    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Mike at Element Hardwood Flooring knocked it out of the park. He got my high-traffic main floor sanded and finished in less than half a day, and it looks solid—like it’s built to last. I wasn’t expecting it to turn out this good, but the guy knows his stuff. Plus, a 10-year warranty? That’s legit. Appreciate the great work, Mike—highly recommend!

    I trusted Micheal because he responded quickly to my request for an estimate for my stairs and explained to me what my options were. He suggested flooring to match what I already have (he used hickory to go with my existing floor). I thought I wanted vinyl on the stairs - I am so glad that I went with hickory like he suggested! My stairs are BEAUTIFUL! Micheal does a clean, neat job (he kept his vacuum running to catch the dust) and finished the stairs in a way so they would not feel slippery to me. Job well done! I highly recommend!

    Michael fit me into their schedule for a last minute hardwood floor finishing job. He worked with me through a few hiccups on the first day (completely my fault), and was able to finish our floors in time for us to stay on schedule moving into the home. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone. The floors look amazing and Michael was great to work with.

    Refinishing my hardwood floors turned out to be a much bigger undertaking than I expected. I got quotes from different flooring repair companies and went with Element Hardwood because Michael was willing to work with me on my timeline for the renovation and came in quite a bit more affordable than most of the other companies I spoke to. There were significant repairs that needed to be done including a demolition and repair of a small 100 sq ft section of kitchen that was installed after the original cabinetry which I had removed. The new section of floor ties in perfectly with the old and looks perfect. The refinishing of the rest of the house was quick and easy and I was surprised at how dustless the process was. My wife loves the new floors and I do to. Thanks again Michael!

    We met with 3 different contractors before we selected Element Hardwood. Michael was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable about what he could do. We were trying to blend 2 wood floors...one very dark birch and one honey oak into one cohesive look. The others said it couldnt be done. Michael delivered !! We left the floors natural with a matte finish and they are stunning! They now flow together as one. He was very easy to work with, prompt, great attention to detail, virtually dust free, left our space neat and clean each day and delivered as promised ! We would highly recommend Michael Horner and Element Hardwood.

    Michael and the Element Flooring team did an amazing job on our hardwood floors. One would never guess that there were three big dogs running around, scratching up the floors – they look like new. Actually, they probably look even better than new.     We had received quotes from a total of 4 different hardwood installers and decided to go with Element Hardwood since they had competitive pricing to the others, but also because they could give us the exact finish we wanted. Michael was great to work with, very responsive to questions or concerns throughout the process. They had 800 sq. feet of hardwood installed in less than a day and were great about clean up and not damaging the walls during install. Another day and a half of sanding, staining and finishing and the floors look amazing. We are very satisfied and would recommend Element Hardwood Flooring to anyone looking for hardwood floor installation and finish. Im still re-finishing our baseboards but will post pictures of it once I get those finished and reinstalled. Thanks!

    Michael & Element Hardwood Flooring did an amazing job at re-finishing our existing hardwood floors. I read the other reviews which stated his work would be dustless, but I was still skeptical. I was amazed when we returned home after the first day of sanding work to find ZERO dust around our house. He finished the job on time & on budget and answered all of our questions along the way. I highly recommend Element Hardwood Flooring.

    That looks relatively simple -me, after watching like, 6 YouTube videos on refinishing your hardwood floors.So I embarked on refinishing my hardwood floors. Myself. In just a few days. After which Id be leaving for a week of work on the other side of the country. It was messy. And a lot of work. ...And when I got back from my work trip, I realized how terrible it really looked.I swallowed my pride and called Michael at Element. I explained the situation, and Michael didnt judge me at all (though he certainly wouldve been within his right to do so). He made it a priority to come over and take a look, and after he gave me a quote I was happy with, he fit my job in around his already scheduled (well in advance) work so that my life wouldnt be too interrupted (our furniture was out on the back porch).I watched the process he took, which was similar to mine, but with much better tools and *clearly* a lot more attention to detail (seriously, the other reviews that say no dust! are not hyperbole). Element didnt just fix my wood floors: they made them look better than they did when they were first installed, by using products that would really make my floor look great, instead of whatever was cheapest/easiest. On top of that, Michael worked hard and turned the job around really quickly.I hate having people come and work on my house, because its almost never done with the care that I have, in the timeframe promised. Element became the AMAZING outlier that I had assumed existed, but had never before experienced. Michael and his team were awesome. When I need to do the flooring elsewhere in the house, Ill be calling them again without hesitation.

    We couldnt be happier going with Michael and Element Flooring. Our house has 52 year old hardwood floors that were never finished but rather had carpet on top. After pulling up the carpet and pads I was skeptical. Michael had no worries and totally transformed the house with great looking floors.2 factors made choosing Element Flooring a no-brainer. First, Michael said he doesnt completely fill the schedule so he can always help people on short notice. This was our case. He got us in on a weeks notice during the busy remodel season. He personally came out and did the job. Second, on the spot interactive estimate. Rather than waiting a day or 2 for an emailed estimate he completes it right there and you can adjust your project on the fly.Michaels work is top notch, he is by far the most flexible hardwood refinisher, and he was very helpful with advice on what else to do to sell our house.Shopping around will only reaffirm your choice to go with Element Flooring Co.

    Im a little late with my review, but Id be lying if I said that wasnt purposeful. I wanted to give the floor time to see how everything held up. Overall, we are more than satisfied with the job that Micheal did. The floor looks tremendous, you cant see any sanding marks at all, anywhere. The stain came out gorgeous, and the high traffic poly has been an excellent addition. We got along with Michael, and found him to be very personable, and easy to get a hold of. I have recommended him to several of my clients, and wouldnt hesitate to use his services again.

    Element is the type of company that you wished you picked the first time to install your hardwood floors. We had originally picked another local company who did a good job installing the wood but they were a disaster when they sanded and tried to stain it. The original company did such a poor job that we had to fire them and select a new provider. That was when we hired Element Flooring to come to our rescue. Michael did a fantastic job, correcting all of the mistakes and staining the floors perfectly. Michael with Element came in quickly, did his magic on the floors and the end result is pristine. No one will touch our hardwood floors in the future except Element Flooring!

    We had a great experience with Element Flooring. Nothing is ever “perfect” with a big project and we had challenges. What I like about Element is the attention they pay to details and commitment to our satisfaction. Michael Horner took the time to answer our questions, to offer options and recommendations that gave us the chance to have an amazing refinish job. He also has been very responsive to minor issues and questions about floor care and maintenance to ensure we can maintain the beauty and durability of the floors. I highly recommend Element and their crew for your floor refinishing needs. Not every company is willing to listen but Element took the time to support us and work with us in the middle of our move and delivered great results.
