Chris The Master Electrician was amazing!! I lost power last night due to an issue with my electrical system and I had another electrician who was supposed to come out and was extremely delayed. When they did arrive they quoted me $1700 to restore my power. Since they were so delayed I had already scheduled for McChesney Electric to come out.Chris arrived not too long after the rival company. He was very polite and offered to leave in case we no longer needed him, but my husband decided to get a second opinion, since he was already here. Thank God that we did. Chris was able to repair it for $450 and will be back soon to complete the job and we were quoted $600 for the rest.His professionalism and knowledge was greatly appreciated and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs any electrical work done. Especially Chris specifically. Thank you so much!Also as an aside I really appreciated how nice and personable the young lady who answered the phone to schedule for a tech to come out was. She was amazing!!Update:Chris came back out to complete the job as scheduled and did an amazing job. It was done within the time and price quoted to me. I have and will continue to recommend this location if anyone is ever in need of an electrician!

The McChesney crew re-wired our entire house after a fire a few years ago and I have been meaning to write this review. Their electricians were skilled, knowledgeable, competent, and personable. Would definitely call on them for any future electrical issues and would refer them in a heartbeat to any family or friends having electrical issues. Its refreshing to see a company that cares about their customer base and cares about the quality of their work and their workforce.😊

The best electricians in the area by far - I bought a home that needed repairs quick and Chris, Bob, and Jane all made taking care of my issues their top priority. Just moved to the area and used McChesney Electric to ground our 2 prong outlets and move one of our outlets to a new location. Chris was professional, friendly, timely, and knowledgeable - he helped me pair our smart outlet to my phone. There was a tiny bit of dry wall dust on the ground from installing the new outlet and he vacuumed it up himself without even being asked. Excellent service, will hire again when needed :)

Electrical is the one piece of home repair I dont touch. I leave that to the pros. Glad I called McChesney - I was able to get an appointment very quickly for what I needed done. The technician was right on time (very important to me), professional, courteous and personable. Got the job done quickly at an even lower price than I was quoted on the phone which Ill never complain about, and overall provided a great experience.This was my second time using McChesney and wont be my last. I look forward to working with them next time I have any electrical needs moving forward!

I called McCheaney Electric with a non-emergency. On the day of the appointment the electrician walked through everything with me answered all my questions and fixed the issue. I didnt get the run around and I didnt get sold something I didnt need. I was very satisfied with the service and the price I was charged was fair. I highly recommend.

I had such a great experience with McChesney Electric. Chris came out to install some interior lights and he really went above and beyond. Im just in the process of moving in to this house and he did a walk through and found some loose wires that had the potential to be a safety hazard so he took care of those too. Anything I need in the future, I now know who to call!

I called McChesney because I had an issue where half of my home didnt have power. The day they came they told me they would be there between 2 and 5. They showed up at 2:01. Awesome. They figured out the problem, did some work at a couple outlets, and were gone within a half hour. The hourly price was the cheapest I found, and they waived the trip fee because I live in Ferndale! Ill definitely call them again if I ever need to, and Ill definitely recommend them to friends!

We have an older home, and electrical issues can become quite intimidating, but I trust McChesney Electric to get to the bottom of it. So far, the prices have been very reasonable. 👍

These guys are great. I was getting the runaround from DTE on electricity issues coming into my house. McChesney diagnosed what they couldnt in 5 minutes. They armed me with pictures and a clear write up of what was happening. And my DTE runaround came to a dead stop.

I have used McChesney for years for any electrical work in my home. The electricians they send always arrive on time, are professional, take extra time to explain the work theyre doing, and clean up after the work is done. Prices are stated up front and very fair. Ive had them out twice during the pandemic, and they wore masks and were conscious of safety measures. I cant recommend them enough.

Absolutely amazing experience. Would highly recommend. A storm caused a tree to fall on my roof. Because the tree damaged the electrical riser attached to my house, DTE said it was my responsibility to fix. Worse yet, the damage posed a potential fire hazard requiring immediate attention. It was after 3 p.m., on a Friday, of a long holiday weekend. After a dozen failed attempts, I called McChesney. Jane who took my call said she would get someone out there asap. Within the hour, the owner, Bob McChesney came to inspect the damage and determine what was needed. His crew showed up shortly thereafter. They did a great job and were very professional. I will be a customer for life.
