    Kona is the Best! Honest, skilled, respectable workers, stand behind their work and are not afraid to take on complex jobs. Kona trouble shooted the problems and came up with the best solutions for me. They recently replaced gas piping and old drain lines for me in Galveston. I have learned the hard way paying other plumbing companies and contractors to do plumbing work saying that they can fix the problems and there still are issues.

    Our garbage disposal wasnt working in the house we just purchased. I called Kona because they had good reviews. They definitely lived up to the hype. The plumber came within 24hours and fixed it in five minutes. Because the job was so quick, he refused to accept any payment! Ill be sure to call Kona again if I need ANYTHING plumbing related on Galveston Island.

    I had Kona Plumbing assemble and install a new commercial stove I purchased. I am so pleased that I chose Kona. Starting with Nick in the office to David the owner, what an unbelievable team! The price was reasonable, they completed the job early, cleaned up after themselves, were on time and very personable. Punctuality and respect of others time seems to be lacking with businesses on the island but not with Kona. I cannot recommend Kona Plumbing enough. Do not use anyone else, you will not be disappointed!

    David and Rich were very knowledgeable with their inspection from the leak under the master sink. While my husband and I thought the leak was coming from one place, David helped advise how the AC might be involved, and gave tips on a simple fix that may resolve the issue. The last quote from a different commercial company was twice as much, “a standard rate regardless of the work”, and said the leak was simply loose nuts that needed to be screwed in, adding on additional charges if parts were needed. We are taking David’s advice to see if the leak will be fixed. If the problem persists, Kona Plumbing is our first choice. Thanks David and Rich!

    Kona Plumbing helped us repair a leaky pipe at our home in Galveston. David from Kona came to our house for a second opinion thinking we knew the issue... but David took his time to inspect and informed us that it was perhaps a different issue that was causing the leak. While a competitor was quick to give us a quote and eager to fix the problem (which was twice as much as what David quoted us), David noticed that it was a different issue that needed to be addressed and gave us advice to try and fix it on our own. I cannot speak enough about his honesty and professionalism. If there are any plumbing issues in the future (hopefully not!), I will be calling Kona Plumbing. THANK YOU KONA PLUMBING AND TEAM!

    Konas employees worked very hard, were respectful of the property and even went out of their way to be sure our dog was safe at all times. When we had a question about our water heater that seemed to be having trouble they called us on a Saturday to troubleshoot and make sure we had hot water for the weekend.     I had a service quoted and scheduled to be done. On the day of the job, I was told it was not possible to have it done. Just when I was feeling deterred by this company, the owner David, personally came out and assessed the situation and came up with a solution that worked well for me. He then personally participated in the labor and oversaw the job. He and his crew worked long hours until the job was completed and we were satisfied. I’m very pleased to say I’ve found an honest and hardworking plumber and will be using this company for future projects.

    We were very pleased with Kona International, LLC on replacing our hot water heater. I called on a Monday, David came out that afternoon. He explained the work that needed to be done in our 1930s home and the price to make sure everything was to code. By Tuesday after noon we had hot water. We will definitely be using Kona again for all our plumbing needs.

    Kona did a wonderful job renovating all of the plumbing in my home. All of the work performed was done with quality in mind. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, which made the job last a bit longer than expected, but nothing we couldn’t handle. David was always punctual and made sure that all of our needs were met. Definitely a company I would recommend and will be using them in the future should any other needs arise.

    I have never been impressed with a plumber until David from Kona Plumbing came to my house today. We have kids who sometime flush the wrong things and I was frustrated. I Googled plumbers near me and found David from Kona. I called him at 1:54pm and he said hed be there in less than hour. At 2:30pm he was knocking. He also had a really nice late model van clearly labeled and parked out front. When I opened the door he politely introduced himself while wearing a mask, took off his shoes and entered the house. He had is auger with him in an extra thick contractor bag to keep the dirty parts of it away from the rest of my house. He diagnosed and fixed my problem and was gone in less than 10 minutes. On his way out, I reminded him I needed to pay him, and he said hed send me an invoice through an email. He did, I took care of it and that was it. I hope I dont need a plumber again, but if I do, Ill call David at Kona Plumbing first.

    I am very happy with my experience with Kona Plumbing. They were retained through my home warranty company. Although there was an initial scheduling mixup (i believe the fault of the home warrant company), Kona was EXTREMELY easy to contact to straighten things out. A real person answered the phone every time. You just dont get that any more. David the tech, and his helper, arrived on time on two separate occasions and got the job done in very good time. It was done right the first time. I would definitely hire them again for any plumbing need.

    I called Kona Plumbing and one other service after finding a leak after the 2021 freeze. I was not comfortable with the first plumber that showed up. David with Kona was the second plumber that came. David told me immediately what it would take to fix my problem including prices and told me what would need done to bring the home up to code if I just did a full replumb of my home. I received formal quotes and decided to have Kona do a full replumb of my house. Britney in the Kona office organized the schedule and provided me up front details as well as was willing to work w/ my insurance any way possible to help me. The Kona team scheduled several days to complete the work. The majority of the work on my home was done by Dean. Dean and anyone who helped him was on time every day, polite, and worked very hard. Dean obviously knew what he was doing and cared to do the job correctly while being very respectful of my home. I had a combination of galvanized, pvc, and polyflex plumbing in my home, so this was not an easy job and leaks and/or debris clogs came up during the job. Kona responded very quickly to address of my concerns and was sure to let me know if something came up like a leak I didn’t find right away they would address it. Right before my city inspection was scheduled Kona had a second set of eyes come through my home to review everything. Kona did a great job cleaning up all the debris while working and when the job concluded. My plumbing passed inspection. I’m very happy with well insulated pipes, I don’t have to worry about every time it goes below freezing, and I’m no longer just waiting for the next leaky old pipe bill. The price I paid I feel was great for the service and quality of work and materials.

    Kona has done dozens of jobs for me over the last several years. The owner consistently has innovative and cost-effective suggestions but when the jobs are straightforward, he and his crew usually have it done the next day. Their specialty is plumbing but in my experience they are qualified to do just about any type of residential or commercial work, and do it well. My highest recommendation to them.

    Mr David Okamura was just fantastic! He helped me find the source of a leak in my bathroom that was coming from the upstairs condo owners unit. He is very very knowledgeable.     We are grateful to Kona Plumbing for their professionalism, care, understanding, and care they took in taking care of the complete replacement of our plumbing under the house/slab. What we thought was a simple clogged kitchen sink ended up being a complete overhaul of rotted out cast iron pipes to PVC. Jesse promptly kept us up to speed with what was going on and the crew even made sure to take care of our dog.     Had Kona replace a toilet and fix a broken angle stop. They took what was an original improper installation and handled all of the issues to make it correct. They did so over four different visits due to the complexity of the issues and water turnoff requirements. They stuck with it and did an amazing job, removing my worries for my vacation property. Once they arrived I knew I had made the right choice with them, I had another plumbing company look at the problem initially, but I called Kona because I didnt feel the original company was going to be able to adequately handle the job. Kona Plumbing are my heroes, and if I need any plumbing work in the future, they will be the company I call. I could not give them a more glowing recommendation.

This is the second time we’ve had them come out, both times they took their time to get to the root of the problem, once they figured that out; worked quickly, cleaned their mess, made sure we were happy with our experience and not to mention are very affordable!     Kona Plumbing provided excellent service when I had issues with my water and sewer lines. David was extremely professional and answered all my questions. We had to send a camera down the sewer line and he let me watch the process and the video feed to see what was happening. We were able to unclog the drain pipe and now I do not have any leaks!I also used Kona Plumbing to repair a main water line leak. The leak was under the slab and was running pretty bad (~1 gallon an hour) so we re-plumbed the whole house. The whole team was extremely professional and protected the carpet as they worked in the house. They had to replace two of my spigots outside the house and the work they did on the exterior of the house was excellent as well.i would highly recommend Kona Plumbing for any main water line or sewer line repair work. Ask for David, and you will not be disappointed with their service or quality of work.

    Kona plumbing is how all business should run. They had no mark up prices like a lot of the plumbers who came to my home Pryor to Kona plumbing. I had other companies give me a quote without even going into my attic to see what the problem was. Kona plumbing came right into my home capped the pipe to at least give us running water and then told us what our options were as far as getting the pipe fixed. I highly recommend this company if you need or just want some work done to your home

    These people are amazing. I was in a dire situation with no water for 7 days. I called several plumbers who said it would be a week or more before they could get out to my house. One plumber showed up and started the job, did it incorrectly, and then disappeared. I made a call to Kona plumbing as suggested by a friend. Not only did David make it to my house that evening after a long day, but I had water within a couple hours! He fixed the mess the other plumber made and made sure that I had water before he left. The most prompt, professional, and knowledgeable repairman I have ever had to my home. And add to that, honest. I was afraid of what it would cost, but at that point I had no choice. However, I was elated when he told me what the charge would be. Substantially less than what other plumbers had quoted me. I will never use another plumbing service
