call back. He asked us to take a picture and send it to him. Since we didnt take a good picture , he said he is coming over. We asked how much for coming over for consult , he said zero and then will charge later after seeing first what needs to be done. We are ready to pay between $500-$600 because thats our prior experience for this service. Then he arrived in half an hour and started working . He was under the small sink , space is really tight and we just couldnt imagine how hard it was for him to do the fixing. Then he finally finished. When he told us his price, his fee is not even half of what we are expecting considering of what he has gone through. For the impeccable service and emergency visit on a Sunday, I couldnt praise him enough. So highly recommended. Look no further!

They went out of their way to make the process as minimally invasive as possible, which made patching things back up much easier than I expected. We had a leaking water valve in our equipment room develop on a Friday behind an air intake duct and other piping. Since the house is old and the plumbing is old there was no easy way to get to the pipe. ABS showed up promptly the next day after I called and explained our options to fix the issue. Steve fixed the pipe and restored our plumbing with minimal inconvenience to our weekend. An expedient repair and solution to our problem.

We called because we had a leak in our garage and didn’t know where it was leaking from. We’d never used ABS before but they came right away. They assessed the problem and determined the water was coming in from the gutter outside, not a plumbing issue. They didn’t even charge us for the visit. Amazing customer service at a point when its hard to get most trades people to even show up. We’ll definitely use them in the future!

Experience was better than expected. Called and explained the issue and wanted an estimate to repair. It was not an emergency but fortunately Steve was able to come by later in the day. It was obvious he knew what he was doing within a couple minutes and was able to fix an issue that another plumber couldnt. He gave me a cost to complete the repair. I agreed and within a relatively short period of time was able to complete the repair to my satisfaction. To summarize, I am very happy with every part of the experience.
