We just purchased our first EV and wanted to install a Chargepoint level 2 charger. We scheduled an appointment for today at 2:00 pm. One of my sons and I had an unexpected trip come up, and we were planning to leave late this afternoon.Our electrician, Zach, was in the neighborhood a little before 1:00 pm, and he took a chance that I was available. I was very grateful that he came early, and we discussed what we needed to have done.We talked through the options, and we decided to go with a hardwire 60A installation for their standard charger installation rate. The cost was at the very low end of what we were expecting, and he was able to do the work today. I happily accepted.Our garage has drywall, but its not finished. Zach mentioned that hed need to drill through it to get to the outside service and noted that he would try to keep the impact to the drywall minimal. I told him that its OK if there was some damage.He cut out a small square in the drywall and proceeded with the rest of the inside installation. When he finished, he braced and reinstalled the small square that he cut. Hardly noticeable--fantastic!We then went back out to the outside service panel, and he connected in the new breaker. His wiring was tidy and efficient. He then flipped the breaker on--so far, so good. We went back into the garage, and voila, the charger had power. I plugged it into our new EV, and it worked.To my recollection, we hadnt used Chadwick for any electrical work prior to this, but based on Zachs expertise, great work, and pleasant demeanor, they will definitely be our first call for any future electrical work.

Recommend Chadwick and we will use them again. Blake and Zach did good work at our house. Had a small glitch with our microwave getting impacted by an unexpected power surge, but Tad took care of the replacement without hesitation and Blake installed it for minimal inconvenience to us. Overall, good prices, good work and I was impressed by the company standing behind their work and quickly resolving an issue.

We had a great experience with Chadwick, specifically Blake and Reuben. They were both professional, kind, honest and did exactly what they said they were going to do. We had to get them in our house to repair some poor workmanship of another company in town and also to add a few things here and there. They did a great job. They are a little pricier than some other folks in town but, as we learned the first time around [going with a cheaper company and having to hire Chadwick Electric afterwards to fix their mistakes], you get what you pay for. Blake was a great communicator. We made lots of decisions via text which made things easy, and the whole process was just stress-free. Very happy customer!

Chadwick Electric was fantastic! Prompt communication, fair pricing- did a great job. Many electricians would not touch our historic home because of the older electric (knob and tube) but Chadwick Electric didnt shy away- very professional, very competent. Will hire them again for our next electric project!!
