I had a sudden blockage in the sewer lateral that prevented drainage for my entire house. A previous plumber from a different company had concluded that I needed expensive hydrojet service. I called Roto-Rooter of Grass Valley asking for hydrojet service. They visited within a couple hours, questioned the previous plumber’s conclusion, efficiently located my backflow valve, and found it to be dislodged and the cause of the blockage. They had me up in running in about 30 minutes, in heavy rain, for a tiny fraction of the expected cost of hydrojet service. Their expertise was clear, their service was great, and they saved me time and money. I highly recommend them, especially the specific technicians who did the work so efficiently and honestly, and I wish I had called them first.

WOWZA!You cant go wrong with Adam at Roto-Rooter.My emergency was Adams emergency, and then he fixed it, plain and simple!We had a downspout that was not spouting to where it was supposed to go. Obvious symptoms of a clogged drainage system with water bubbling up and flooding a dog run... until Adam got out his shovel and saved the day and me money!Back pedal to our original conversation... After discussing the problem with Adam, and having prior experience with another rooting provider, Adam gave me an estimate and scheduled to bring the BIG GUNS to power jet the downspout drainage system to the drain field. This was a $$$$.$$ estimate that was less than the previous provider.Then, Adam, with his Power Jet Machine in tow (just in case), first got out his shovel to get to the bottom of the issue which was about 1.5 feet below the surface of muddy water and yuck from the roof runoff... he had checked all of the downspouts and the drain exit to the drain field... yup, signs of a clog... maybe, maybe not. On his hands and knees he shoveled out the mud and gravel (during a downpour) to find a separated pipe that was causing the flooding and not an expensive clog needing the $$$$.$$ Power Jet Machine... PHEW! What a relief.Adam, reconnected the pipe and said, Well, I just saved you a lot of money!That he did, he recalculated the price to $$.$$ and took my credit card number and his dirty shovel and went on to his next job.Thanks Adam at Roto-Rooter!

The day after a family wedding with 20 house guests the line between the house and septic tank became clogged. All toilets were out of service! I called at 5 pm on a Sunday, the on-call plumber (Adam) called me back within 20 minutes and was here 20 minutes after that. He had it all resolved within 30 minutes and saved the day! Courteous, professional, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Great service and a very fair price for an emergency service call. I highly recommend this company

Within a couple weeks I needed to have two plumbing services performed. I had a pinhole leak in my hot water pipe and outflow pigtail on my water heater. It was just after noon time when I called. I thought I would have to wait until the following day or later to get an appointment. However, within 2 hours of contacting Roto-Rooter, Connor was on site and had the repair taken care of. Two weeks later my water heater inner tank failed and began leaking. Again I called hoping to get a new water heater sometime that week. Once again Connor showed up within two hours, called their supplier to see if they had a new one in stock, and was able to get the new water heater to my house and installed about 2 hours later. Same-day service was timely, efficient, and professionally done. Many thanks to Connor and Roto-Rooter (GV)!

I needed a video inspection of the waste pipes at my house to determine the best way to tie in a new toilet. The tech was on-time, easy to talk to, and explained things as he performed the inspection, ensuring I understood where the lines ran. We were able to mark out in bright orange spray paint (not permanent) where all the waste water was flowing out of the toilet, sinks and tub. This allowed us to determine the most minimally invasive way to tie in the new toilet where we didnt have to destroy too much of the concrete walkway(s). The entire effort was very helpful to come up with a clear picture of what I tell the contractors that will eventually install the new toilet.

Connor just came out, within two hours on 12/22, and fixed our drainage system. He was fast, inexpensive, competent, and cordial. My husband even mentioned that the receptionist was helpful and friendly. We couldn’t use any faucets or showers, so it’s very much appreciated!!

One of the valves involved in my circulating pump developed a pinhold leak. It is in the attic. Soon it was dripping on the floor of the attic and coming through the ceiling of the first level and dripping into my master bedroom closet. It was about 4:00 p.m. on a Friday evening. Of course I thought I was doomed. I phoned Roto-Rooter, they were there within a half hour and had the water line secured for the weekend until they could order and receive the replacement valve. By 5:00 p.m. they were gone. they returned on Monday, mid-day, replaced the guilty valve with a new, good one and the hot water is now circulating through the house. Great service from some really nice, kind, caring gentlemen!! Thanks Adam and Dan and also to Parker who was here to help me with a plumbing problem a couple of years ago. My compliments to Roto-Rooter for their selection of employees!!

With a clogged main drain on a Friday afternoon, we called and were assured a technician would be out that afternoon. The technician, Parker, arrived about 4:00 pm as promised, swiftly diagnosed the problem and proceeded to unclog the drain despite difficult and challenging access. I would highly recommend these folks for your plumbing needs.
