Even though Roberto wasn’t the one who installed my system, he was very patient with instructions and offered to register my equipment for me too. He took time to kindly teach me how to reboot it for myself and gave advice freely. I’ll definitely call him for all my future Solar service needs & will recommend him to others as well!

After discussions with other solar energy system installers, we chose RCC Solar, based on great recommendations as well as price, and it was was an impressive experience from our initial meeting, all the way to any follow-up questions that we had. The owner, Roberto Helmeyer, gave us quite an education on solar energy as well, as he is an electrical engineer. He delivered our 45 panel solar panel system ahead of schedule, supervised every step of the process, and was always responsive to our needs. We could not be more pleased with his company and our new system. Our Duke Energy bill was $12.60, their minimum administration charge, during the first month after the installation. We also get credit for the energy we put back into the grid. What a joy to see our electric meter turning backwards! Also importantly, there are significant tax credits to be earned with the installation of a solar energy system. If you are thinking about going solar,We highly recommend RCC Solar.

Thank you for reading my review. Its January 2024. I purchased a home in Anderson South Carolina that came with Solar. The company that installed it, reliable energy solutions from North Carolina after it stopped working stated we dont service your area I was on my own. I called every solar company in South Carolina for help of which I received the same answer ... We cant help you! We dont work on Schneider Electric Solar Units. I didnt give up. I called Greer South Carolina & a man named Roberto answered my call. He asked me to send photos of the error codes & inverter/charger etc. He told me how to rest my system. It didnt correct the problem but, my confidence grew, my trust grew in this man. I placed my trust in Roberto & He and his wife are so brilliant together.fixed! FIXED! If you need real truth in your solar questions, repair, knowledge South Carolina has know one at his expertise level.

RC Construction solar did an excellent install for me about 10 years ago. Something in my house changed, causing the reporting (but not production) to not get uploaded to the manufacturer. He came and helped determine is is noise on the line, and relocating equipment corrected the reporting.They are a GREAT company with whom to do business.

I think Roberto was very knowledgeable of my system in no time he had diagnosed the problems and went right to work making the repairs it wasnt long before he had the inverter back to working on line making power. RC Solar did a great job for us. He would always respond regardless of the time. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Our system is outperforming what we thought we would get. They cleaned up well and didnt leave a mess in the yard. I was concerned that my yard would get damaged carrying in the equipment but he did a great job and I cant tell that he did any damage. We would hire RC C Solar again & would always recommend them to my friends.

He installed a beautiful 12kW system and recommended the ground array to get the best output and benefit from the system. Roberto has been one of the most competent and trustworthy contractors I have dealt with in a long time. I spoke with Roberto and another larger company out of Greenville. I was quoted similar systems and Roberto was much more competitive. Roberto laid out a system and a time frame for the project. At the end of it all, Roberto and his company had provided me with a better system than we had agreed on. The work was completed in a reasonable time frame, looks nice and neat and functions as promised. One of the best things I can say, is that Roberto kept in constant communication with me. He showed up when he said he would and did the job he promised he would do. Dont be foolish and not give them a call. Excellent local company that actually cares about their customers!

RC Construction Solar installed our 7.5kW solar system in September 2016. The installation of 30 solar panels and associated equipment was completed in three days, on schedule, and in a very professional manner. Roberto, the owner, is a perfectionist and takes great care over all the details. I particularly appreciated the time Roberto took on his first visit to our house in Clemson to explain the process of getting all the necessary approvals and permits required for residential.solar systems in South Carolina even before I had selected him as my contractor. He took care of all the paperwork and the process ran very smoothly exactly as he had explained it to me. There were no surprises or problems. I would highly recommend RC Construction Solar for installation of residential solar systems in South Carolina.

Roberto installed my 5kw system back in 2015 (it is now 2022), he was incredible from start to finish. Roberto had the best price and top notch panels and microinverters. When he did the install he noticed my homes ground rod was incorrect, and I had a few dead outlets in the house, so he fixed those free of charge. He also handled all of the Duke connection and rebate paperwork, which was significant. Now 7 years down the line, I can see I have generated almost 40MWh of free electricity. At one point 3 years in, he noticed that one of my inverters was out from the report he gets each month, so he just came over and fixed it on his own accord. I have referred numerous neighbors to Roberto, some have also bought systems of their own from him. If I wanted to expand my array today, I would call him in a heartbeat.

These guys were able to resolve my issues in one day that the original company didnt take care of for 9 weeks and saved me hundreds of dollars in the process. Highly recommend.

Permits, applications, payment, installation, using the best /inverters/batteries in the industry right now (I had two other estimates done before going with this company RCC Solar and they couldnt be beat on price, service and warranty). Best of all, they were ALL so genuinely nice, professional, PATIENT, responsive, helpful and attentive to our specific needs. One of our neighbors went with a highly rated national company and had endless complaints - couldnt get the service and help he needed, ever. Another one of our neighbors tried going directly through other solar Co and they rejected their job because their roof made it too difficult to install panels. Very helpful with my solar issue. Original installer had gone out of business. Micro inverter was bad but still under warranty. RCC was able to troubleshoot remotely the issue and got the vendor to send part directly to me. When package arrived, installation was scheduled and now panel is back up and running! Very efficient and inexpensive. I will call on them again the next time I need service on my array.

I dealt with several solar companies while getting quotes and panel recommendations from them all before finally settling with RC Construction Solar.Many of the companies were trying to sell me panels that would be little more than an expensive solar decorations as they wanted to put panels on the North face of my house.RC Construction Solar told me where I needed to put the panels, and I was able to back that up with the direction the sun travels in the sky. The equipment that he sold to me was the same price as the competitors, but it was a better value as it had higher wattage output.Im glad I chose RC Construction Solar, and would recommend them to both friends and family as they were courteous, prompt, and professional throughout the entire process.

In the fall of 2019 I called Roberto who came out and gave me a quote for a ground mount solar system. His price was substantially lower than several other quotes I had received so I was leery but felt like he was an honest person after meeting him. After signing a contract Roberto also came out with his crew and installed the system plus even added an outlet for my camper shed at no additional cost. The job was well done. Weve now been through almost two summers, have had zero issues and my system is producing as expected. Very seldom do I have a power bill now. Thanks Roberto and crew!
