Amazing work and EXTREMELY knowledgeable! Came out to fix a blown fuse in the breaker box that was effecting my dryer to were it wouldn’t heat, and noticed a lot of other wiring issues ( my house is crazy old with wonky wiring) he got lights/switches working that have never worked since I moved in three years ago. Also got some work done with this same person a year prior when we had an electrical fire Kevin came out to help us after hours on a Saturday and got everything back up and running! I can’t say enough good things! I am so grateful for all the help that I have received. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Lights were out in our bathroom, wife was going into surgery. The circuit breaker was OK, didnt know what to do next. Called Gunning Electric, he called back in 1 minute. He talked me through the fix which solved everything, at no charge. We also used him once before, and he was excellent!

As new home owners, we found ourselves in need of an electrician. One of our bedrooms suddenly lost power. After calling a few electricians only to get an operator and no call back, we wanted to find someone we could speak directly to. Our last attempt was to call Gunning Electric. WOW what an amazing experience. Not only was he helpful over the phone in determining the potential issue, he came right out the next day and fixed the issue fast. One of our bathroom outlets was loose and shorting the room next to it. He swapped out the electrical outlet and explained everything during the process. I would highly recommend any home owner, especially new home owners, to use Gunning Electric. We found someone we can trust if we ever need an electrician in the future. I would describe the service as fast, friendly and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much for being there for us!

Kevin was amazing, had a small elertical problem and he was able to come the same day and get the power to our garage. He was professional and very courteous. He took the time to show me exactly what the problem was. He even said if we had any more problems just let him know and he would try to walk me through it and if we could not fix it he would come back out and address the problem. I would highly recommend Gunning Electric to anyone needing an electrician.

Kevin installed a charging unit for our electric vehicle as well as extra outlets in my garage at about half the price quoted by another company. And when we had the power go out in one of our walls, he talked me through tracking down the problem over the phone with patience and good humor. Kevin Gunning replaced many of the fixtures and switches in my house and made great suggestions about style & design. He also installed can lights in the kitchen, low profile ceiling fans in the bedrooms, fixed the light in my shower, and one of my phone jacks. Hes dependable knowledgeable, smart and honest. He was respectful of my property, worked efficiently, cleaned up every day, and is a very nice person. Hes the best contractor Ive had work in my home.

I called Mr.Gunning after dark on Valentine’s Day needing emergency service because my well pump had gone out and I had four horses to feed. Mr.Gunning selflessly left his family, even though he in no way was obligated to, and came right out to fix my electric, working well into the night. There is no doubt that hard work and kindness are important to Mr.Gunning, as these things shine through in his business. Highly recommend!

Incredibly helpful! Called on a busy weekday for help with a fuse box issue and Mr Gunning patiently walked me through fixing the problem over the phone. Setting up an appointment with other providers was going to take a few days to a week without, but thanks to Mr Gunning I won’t have to sit in the dark anymore!
