    We worked with Curtis to install a floor outlet in a home office and it was smooth as silk from beginning to end. He was incredibly helpful in determining if the outlet style we wanted would work and then got it ordered and installed super quickly. Were very happy with all the obvious stuff like the quality of the install and how everything was cleaned up before he left. But there are little details that make it even more impressive; like how he centered the outlet on floorboard. Its clear he thought things through and it shows in the results. Overall, we are incredibly satisfied and would highly recommend Dawsons and Curtis.

    I had an exceptional experience with Jonathon who replaced my 3 faulty, aging motion sensor lights with Ring Lights which far surpass the security and lighting ability of the previous lights. He also changed out the batteries in 5 hard-wired smoke detectors and added surge protection to my overall service. After reviewing my entire service, he explained the status of my service and the benefits of becoming a member of the Dawson Electric “family” by enrolling in the monthly service agreement which is far more comprehensive than the monthly plans I have through Duke at a comparable monthly fee. WOW!! Thanks for an awesome, “enlightening “ day!!! Wonderful job Dawson Electric!

    Great customer service on the phone and the technician arrived on time, worked in a clean and professional manner. One of the fans I bought from Home Depot was defective, the technician left a temporal light fixture until I got a new one. I appreciate that gesture! Then, a couple days later they sent me a thank you note with a small gift. There are many electrician out there but the Dawsons Electric customer service is outstanding!

    I chose Dawsons due to the stellar reviews and Im so glad we did. Mason was always on time, worked quickly but efficiently with the determination to perform more than satisfactory work, even with a home that has wiring challenges. He did all repairs & installations and we will have him back for more repairs after incoming guests leave. His expertise and professionalism is beyond reproach.     My breaker kept tripping, causing electricity in my office and attic to turn off. So I called Dawsons electric to take a look to see what was causing it. Their technician, Nathan arrived and was very polite, professional and efficient. He quickly discovered the issue and did a great job explaining the cause. Nathan corrected the problem at a fair price and also replaced all of my smoke detectors - as they were very old. I felt very comfortable and trusted Nathan with the work so I also signed up for their monthly service plan. This is a good company with a great, trustworthy technician.

    The appointment was scheduled promptly - which is nice because our kitchen was very dark without a functioning light fixture. We really didn’t know what our choices might be.     Ive lived in the area for nearly 20 years, and Dawsons Electric has by far been the easiest and most professional company I have ever worked with in this area for home improvement needs. I had a list of things that needed to be done, and after not getting through to one company I have used before and getting ghosted by another company I found Dawsons through google and reached out to them. They got back to me right away, and had me scheduled in less than a week.Mason came out and clearly explained their process to me. He did a full evaluation of my system, and I showed him all the things we wanted to get done. He gave me a price breakdown of everything, and showed me different options if I wanted to only do some of the work now. He also recommended an additional product (which I usually NEVER go for), but he wasnt pushy, and it honestly was something we needed and I didnt even know was a thing so we ended up adding that as well.All work done included swapping a light switch to a smart switch, swapping out a pendant light for a new one, adding two new outlets to a bathroom, and installing a whole house surge protector. He told me what work he was able to do in the same visit, and we scheduled him to come back the next day to do the rest. He let me know what risks there were in the adding new outlets in terms of drywall cutting - and although nothing went wrong I really value when someone lets you know things up front rather than something needing to be cut unexpectedly and being left with a surprise hole.I really loved this company and have nothing but praise for these guys. If youre looking for someone to do some work, call them!

    Second experience with Dawsons electric and so far they have been timely, professional and courteous. If I had one issue, it would be that I felt a little pressured to add additional items during both visits that I did not necessarily ask for. However, after further research I believe that they are just trying to recommend what updates (albeit still elective) to be considered in a house as old as ours to maximize efficiency and safety. We will continue to use them as I trust their assessments and they clearly have the ability to perform the entire spectrum of required electrical work for any given situation.

    Bryant just left after installing 5 ceiling fans with lights. He did a fantastic job! The dining area, master bedroom and enclosed back porch each had a different fan/light and the guest bedroom and indoor sunroom each had the same type of fan/light. I asked for Bryant specifically because a community member posted a glowing review on our community website and I wasn’t disappointed. He was pleasant, personable and professional.     Dawson electric was outstanding. Jonathon got out to me quickly and diagnosed my issues within minutes...then started work immediately on what could done day one. He then had the parts required to complete the job delivered the next day all the while engaging w Apex utilities ( who were also outstanding) for power management, permitting and inspections when the work was completed. Entire breaker box replaced and brought up to code inside of 24 hours. My hat is off to the DE team ! (And Shocker, now I can read the legend on each breaker!!).

    Tim and John came over today to inspect my entire home for issues I’ve been having since purchase. They were very friendly, quick and thorough. As expected, there was a large list of things that needed to be done. Each item was clearly explained, and they answered all questions I had. The problem areas were addressed efficiently and in a timely manner--i didnt have to waste a whole day waiting. Charlie, Jeff, and George were on time, and they worked efficiently together, correcting all the known issues -- all this without interrupting my day!     We’ve used Dawson Electric twice now and both times Nathan has been our electrician. He was just as outstanding as before, extremely friendly, professional and very efficient. My wife didn’t know if she would like the light fixtures she picked out and Nathan offered to hang one up and if she didn’t like it, he’d put the original back up for us. Luckily, she liked them both! He even took our old light fixtures so we didn’t need to worry about discarding them ourselves. Talk about full service! I asked/negotiated the pricing and decided to have all of the recommended services completed (whole house surge protector & ground bond for a gas line). Curtis was professional, proficient and most importantly all of the work was tidy/neatly done. I would recommend this company if you need an Electrician.

    Jim was great to work with. I had several items to in a project. He was good to put a couple of project ideas together in financial budget. With a plan to fo in short term phase.     Since my house is 38 years old I had the fuse box replaced and had Bryant check to make sure everything was up to code. He was great. It took a day and a half and I feel sure everything is safe.     I just had a great experience working with Jim G. He was courteous, professional, and showed great respect for me and my home. All great qualities. He first listened to hear and understand my requests for service. Jim then looked over the problem areas I wanted to address and after that shared with me what I felt was an honest and fair estimate of the services I had asked for. Although he offered some additional services I felt absolutely no pressure to sign for anything additional. I did see the benefits of the Peace of Mind Membership and signed up for that. Great service at a fair and reasonable price. I have no complaints and would indeed recommend Dawsons Electric to prospective customers. And if you ask for Jim I dont think you will be disappointed. I rate this a 5 star experience and as someone with my own decades in service delivery roles I dont hand that out lightly.

    I could not be more pleased with Dawson’s Electric! Everything from the phone call to set up the appointment, text messages to confirm, and then the actual repair visit, could not have been more professional. I had all my smoke alarms replaced and a new LED shower light installed. The new light is about 20 times brighter than my old one. Curtis was extremely nice and professional. He explained everything completely, gave me options as to types of alarms, completed a check of my electrical system, and completed the work in a timely manner. I will call Dawson’s for any future electrical work I need, and I highly recommend them!!!

    Dawsons Electric is awesome! Jason Trojan came out to our place and installed a new fan in our master bedroom and a new over the oven microwave. Not the easiest of installs, he had to do some rewiring to make it happen - but Jason did an outstanding job. He offered some great recommendations for upcoming work as well. Love knowing that we have now found a company/electrician that we feel confident in and trust to work on our home.

    We have used Dawson Electric multiple times and every time we are very pleased with their service, professionalism, cleanliness, and overall business objectives. It is rare to see this from the people who work in the office to the service technician on site. Weve had the pleasure of having Nathan and Bryant in our homes for service, and each time they have gone above and beyond in terms of communicating their pricing and what work will need to be completed. When it comes to anything electric in our home, I want to know the job is being done correctly and by a competent person and that is why we choose Dawson Electric every time.

    Tim was excellent. He replaced several plug, and was able to efficiently put in 2 separate plugs in our garage for our freezer and Fridge. Every thing was done cleanly and to high standard. Walked us through some future work we plan to have done. He was friendly and polite, put slips over boots every time he entered the house. Vacuumed work area. Thanks for the good work.     Always have such a good experience with Dawson. I’ve had them come to my property on multiple occasions to fix a number of things.     Tim was an absolute professional. Had previous companies refuse to try to run what I requested. Tim gave me a fair quote, let me know we had to compromise and provided a great alternative on the work in progress that ended up with a better result than Id hoped for.     Technician Tim from Dawson Electric was on time! I had barely finished reading the dispatch text when he arrived. Tim and his partner Mason were very professional, respectful of my home and courteous. After listening to my electrical problems Tim did a diagnostic and determined options for repair and/or replacement. He was very thorough and knew his job. He explained each option in an easy to understand manner and answered all my questions and what ifs?I was quite impressed that he worked meticulously explaining things as he performed his work. As he repaired one of the motion detectors it became apparent that it could not be salvaged and he quickly advised me before proceeding with the repair. It was a pleasure having Tim and Mason as our Technician today.
