I should have called FloHawk the first time. Drain Pro quoted me $1,500 to install a baffle(thanks Ricky) and remove a metal divider lid (which I did myself. Ryan at FloHawk did the job for $392. . FloHawk really goes above and beyond my expectations with realistic prices that I can afford.

Overall, an excellent experience with Flo Hawks. They quickly responded to my initial call. Reviewed our situation and made a plan. They work weekends and evenings which worked well for us. The technician, Tony, was really skilled. He showed great determination in fixing a particularly difficult problem. While it was a bit expensive, they seem to be competitively priced. We really appreciate the good work.

Tony was great. He came out to help me with a clog between our house and the septic tank. He was able to remove the clog quickly, as well as identify the cause (a belly in the pipe causing solids to build up). So we had our main line clogged...First of all, I want to give a BIG shout out to Jan (at the call center) for being friendly, VERY patient, detailed in answers (which she had to every one of my questions), definitely knows what company she works for, so she is well prepared unlike many others out there, who have zero understanding on what their servicemen do and think their only job is to schedule appointments. It’s BECAUSE of Jan we decided to go with FloHawks. Whoever’s paying her, she deserves more. Seriously.A gentleman by the name of Darren arrived and located the problem, fixed it, explained to us how to prevent another accident from happening. Answered every single question we had. He was very respectful with us, which I value highly.The flat service fee of $359 was very convenient, because we have experienced in the past some services that charge per hour would show up and stay as long as possible so they’d end up charging us a fortune.Also, fantastic job communicating with your clients! I got a text message with a picture of Darren, so I know what he looks like, approximate time of his arrival, which was on time.Overall, I’m VERY impressed and definitely will recommend them to my friends.

1st home with a septic and the lid seal broke not sure what to do so I contacted them they came out right away. Eric was able to fix it explained what happened and how to prevent it in the future! He was very friendly and professional!A nice touch that goes along way when it comes to service was that FloHawks sent me a text when he was on his way with a picture and name of the technician coming! Flohawks was quick to find a time that worked for our family, the service provider was fast, efficient, and provided good options for what we could do with our tank since it didn’t need servicing immediately. We opted to have it emptied anyway and my kids were fascinated with the process. I know this wasn’t part of the job but Jimmy answered my children’s questions and was very patient with them. The whole service was fast and relatively easy.

We had a difficult time navigating what was causing our back up. We were under the impression we were on sewer but turns out we have a STEP system. Flo Hawks was very helpful and the only company we called that seemed to even have knowledge of the STEP system. Jimmy, the technician that was dispatched to us was great! He answered all our questions, explained how to maintain our system moving forward and was very knowledgeable.

I called flohawks on a Saturday after finding very few septic companies open on the weekend. Dawn was incredibly helpful booking an appointment as quickly as possible. Jesse came at exactly 1pm, assessed the situation, called a pumper truck and went to work, doing as much as he could until Garrett arrived to pump the tanks. They worked together to fix our pump and pipes. I was back to doing laundry by 4pm! Thanks everyone! We will definitely be doing business with you again!

Mike was very polite and informative his entire time during his visit. He gave me several pointers on how to care for me system. He was knowledgeable about the septic system on my property. When I bought my home in 2013, I did not have a usable back yard so I trucked in 770 cubic yard of good soil instead of the rocks and clay that was my back yard. I have buried all my access points to my drain field point of access. He made some make shift divining rods and found my clean out points. Besides the point that FloHawks hires veterans into their staff. The visit and service I received from Mike was excellent.

FloHawks showed up and did a professional job advising us on what needed to be done with our septic system. The representative was helpful and it turned out our system didnt even need to be pumped. Our system alarm was faulty and our filter just needed to be cleaned. We were shown how to clean the filter and advised on approximately when to expect that our system may need to be pumped. Professional, fair, respectful and clean! We have had horrible treatment from another local septic business that overcharged us JUST TO LOOK at our septic system. Dishonesty will watch up with you.

They were really honest about what they believed the problem was (it was a blockage in my plumbing pipes). I really appreciated their attitude. They were really customer service oriented. Required service because septic alarm kept sounding. Service rep arrived as promised, explained what he would do before getting started. Mike was friendly and conducted himself in professional manner. Unfortunately Mike discovered our septic pump had gone bad and would need to be replaced. Unfortunately the pump would need to order before the system could be fixed. Because our tank is almost full we can’t generate any waste water until we can get the tank pumped out.

This morning toilet backed up and flooded kitchen. Found septic tank full and pump not working. Called FloHawks - Zane and Matt arrived early this afternoon and got to work, they are professionals and work like machines. I thought the septic tank pump was shot, but Matt pulled it out of the tank and found the impeller stuck with debris. He cleared it and reinstalled the pump in the tank and checked its operation ten times before verifying that the pump is good. He also checked the pump panel controls and reset the timer to specification. Zane pumped out the septic tank, pump tank and cleaned the filter. He was not satisfied until the house plumbing to the septic tank was verified clear and free flowing which required jetting and routing. Large amounts of grease and soap were found clogging the main sewer run to the septic tank.Ron K

With the septic tank backing up into the downstairs shower, bathtub and the toilet bubbling like a La Brea tar pit the family was in a panic, especially my millennial granddaughter! She was certain we were doomed to catch Ebola, Flesh eating disease and at the very least E-coli!After researching our options I decided on FloHawks Pluming and Septic. I was taught years ago to always get three bids. FloHawks was not the least expensive bid, but their service, hearing Yes, on the phone, well be there tonight, was the deal clincher.We are seniors and our good intentions were only making mud trying to find the septic tank lid/lids. And then, like a super hero, a FloHawks truck came down our driveway at 8:00PM driven by Steve Bolen!He was calm, listened to all of our unhelpful comments and then he got to work using his own knowledge and experience. It was a large tank with two lids, he began systematically locating the lids and dug then up . First tank was being pumped while he unearthed the second lid. He asked us to flush five toilets at intervals to make sure the system was working . He allowed my husband to help, and that was a simple kindness.To summarize Steve Bolen was professional, expedient and sincere in his approach to giving the best service he could. FloHawks has been in business a long time and its no wonder with the obvious high standards theyve set in delivering their service.

FloHawks took a cautious approach to a troubling septic situation. For those who are unfamiliar were on a STEP septic system. Our tank alarm went off and the community we are in did not have drawings of where the sewer line connected to our system. We had to do an emergency pump of our central community tank. It took 13 days to find a shut-off valve that caused the blockage. Meanwhile Flohawks did everything they could to try find the civil engineering drawings to document where to dig if needed. Their patience and perseverance saved us money. They tested our pump and knew there was some sort of blockage. Very happy with all their technicians.

Will came out to our place on a moments notice (a few hours after my call to FloHawks) to help with what I guessed was a clogged drainpipe from a bathroom to the septic tank. He took nothing for granted. He opened the septic tank and looked in ports at the water situation in the drains, then quickly diagnosed a more than one problem. A clogged filter in the tank, an obstruction in a long drain pipe, everything okay in another drain pipe. He blasted the obstruction (a root mass) clear with high pressure water, then removed it again when it lodged somewhere else, cleared the filter and showed me how to do that in the future. Throughout he was very helpful in answering a lot of questions and was actually pleased to find a customer who was interested in such things. Considering that septic tanks and drains are something you would just as soon not want to see, he made it an instructive and actually interesting experience. Thanks, Will

Amazing customer service. Septic system alarm went off the afternoon of Christmas Eve. Of course. The morning of the 26th, I called and I was offered an immediate appointment. I couldnt set up an appointment until today, but they were still very accommodating. The tech showed up and was very polite. Initially we were quoted as needing a new pump at $2600 total for our bill. Ryan continued working on the septic and then realized that the pump had a piece of plastic stuck inside of it. Ryan was an outstanding customer advocate and ensure we were taken care of. We still had our tanks pumped just to be safe.Its rare for companies to do whats best anymore. But FloHawks is still customer service driven. And I wont hesitate to call them anytime I need any service they provide.

Takes time to explain the work and outcomes in a very professional way.As for the company, I know there are others out there, I’m however pretty happy with what I’m seeing when FloHawks stop by. My neighbors feel much the same way!This year our system required repair-it seems that Pierce County approved our septic system in spite of the fact it was built incorrectly. Great oversight there, anyway after spending more than ten hours at my home the problem has largely been fixed. Darren went beyond my expectations with his time spent here.While FloHawks has some pretty steep rates, you can find cheaper, for me, the level of professionalism is worth the cost. Thanks
