So we awoke this morning and found water coming out our downstairs toilet and up the drain for the shower. I had an outpatient medical procedure to get too and my wife was taking me, so needless to say we didn’t need these water issues this morning. Not knowing who to call my wife called ten places and no one would help us out. Then she got a hold of Root-A-Way and the lady she talked to was very friendly and helpful and said they could send someone over this afternoon. They did better than that! We got back back later this morning and James was already here and starting to diagnose the problem! James was excellent! Not only did he find the problem and quickly fix it, but he also fixed one of the attachment bolts to our toilet. He was nice, friendly, personable, and cleaned up the area after he was done! We also were charged a fair price for all this quick/responsive, knowledge, friendly, and professional service! If you are thinking of using this company we would highly recommend it! We will definitely be using them again!!

Update 11/15-Root-A-Way has impressed once again! Shaun came out to fix an issue that has been on going for quite a bit of time now. He came out to personally make sure the job was done correctly! I called them out because my sink drain pipe kept falling off & thought we had a clog. Our tech, James, was here in 1/2 hour. It just turned out to be the pipe drain screw came off with the pressure valve pipe causing water to run out everywhere.James fixed it & made sure the water was draining down the pipe in the basement. No clog, yay! The price was so affordable, thank you James for being such an honest person, I have already started referring them to family.

They normally come out the same day if you call before noon. Ive called them twice in the past 2-3 years and on both occasions, they fixed the issues, cleaned up after themselves, & also each time it cost around $110 to unclog my clogged basement pipe.

Called Root A Way after our basement flooded for the second time following a previous company coming out and basically scamming us on cost. Spoke with a female on the phone at Root A Way who was extremely helpful and professional. Within a couple hours, on an extremely busy schedule due to flooding rain water, James showed up and fixed the problem instantly. Our basement is now dry and thanks to James and the crew at Root A Way we can now start our restoration process. Highly recommend for anyone having issues.

UNBELIEVEABLE! Our church in Holly had a drain obstruction. Not complete, but after a while slow flush etc. So, we called a recommended drain cleaner to snake the line to the street. They ran 100ft of snake and it did not clear the line. We told them that about 15 years ago the same thing happened, and one 100ft snake did not clean it, but when they went and got another 100ft the 200ft cleared the line. They told us that there was supposed to be a cleanout every 70 ft and that we would have to have one installed, recommended a service that would install one for $5000, left without fixing anything and charged us full price.So, I called Root-A-Way, and told them we need 200ft of snake put in our line. They said the cost was $350, and they could do it the next morning. Two men and two trucks showed up right on time and ran the 200ft of snake, but it still did not clean the line. They said it would have to be jetted, which they would do for $400. But since they did not clear the blockage, ONLY CHARGED US A $100 SERVICE CALL FEE, not the full $350. About an hour later a big truck and two men arrived, and ran over 250 ft of jet hose down the line, but still did not solve the problem, at which time the conclusion was it was really the Village part of the system that was at fault. Even though they stayed quite a while to talk to the village person, they still only charged us a $250 service charge because they did not fix it. The village finally concluded that the problem was in their part of the line, and it is now fixed.The bottom line is Root-A-Way did everything and more to justify charging the full amount both times, but only charged us the service charge because they were unable to clear the line, even though it was not their fault.

The main sewer line was so backed up that it was causing flooding in the basement from the bathroom toilet. He arrived on time, was straight forward and honest about the pluming problems, he had the blockage cleared and the new toilet ring installed in just over an hour! He checked the line afterwards by running water thoroughly to check for more blockage. Everything was working fine. He saved me from a pesky plumbing company that was ready to dig up my backyard and replace pipes that were perfectly fine. Thank you James for helping me save 5k. I feel like I just hit the lotto!

We had been having a horrible time with our septic line for about a month. We had American Sewer Cleaners out here 4 times in one month. They still couldnt find the problem. We were at our wits end. The drain tile under my basement floor backed up causing water to seep into my basement during heavy rains. I called root-away and they sent Mike out the same day to assess my issues. I had these guys come out to my house that I just purchased that had a terribly clogged drain. The water was backed up all the way to the kitchen sink from the down stairs. The technician ahawn was able to remove the clog without opening the pipe and spilling water. He was very professional and quick. Great service. Capable technicians who explain what they are doing as they try to diagnose the problem. Good prices and honest people. Some customers can never be pleased some of these reviews are ridiculous. People dont understand plumbing sometimes and get confrontational and disgruntled. They go above and beyond, call root a way if you have a problem. Generally you dont pay if they dont solve the problem. Sometimes they do still charge but you have to pay for a service.

Our basement started backing up with sewage, it was so bad the National Guard deployed a 24-Hour infantry unit to stack sandbags around the house. We tried things to try to clear it but to no avail, so we called Root-A-Way. They sent out Jerimyah and, in the immortal words of John Lennon; That man is a working-class hero. He showed up and simply put dropped the hammer of Thor on that clog, and it was not worthy.10/10 would recommend.

Quicker and cheaper! I had American Sewer here to unclog a drain two days ago. Today it backed up again. We called them at 1:00pm and they said they couldnt get to us until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. I didnt see that one comin. We called Root-A-Way about 2:30pm. They were here before 3:00 and the cost was fifteen dollars cheaper than American Sewer. They will have my business from now on. I strongly recommend them.

James initially came out on Memorial Day when our sewer line backed up. It happened again last night. I lost the invoice he gave me with the 30 day warranty. They waived the fees and hinored the warranty.They sent him out again and he got the roots that were causing the backup. He is very professional, knows what hes doing and very helpful. Thank you James ! I highly recommend this company.
