They did some plumbing work for me to resolve a leak that my smart meter was telling me I had. I also got a PRV installed to reduce my high water pressure (been thinking about getting one for years because I have high water pressure where I live in Lantana). They had to dig up and find my customer shut-off because it was buried... so now I can actually use my customer shut-off with a new lever handle (which was also raised so I can actually reach it now).When all that was done, they were able to isolate my leak to the water meter connection and a cracked plastic fitting (thank goodness it was not under my slab).And they did all this significantly cheaper than if I had used a big name company... and to top it off, I got a 5 year warranty on the workmanship and parts, including PRV. The big guys told me they would only give a 1 year warranty.

We experienced significant leakage from the tanks for our hot water system. Found Joshua and DR Plumbing on the FM site and he was at our house 20 minutes after I spoke to him. We currently lease and it turns out the owner wanted to use his appliance warranty company so I was not able to have Josh fix the problem. However, I wish i could have! I vary rarely have experienced such efficient and professional service. Josh was pleasant, knowledgeable, and gave us, and the owner, great advice. He said hed be able to begin the repairs today. Now, who knows how long we will have to wait! Sorry Joshua, but thank you anyway.

I just wanted to brag about the wonderful experience we had with DR Plumbing. We called after hours, and someone was able to call us back that evening. We had an issue with the pilot light being out on our water heater. They came to our home at the said time and not only took care of our issue but also helped us with an unrelated issue. They did not have to do this. We were not only impressed with their work but also with their kindness. We will definitely use them in the future. They come highly recommended. Most of the time a family business owned company esp. the local ones are just the same as the “big guys” company when they deliver the job well done. But certainly, you just have to be careful with your search bcoz not all of them are “created equal” re: bonded & insured just in case there is a problem arise later on. Last week of Aug. 2023 we had a gas leak. Our useless AHS Home Warranty Insurance appointed us with their plumbing vendor (based in Royse City) who tried to ripped us off just to do the “advance leak test” (bcoz they “cannot determined” where exactly was the leak) and permit from the City also be paid by the house owner??? First off, to call for the service you are to pay upfront $125. to make an appointment with their affiliated vendor and you are stuck with them no matter how bad they are with their job). I fired them both. And so, we looked and hired a local plumbing company in our area. We were glad we did. Our experience with D R Plumbing in Flower Mound was fine. From the owner Josh, his crew Adam & Greg. They solved our gas leak concern. Josh was honest to tell me, we do not need to waste time with that “advance leak test” bcoz the pipe were old (in fairness, it is true bcoz our house built in the 80’s) and accdg. to him, if they were just to do the patching (which is a temporary solution to the issue), and later on we are going to have same problem why, go with that option? and so he gave me a fair estimate to do (all included) the job, materials, & the City permit which was couple of hundred less than the AHS Warranty (DO NOT get house warranty esp. this AHS Warranty Ins. Co. they are useless & a waste of money paying ‘em premium monthly and when problem arise in your house, you don’t get nothing but add to your headache & stress). Called up Josh at D R Plumbing and they were by first thing in the morning next day even while it was raining and they were able to diagnose, and replace the damaged segment of the main sprinkler pipe the same day within two hours. Overall, very happy with them and will call them again if needed for any plumbing needs. Fair and competitive pricing based on my calls to several plumbers in the area. Also provides free estimates.

I can’t say enough about Dr Plumbing. The owner stopped by same day for an estimate to convert 2 hot water heaters to one tankless system. Our estimate was more than fair and Josh took time to explain the equipment being used. We thoroughly enjoyed his visit. 2 days later our system is installed. The installers were just as knowledgeable and professional as the owner. While the install was underway, the owner stopped by to check everything. While testing our system he found a problem with our garden tub that happened years ago. He took a picture of the broken part and volunteered to fix it. Dr Plumber is one of the best home repair experiences we’ve had. We’ll never use anyone else.

My home was built in the 60s and has had some waste/water coming up in the front yard. We texted D.R. Plumbing and received a response within minutes. We explained the issue, and they were able to come out the next day. We live in NRH (but I’m originally from Flower Mound) so we were happily surprised that they service our area. They were punctual and even gave a 15-min out “heads up” text. They diagnosed the issue and explained it in a way that I could understand being a new homeowner. Our system involves older clay piping and our yard contains a giant tree with very involved roots. They were very knowledgeable on how to fix the issue, and they were very clear and upfront on how much everything would cost. The pricing was fair. They even helped us fix a clogged sink while they were here to diagnose the main problem. They were professional and caring, and we will be using them to complete the repairs soon.

Josh was very responsive to my call and did a very professional job of fixing my water leak caused by a corroded pipe in the wall. Based on the condition of the pipe, I decided to use him to replace all my hot water piping via running pix through my attic. We suspected that my tankless hot water heater, which was not installed properly. was constantly recycling and causing a problem with all my hot water pipes. In addition, I asked Josh to replace my tankless hot water heater with a Navien, which he recommended. All of this work was done by Joshs team in a very professional manner, and Josh went out of his way to make sure this work was done to my satisfaction. I just received my invoice for the water heater, and I want to change my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars! Josh and his team are superstars! They really know what they are doing when it comes to complex plumbing issues. Josh is a master plumber and that will speak for itself! I will not use any other plumber from now on. I recommend Josh and his team for excellent customer service, professionalism, and Knowledge of the industry!

This company is fantastic. After our hot water heater blew and we couldn’t get the previous company we’d worked with to even consider coming out on a weekend, and then trying another company that literally advertises “same day hot water heater replacement”, I fortunately found Josh. He answered immediately on a Sunday morning, had someone out a couple of hours later to provide a temporary fix, and had the unit replaced by Monday.But where this company REALLY stood out is we had an issue that was difficult to diagnose, and didn’t necessarily make a lot of sense that it might have been connected to the hot water heater. Instead of blowing us off like so many others would have, he stayed just as responsive, and sent out an electrician TWICE to ensure the problem was resolved, which in fact had nothing to do with the service he’d provided rather it was a bad circuit breaker. That is absolute next level service, and as such he’s the only person we will use in the future.We didn’t have to go through a contact center, I could communicate with him in my preferred methodology (text), and he didn’t charge for either the initial service appointment or other of the follow ups which he would have been well within his rights to do and frankly I expected him to do so.You just don’t find folks like this any more. He’s one we’ll hold onto and very much share with friends and neighbors! Thanks for all you do.

When I asked the charge he said if its just removing the pipe to get to the necklace, no charge. Josh is a man of his word. We have historically used one of the big companies and felt that we were way overcharged for simple issues. We called DR Plumbing yesterday at 6pm - they were here at 8:15 this morning, fixed our issue quickly and didn’t charge us an arm and a leg. We now have a new plumber! Thank you!!

I had a water heater issue I woke up to.....No fun to say the least. I hit online to check reviews. I called one other place and no answer or call back. The reviews were awesome for this company and someone actually answered the phone When I called. Then he was at my house within an hour. Walked me thru my issue and answered my questions. Then went and got the parts and installed them and fixed everything same day!! Definitely recommending them. Also found out he is a local Flower Mound business owner too. Bonus points to support local companies. Thanks!!

After being completely exasperated with a failure on my home warranty companys part to secure a plumber for a backed up system for 4 days I was encouraged to call John. He made it out to the house, identified and resolved the issue within 2 hours. I will definitely use them again, hopefully not for backed up sewage... eek!
