Chris and his crew did an exceptional job. Chris was very thorough during the quoting process and went over every last detail with me. My job landed on the Monday after hurricane Helene, so Chris was juggling emergency calls at the same time. He stayed in constant contact (as best as he could considering the circumstances) and still completed my job over the course of two days rather than the original plan of one day (it was communicated to me before and during the job that they would need to pivot a bit to accommodate those in need after the storm). I really appreciated the communication I received, as well as his willingness to get the job done no matter what. The finished product is amazing. Very professional and clean. 3 Words: WORLDS BEST ELECTRICIAN. Phenomenal service, excellent communication, competitive pricing. Chris was phenomenal from start to finish! He completely rewired our two cabins (from poor electricians past), installed brand new outlets, dimmers, lights and fixtures (were talking recessed, pendants, chandeliers, wall sconces...you name it) with several custom design projects along the way that required master level proficiency that even the most seasoned and expert-level electricians would be challenged by. During the remodel process, there were countless times where I thought something couldnt be done...and Chris was truly ready for any challenge I threw his way. Chris work ethic and mastery of the trade blew us away time after time, job after job - but what is even more impressive are his uncommonly excellent communication skills and his natural ability to put clients at ease. When you buy a home you never know what you’re going to find with the existing electrical system even if you have a home inspection, especially a home that has gone through several extensive renovations that span decades. Chris came out and looked at my entire system of circuits, solved some mysteries, alerted me to potential hazards and corrected them. He identified areas that while not unsafe, could be improved for aesthetics and operational efficiency. He is thorough with his work, an excellent communicator, prompt, and kept me informed through his entire inspection process and also while doing the repairs. I have a few improvements planned that will require new electrical lines and will definitely have Chris back again to perform that work. His pricing is fair and he offers a variety of clearly explained payment options. I highly recommend him and his company.

We were extremely pleased with Avodah Electric! They installed an electric vehicle wall connector in our garage. When Chris did the estimate he explained in detail what he would do to address the lack of capacity in our electrical panel. Everything, including materials & labor, was itemized in a written estimate. Chris & Austin worked together efficiently and were very professional and personable. We enjoyed meeting them. They finished more quickly than estimated and adjusted the cost accordingly. The estimate and work appointments as well as payment methods were set up electronically & so easy. Chris communicated frequently with us regarding his estimated arrival times for both appointments. I have a large chandelier that hasn’t worked since I bought my home over two years ago. Three separate electricians have tried to diagnose and fix the problem. I was just chatting with Chris about the problem when he was installing a cooktop at another home. He wanted to look at my big chandelier problem. He crawled into the hot attic, spent over an hour and figured it out. After ordering a few parts, he fixed the chandelier. I was over joyed. He is the one and only electrician who really listened to my problems with the light and spent the time and effort to figure it out. Highly recommended

Chris and Austin were GREAT! I had an electrical project that needed to be done. Called Chris and he was one of the 1st to respond to work up a quote. I received a few quotes. Chris gave me a quote that was fair. I decided to use them because he asked multiple questions about the project and requested some pictures so he could get a full scope of the project. He kept me informed of what he planned to do in terms of ordering materials and exactly when he could fit my project into his schedule. He had an opening and was able to complete the job within about a week. Professionalism, communication, punctuality, fairness and responsiveness are major factors when deciding on a contractor. This is the guy you want to hire - period.I found Avodah Electric online after attempts to contact other electricians, indirectly through Angie’s list and directly through calls and emails, were unsuccessful. Chris was quick to respond. He was kind and professional. He was up front about both costs as well as his extremely full/ demanding schedule. We all know folks who are truly skilled in their craft are in high demand and low supply.Chris set expectations up front and met all of his commitments.Our job requirements were on an existing 25 year old home. We required several existing circuits which were carrying too much load and needed to be rewired and/or split. We also had several new circuits/home runs which we wanted added so that certain appliances which carried more load could sit on their own breaker without tripping, including exterior lighting. And finally we had several distributed light switches/fixtures which we hoped could be controlled differently. Chris provided creative solutions to all of these issues.After reviewing our needs, Chris electronically sent an estimate for the work - and he also sent calendar invitations for the time he intended to spend at our home, so we knew exactly when he planned to do the work. He billed us electronically too - so he made everything as easy and seamless and possible.Chris completed everything he promised to do, in the time he said he would do it, and in our case under budget - although we knew that estimates are just that and that problems can/do arise where costs and hourly time can exceed initial plans. Months since he completed our job, we have been very happy with his work.We have worked with many contractors over the years and Chris is the model of what you want your experience and outcome to be.If you are considering hiring him for a job, you should. Should I need an electrician again, he’ll be my first call.
