Eric Winne recently completed two built ins for our home. Our first opportunity to share them with friends and family was over Thanksgiving. And they were a both a smash hit!The assignment for our living room was to hide some unsightly electronics in cabinets and make shelving and lighting that would be an asset to the great room. For the den, we wanted to better utilize the existing closet space, add a place for a small fridge and some storage in a more casual, media room.Eric listened really carefully to our goals and needs, showed us useful pictures of his own work and others for reference, provided drawings and samples of wood. He designed everything. He stepped us through all our questions and concerns with patience, expertise and professionalism. We couldn’t be happier with the results.Eric will always be our first stop on fine furniture, cabinetry and all things wood. And btw, he takes great pride in his work and will not leave a project until it meets his very high standards.

I loved working with Eric! I think he is a phenomenal carpenter. He creates functional pieces that are also really beautiful. Great attention to detail. He has completely transformed our home and breathed new life into it. I cannot recommend him enough!

Eric helped us create the perfect custom kitchen remodel for our old quirky farm house. He is easy to work with, and produces a very high quality product. He has excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship, listened to our needs throughout the process, and helped us design a great pantry with tons of storage. He was extremely kind and professional and was a pleasure to work. We loved the work so much we had him come back to do our bathroom vanities as well. The rustic walnut was exactly what we were looking for in the bath and we couldnt be happier with the end result.

Eric designed and built custom cabinets for us in our primary bathroom. They are excellent quality and are just beautiful. I am a Realtor and have seen thousands of cabinets in homes. Standard manufactured cabinets (even from well-known makers) are mass produced and do not hold a candle to Eric’s custom designs and stains. He was reasonably priced, on time and always responsive. We highly recommend this company and are still very happy after over two years post-installation. We will most definitely be hiring him to help with our kitchen cabinets next.

Eric became a partner in our home improvement project, designing bookcases, cabinets, and entertainment center for our living room. He met every deadline he promised, our beautiful green cabinets are in our garage, awaiting his installment once other elements of the project are complete. My wife and I had a vague idea of what we wanted our kitchen to look like and Eric took what was important to us and created a design that maximized our space and transformed our kitchen from ordinary to remarkable.High Country Fine Furniture has a thorough knowledge of material and walked us through the benefit and draw backs associated with each material.Eric gave us a schedule from the start and was spot on with his delivery and his install was seamless. I have had a few jobs done in my house and I can say it is a relief to have a contractor who is true to his word and treats your home with respect.At completion there was even surprise features to our cabinets that Eric was able to conceive while making the cabinets like hidden cutting board storage in our mobile island.I have also used Eric for kitchen remodels in my rental properties where I had a very tight budget and he was able to come up with creative solutions to meet that budget and still provide the quality High Country is known for.I unequivocally give my recommendation to High Country Fine Furniture for any of your cabinetry or woodworking needs.

Eric took our design for a 10’x9’ built-in cabinet for our master bedroom and created a masterpiece! Eric was professional from the beginning to the end of the project. He made design suggestions that added to the beauty of the piece, including a custom white oak cabinet interior. He sent photo updates as it was being built and even made a custom paint match for us to coordinate with our existing trim. There were no delays in the installation process. Eric even referred us to an electrician to ensure outlets were able to be incorporated seamlessly in the piece. We will definitely be contacting him in the future for all our custom carpentry needs.

Eric made, and installed a very large bookcase for me on one of my walls. It is absolutley beautiful ! I highly recommend him. You will not be dissapointed. His work is excellent, and you would be hard pressed to find anyone who could do a better job.

Eric created two gorgeous bathroom vanities for our home. We wanted something custom where we could be intentional with the materials used. He took the time to answer questions and explain his process. He’s professional, honest and we felt like we were in good hands.While he built the vanities, he updated us on the construction along the way. Upon delivery, we were blown away with the quality. The attention to detail and the care he put into both pieces were obvious.We hope to work with High Country Fine Furniture again on future projects!
