    We started with having a French drain put in a sidewalk off the garage at end of downspout several years ago where ice dams would build up in winter. We were impressed with the work and the cost to have David of Sawdust and Stone Builders do it. Because of the quality workmanship and ease of working with David and Nikki, and their crew, we knew we would hire him to do our decks and paver walkway over this past year. We had a Trex deck built last year off the back of our house under our large pergola. Again, amazing work. Absolutely beautiful, a great place to spend time, and so much easier to shovel snow off of. We just recently had a Trex deck extension built onto the deck in back that David built last fall. Then had him build a 2-level Trex deck with steps off the front door, where we had a very small and outdated concrete front porch with concrete steps bordered with old deteriorating RR ties. This was finished off nicely with a paved walkway from the deck to the driveway where an old concrete split walk was before. David and his crew are perfectionists and are a pleasure to work with. We cant speak highly enough about the quality of workmanship, Davids knowledge, and the smoothness of the entire process from presenting our vision and drawings, to demolition, to completion. We highly recommend Sawdust and Stone Builders for any project.

    NEW PROJECT 2023. David and the team completed renovated / rebuilt a condo we own that was completely destroyed in a flood from the condo upstairs. The design work, build work, and project management were all outstanding. They are clear about costs, stick to the budget, are great at finding solutions, and operate with the highest integrity. Thank you to all at Sawdust and Stone.PROJECT 1 2022 David and the team were fantastic to work with from beginning to end of our renovation projects. They completely renovated 2 fireplaces. Including custom stonework, and a bathroom remodel (down to the studs, moved a window, created new cabinets, a new shower etc). The quality of work was evident every day. David had great ideas, problem solved really well and was just very patient throughout. We would recommend them without hesitation.

    In November, 2023, I purchased a condominium in Fort Collins, CO. It is located in the Mid-town West area on Centre Avenue. As soon as possible, I commenced 3 revitalization projects: 2 bathroom remodels and a patio expansion. Fortunately for me, I found Sawdust and Stone Builders. Owned by Nikki and David Perez, Sawdust and stone was the perfect company for my projects. Here’s why:1.) Ease of collaboration and communications - David, Nikki and I always seemed to be on the same page. We all wanted an extraordinary result and that’s exactly what they produced. Communications were both professional and personable. That helped the work to be done in a stressless fashion. The team at Sawdust and Stone are very responsive to calls and inquiries - usually same day.2.) Creativity - By and large, Their ideas and opinions were useful, tasteful and creative.3.) Organization and attention to details - Once the concepts were in place and the job commenced, Sawdust and Stects rolled straight forward to completion. It was all very smooth.4.) Work ethic - The team displays a keen focus on the work and its’ completion. Not a lotta coffee breaks or fooling around. There were no delays for mateials, crew or working another projects.5.) Work product - Wow. Their results are fantastic. All the projects look amazing. I could not be happier.Overall, Sawdust and Stone helped steer the projects in the right directions during conceptual stage, produced great looking results with a stressless interface. I think I could not have made a better choice.

    I was needing some repair work done on my outdoor back stairs and garden beds, which were constructed with stone; chipped and loose mortar and even loose stones. Sawdust and Stone Builders seems to be one of the few that take on smaller, residential jobs/repairs that I needed in the area, and I couldnt be happier with the result that they did! Before and during the work, I could call, text or email and Nikki would answer my questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. In addition, even after the work was completed, they answered a couple of questions that came up and put my mind at ease. I would definitely use them again and would refer them to my friends and family.

    We engaged David to assist with a massive residential fence project after seeing Sawdusts beautiful work on two other properties in our development. David and his team built a 90 masonry fence for noise reduction and enclosed the rest of our yard in a beautiful cedar plank, to include a vehicle gate on one side. The work has transformed our back yard into a wonderful quiet place for our family to hang out. Highly recommend David and his team.

    David and Chance have done some great work for us. They poured/built an entirely new shower pan and tiled our very large walk-in shower for our bathroom remodel. It turned out great and the water drains perfectly. They also replaced our 2 exterior doors, I now have a beautiful new front door and French doors in the back. Communication is great, they are willing to listen to your ideas and work with you. I will call on Sawdust and Stone when I have another project.

    David and Chance were so great to work with! We’ve done many small projects in our home and the stone around our fireplaces and wall were the last phases of construction. Comparing to working with other contractors, David was, by far, the best we’ve ever worked with! His overall demeanor and attitude towards our project was “that it’s your project, make it what you want” and we’ve experienced with other contractors, them making it the way they wanted it. I would 100% recommend these guys for any project and hope we get another opportunity to work with them again!

    David and the team provided us with a detailed home inspection prior to the sale and subsequently provided extremely valuable advice as we planned and carried out the remodel. He has provided extensive assistance, sometimes doing the work himself and with his crew (the second generation of the family business), and sometimes guiding us and enabling us to complete portions ourselves. David and family are intelligent, competent, and thorough, and I highly recommend!

    David and Sawdust and Stone did my deck in my back yard. It was a rather large job, (40 x 20) but David & co was up to the task.He spent 5 days on it once it got to construction time. But before that he sat down with us and helped us draw out exactly what we wanted! It took me by surprise that a small business owner would go so far to do this. He walked us through what our best vision would look like. Gave us his personal input on the design and the result was stunning! We couldnt be happier with the finished result.
