    We called for an appointment and they were able to schedule us the following day. Steve communicated everything with us and made sure we understood everything.     These guys were plain out amazing. Came and quoted one thing and I ended up having them quote like 5 other items. Very thorough in quoting and understanding of what I wanted, but also recommend things based on their experience. Decided to have them actually do everything because their pricing was very competitive. Came out a few days later and completed all of the work within the day. Everything looks clean and functions as intended. I was also pleasantly surprised when I walk out into the garage and they had the fan running. I only requested they wire for the fan but they ended up installing. Couldnt recommend them enough. Will definitely be using them again for other electrical work.

    I just want to express what a great experience we had today with Briggs Electric. Steve came to our place to diagnose our dishwasher that wasnt working. He got that corrected very quickly and then, in the rain, he mounted two ring motion lights at either end of the house in the back and a ring doorbell. Explained everything that he was doing as he worked and was very thorough and quick in his work. I will very highly recommend Briggs Electric to anyone needing any electrical work done. Pricing is very fair and work is safe and thorough.

    Corey Flippo was my electrical engineer who did an outstanding job!He replaced old sockets that weren’t working, He connected a doorbell that was broken along with hooking up the electronic camera device. He also installed another 20 Watt amp that allowed robust treadmill to work efficiently. He also repaired light fixture which had beenbeen attempted to fix 2x before. Finally he took the time to trouble shoot to connect our camera to the door bell system. His tenacity, professionalism, and patience were outstanding. He should definitely be considered for positions of greater responsibility. If we have anymore electrical issues, we are calling Corey!Job Well Done!On 5/23, Briggs Electric Co. responded within 24 hrs after a socked cover plate was found burnt in the kitchen. Jay trouble searched and found that wires were connected to the device (potential problem for 30 yr old homes). So Jay repaired it by installing a outlet pig tailed the device. Jay didn’t have the parts so he left to retrieve the parts and hours later Steve came by to finish the job. Cory, Jay, and Steve are knowledgeable, outstanding electricians and work well as a TEAM! I am very satisfied with their service. Job well done! I highly recommend Briggs Electric Co!

    Corey with Briggs Electric was so great! He took great care in ensuring he wore shoe covers throughout the house, spent time patiently answering my many questions, and successfully installed my new ceiling fan and overhead light.     Corey and Jay at Briggs Electric are so professional and know what they’re doing! I had asked The people who built my home who never installed vanity lights over the bathroom sinks if they could, they told me it was not possible. I called Jay at Briggs electrical and he was confident they could. They came out and wired in through the attic and installed both vanity lights we are so pleased with everything they did there now our go to electricians. We will never use anyone else. Corey, our electrician was so courteous and kind and was in and out in no time making what seem like a monumental task relatively easy!

    Steve arrived on time after he called to let us know when he would get here. Went over my list of what I needed done, worked up a quote and started working. He was respectful of our home and kept things tidy as he worked. Tradecraft like electricians are costly but he ask his manager and applied a 5% discount when I asked about a military discount. Nice people, good work.

    Jay Briggs returned my call in a very timely manner. Our regular electrician retired and he gave us Briggs Electric. Electrician, Steven, came out and replaced 6 exterior light fixtures and installed a new door bell. Percussion and job satisfaction was experienced! I have a new electrician as of today.     I had electrical issues in my kitchen I called them up and within 24 hrs they were at my house and the problem was solved. I was impressed as to how quickly they came out and took care of everything. Corey was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful in explaining what was wrong, he was extremely polite and very personable which in my book being a business owner for 24 yrs is as complete as you can get in an employee.     My house was closely or stuck by lightning. Briggs was the third electrician I called as the other 2 couldn’t give me a time they could come out and never got back to me. Briggs offered to come out same day! I scheduled a few days out as my time permitted. They came and looked over the whole house and check out some problems I was having. The technician Steve that came out was great, he offered me multiple options to pick from and got everything repaired same day. Couldnt be happier and I will be calling them back for any future electrical needs!

    I cannot say enough for the service, professional service provided by Briggs Electric especially for our technician, Steven Ferguson. Steven called and let us know when he would be at our house and arrived on time and dressed professionally. After we discussed our problem Steven initiated to discover the source of our problem. Once Steven determined the problem he did to Ed the problem in detail and in a way that we could clearly understand what had to be done, the process to fix the problem and a estimate for how long it would take to fix the problem. Steven then provided a document describing what had to be done, process for fixing the problem and a detailed expense estimate for all cost. Once I had signed the estimate, Steven again asked if I had any questions and then started to fix the problem. Steven finished the work provided me with an electronic billWhich I signed. Then Steven through email a copy of the process to find and fix the problem, a estimate for the work and the receipt for my payment. Throughout this Steven was always extremely professional and polite in all aspects of dealing with a client. Anyone requiring professional electrical work, I highly recommend Briggs Electric and would request that the service technician provided be Steven Ferguson.

    It was a real pleasure doing business with this company. I needed to connect a generator to my house and was confused about which way to go. Jay, the owner, took the time to explain the options to me so that I could see what was best for me. They scheduled quickly, showed up on time, and did a great job. I can easily switch in my generator now and wont need to pull cable all over the house the next time a storm here in Wake county kills our power.     Ive had Briggs do many jobs over the past years for me. This was the first job that Jay had his crew come out to accomplish what needed to be done. Cory and Steve proved to be an excellent team that worked together flawlessly and worked hard until the job was complete. After completion, everything was cleaned and floors were vacuumed and all the new hardware was tested.I would ( and have) recommend Jay and his team for any electrical need. Safety was the most important part of my heavy chandelier installation and they made sure to do everything imaginable to make sure it’s secure.     Corey showed up on time and was extremely professional and informative. He provided a quote to replace all of my house smoke alarms for a price I thought reasonable. He even addressed a short term problem with the smoke alarms constantly chirping . This is a relief since we have a number of house guests arriving next week.     I knew of Jay, but had never used him until recently. I contacted Jay to work on a remodel I am doing on my own home. He has been great, shows up when he says he will and works solid when he is at the job site. I cannot recommend him enough. To many people nowadays wont even answer the phone, but Jay has been great about staying in touch and letting me know whats going on! Very glad that I hired Jay and his crew! Thanks Jay! We had contacted another electrician about the problem prior to contacting Briggs. He tried for 3 hours to resolve the problem and gave up. So, this was not a simple problem, but Jay was able to fix it for us and the price was very reasonable. Briggs is the best!
