    I am a relatively new homeowner who bought a 100+ year old home in Ferndale and had no idea what to expect with getting electrical work done. To add to that stress, it felt like I was pulling teeth to find any electrician who would take our relatively small job. I finally found out about Jason and Roth Electric through a local Facebook group and was blown away by how knowledgeable Jason and his staff is regarding old homes and how communicative he was.     Jason made time in his schedule to quickly come diagnose a partial outage in my home. When it turned out to be a DTE issue, he gave me the exact readings and information I needed to report to them.     Jason was great. I had a really odd issue where my thermostat seemed to be knocking out power to about half of my house, disabling my Central Air on one of the hottest days of the year. He responded quickly to my call on a Sunday, assessed the problem correctly through a handful of texts and got us scheduled for service by Tuesday. Work was done quickly and at a reasonable cost, and he was great at explaining the issue at hand. Will definitely be using Roth for our future electrical needs

    A phenomenal job completed by an absolute professional electrician and apprentice. A superb explanation and description of all work to be performed during the estimate sealed the deal due to his professionalism. During the job, he took the time and patience with all my questions, which isnt easy to do because I am fascinated with all aspects of engineering, mechanics and materials and I tend to inquire about the details, but he explained everything to the fullest. His adroitness and ability were outstanding along with his apprentice. The cost was well within the lower range of what I thought it would be because I had to have some extra things completed to code due to my very old system, so the price was fantastic and one has to remember that you are paying for experience, knowledge, and skill, and you cant really put a price on that. Peace of mind is priceless.

    Jason did a great job replacing our main panel, upgrading from 150 to 200A. He was on time, cleaned up after, and scheduled the inspection to accommodate our availability.     Just wanted to write a review for Jason and his crew on a very hassle free job they did for us. We had an outlet plug placed for my F150 and it went extremely smoothly.     Jason Roth of Roth Electric just completed a project at our home consisting of a new service panel install, two new circuits added, complete upgrade of electrical system to current codes and installation of a generator interlock.     HIGHLY recommend!! I had Jason install a transfer switch for my home because we have too many power outages in my neighborhood. From start to finish, Jason was kind and professional. I called several places before getting in contact with Jason and most of them just either did not pick up the phone or stated they will call you back and just never did. Not with Jason. He made sure to get back with me and keep me updated on different options for the transfer switch outlet as well as some generators. He also quoted the best price for the installation, offers a warranty on his work, and he is a no pressure type of guy. No wonder why so many people book him lol. All in all 5 out of 5.     Roth Electric did a 150 amp service upgrade, installed gfci outlets throughout the house, installed sconces and light fixtures as well as a generator outlet to the home. Permits were pulled on time, service was done as scheduled and without any delays.     Our house is from the late 50ā€™s, all plaster, and Jason installed new lights, switches, new fans in our bathrooms, where none existed. All look absolutely amazing. He installed a new electrical panel in our basement, situating all our electrical in our house. He installed a new electrical box outside our house in our back yard so we could have all our electrical put underground rather than wires overhead. We also needed a 220 outlet in our garage for my wifeā€™s kiln for pottery. All was done quickly and left clean. The job was so well done. I would highly recommend him.     We reached out to Roth Electric when we had some challenges installing some dimmer switches in our house. From the time when we reached out until the time when they arrived to help us out was less than 24 hours, though it should be noted that we got lucky because they had a cancelation and were able to give us that spot. Upon arrival they were very friendly and professional, they came in and fixed our issues quickly and efficiently, and their rates were very reasonable. We will absolutely be using them again if we have needs for electrical work in the future!

    We hired Jason to replace our old, out of code electrical panel and to put in some can lights and extra outlets. During the quote the first thing that stuck out to us was that he saw a code issue with the placement of our original panel and before even sending the quote to us he checked with an inspector to determine if the placement was going to be an issue, none of the other electricians we had quotes from even mentioned the issue. The improvements made to our home were done quickly and with no mess left behind. Jason is an awesome electrician and his pricing was incredibly reasonable, we will be hiring him for all electrical projects in the future.
