I recently had Vern Kummers replace my water heater, and the experience was great. Scheduling was quick and easy, and the plumber that came onsite was both incredibly professional and friendly (I think his name was John; I waited too long to write this review and cant remember for sure). Its been almost a month now and everything is working great. I would personally recommend Vern Kummers to others and I will definitely be calling them for my future plumbing needs.

Always very pleased with the service and quality Tom provides. Cannot get any better. I myself stopped at the store to purchase 2 replacement toilet seats as a sibling of mine comes and goes in the house when Im gone I suspect even the neighbor simply because of timing and at times I leave for such a very short time. Wonderful service! We ended up needing a new toilet, and Dwayne from Vern Kummers came out right away with the new toilet, and installed it in under an hour! He ended up coming back a week later because I thought the toilet was making a weird sound; turns out it was just from how fast it flushes LOL! I wasnt charged and he was super awesome about it! Definitely recommend!

Was having our bathroom remodeled and there was an issue with getting the toilet to seat properly. I tried contacting a few local plumbers to no avail. They were all 7-10 days out. I called Vern Kummers and was able to get a plumber out within hours. The scope of work was more involved than originally anticipated; however, our toilet was installed and more importantly, installed correctly. If in the event I need a plumber in the future, Vern Kummers will be the one and only that I call!

We had a particularly difficult issue trying to find and fix a leak coming from a vent pipe in our not-super-accessible attic space. Chad was able to get up to the attic, find the leak, and knew right away what could be done to fix it. One more visit later with the right materials and the job was done! Working with Chad and Kummers was very easy, great communication, and I always felt like I was getting honest, straight answers to all my questions. I will definitely be using them for any plumbing needs going forward.

Professional, prompt, and expert replacement of our sump pump was provided by Chad of Vern Kummers Plumbing. Our old sump pump was failing during the recent rain storms. Chad gave us immediate straight forward options. He fixed wonky old piping connected to the old sump pump. He thoroughly explained the function of the sump pump that we bought. The sump pump with power outage alarm has been working perfectly! We now feel more confident that our basement is protected.

We love having Vern Kummers complete any of our plumbing needs! We needed a major plumbing job done at our house and they gave us a quote. It was high at first but it needed to be done. When they came to do the job, they were early, very professional, and explained what they were doing before it needed to be done. When the job was finished, they completed it 3 hours earlier than they said they would because some of the work they thought needed to be fixed, they found out that it didnt and they took the time to physically show us that it did not need to be completed. Also, the final price was a little less than 50% than the quoted price! It has now been roughly 2 weeks, and everything still looks great! Our expert was able to easily diagnose the source of the problem and answer my many questions. Phenomenal! We had to have all the plumbing in our bathroom replaced from the old cast iron that was crumbling (including most of the stack) and they made the process so simple. They were very accommodating with reworking the new plumbing to fit around our future reno plans, as well. Very happy with my latest service visit! Chad came out and accessed our sub pump, suggested it to be replaced rather than repaired (which I agreed with). I discovered that just because you are a homeowner doesnt mean you can do everything. I got in over my head with a toilet replacement, and Im smart enough to realize I needed professional help. I had two very old water heaters and one of them died on me. I searched around on the internet and Vern Kummers came up with high reviews, so I gave them a call. Right from the start when I spoke to them on the phone they were very professional and easy to talk to. They scheduled some thing immediately to have a professional come over to have a both of my water heaters replaced. The professional who came was extremely nice and very informative. My two new water heaters were installed very quickly but they did a very thorough job. Although I would have liked to have pay a little less, I am very satisfied that I chose to go with them.

Please give Dwayne from the Green Bay location a pay raise! Long story short, he could have simply run a snake through the old and narrow pipe system, with the assumption that the problem was a clog. Instead, he thought it through and realized that the clothes washer was emptying directly into the main outgoing pipe rather than having its own direct fill pipe, which then joined the main. He added a fill pipe for the washer before it goes to the main, and I no longer have to hang a towel over the junction to catch the spray that used to spill over! Thank you Dwayne!

The previous companys technician didnt seem to be very experienced, so we contacted Vern Kummers this time. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. We havent had any issues since then (fingers crossed) so I would consider them a success and I would recommend them to anyone!

He explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost up front, and quickly put in a new cartridge and handle; he also took a look at our sump pump and offered some general maintenance advice for our plumbing. He was professional, courteous, and helpful and the whole thing took less than an hour. We will be calling Vern Kummers again if we need plumbing help for sure!

Our experience with Vern was great! The install of our dishwasher went smoothly and the plumber, John D, was extremely courteous and professional. He even came back to check on a power outage in our master bath we thought could have been linked somehow. Later we found out the timing was merely coincidental but he came back to look into things nonetheless. I was ready to give 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the price was slightly high but I appreciate that they offer military discounts as well so I bumped it up to 5 stars. Dwayne did a great job. I had a different plumber from a different company over before, and they didnt get to the root of the problem. A few months later, and my problem with the tub was not only back, it was worse. Dwayne took extra time and addressed my multiple concerns. My shower had a clog, my sinks stopper was on too tight, and worst of all my downstairs bath tub backed up with water and sludge whenever I used the sink. He was the second plumber I have had to address the same problem, and not only did he listen to my concerns and ask helpful questions, he found the problems and fixed them within two hours all at a fair price. Each time he went to make a repair, he would quote how much it would cost ahead of time, and kept me informed throughout the process. 5 stars.

I called before 8:00 am and was told that you would have a service rep here between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. After no one showed up after 4:00 we got a call asking us to re-schedule until the next morning. That made us quite upset because we had no hot water all day. After it was arranged to get Tom S here, about 4:45 he did a great job and we are happy with the quality job he did. We also appreciate that he worked until 7:00 to get everything working well and cleaned up.

I initially was given a time frame between 10am-12pm on the day of my appointment. Their office called me about 9:15 am stating they had a guy in the area and he could come over in 10 minutes.Once at the house the estimation for a new tank took less than a couple of minutes. The pricing for tank and service was fair and install took about 45mins. Tom was the service man who came to my house and he was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Vern Kummers definitely has my future buisness.

I’ve used Vern Kummers plumbing several times. At our old house Steve fixed an upstairs shower valve and we also had him redo all the piping & toilet/faucet/shower installation in our basement bathroom. He was always super nice and very informative. We recently bought a new house and had our electric hookups switched to gas for our oven/range. I don’t remember the plumber’s name, but he was more friendly to my husband than me.My only complaints about the services is the prices are pretty steep. They do good work and we’ve yet to have any issues with the work they’ve done, so I don’t mind paying a little more. But I’m sure you could find more affordable plumbers in Green Bay.My biggest complaint though is that they always leave a huge mess and don’t clean up after themselves. With my first shower valve fix they left a huge gapping hole in the drywall and debris everywhere. I thought it was just a fluke thing but after using them multiple times it seems to be pretty common to leave debris and mess everywhere. It’s a little disappointing because everything else they do is so professional.

Fast friendly service from the initial service visit to Tony quoting us a price, no pressue, to Chris to installed it. Promt on time every time. Couldnt be happier. We recommend them.They give options to buy, finance or rent. We took the rental rout with the option to buy at the end of the year and the rental fees will be applied to the cost at the wnd of the year. They service it and bring salt at no extra charge included with the rental, which is around 40 bucks a month. Very pleased.

Steve came out was Tuesday and said he wouldnt need to go in the crawl space, that they had a jetter that they would blast out all the build up in the pipes and it would clear it out. Came today to do it and everything is working like brand new!!! Highly recommend and if I ever have problems again I will be calling and asking for Steve again personally! Very nice guy!
