The team at Potts Electric is great. You can trust them to ensure everything is done up to code with all required permits. We recently had our panel upgraded and additional outlets added to our basement. So far everything is working well, if not better! Our water heater is functioning much better. We quickly discovered our old panel wasn’t tripping an overloaded breaker in the kitchen which could have been bad if left unchecked! The guys worked to ensure the job was completed in one day, even if they came to a standstill due to a downpour in the middle of the day. I truly appreciate that they took the time to label our breakers as well. We went from a barely legible panel to one we can use with ease. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Potts Electric did an outstanding job on bringing our home up to code. We really cannot say enough good things about our experience. We had received a quote from another company that was DOUBLE the price of Potts. Potts was punctual, professional, and got everything done in one day! I know they also had to coordinate things with the electric company (who wanted to put the project off until sept), but Troy advocated for us & got it done now (July) before our move. To bring us up to code, they had to not only update our breaker panel, but also raise outdoor wires. This meant going through our roof. I was really worried about how that would look, but it turned out better than I ever could have imagined. I will definitely use them in the future. Thanks guys!

They’re respectful, friendly, and didn’t “milk the job”. Finished result looks nice. They made sure to explain everything. They throughly went through the home making sure everything works as it should and labeled the panel neatly and easy to understand. Due to a concern I had, they even talked me through some other options available for my situation, and we changed the route I was going to originally take. 5 Stars isnt enough! When we had an electrical problem we called many electricians in our immediate area - not one was able to respond before January 1 - and most said after the 15th. I went thru the Google listings of electricians and came to Potts. They were willing to make the one-hour drive to reach our home and they worked us into their schedule right away. The electrician who made the repairs was friendly and tidy! He explained what had gone wrong, what was necessary to repair things, etc. And when we were given our bill, we were stunned. We expected to pay at least 5 times more than we were billed!Needless to say, if we need electrician, this is who we will call. We will tell all our family & friends to contact them as well.

He found a number of issues that were existing and offered a very fair and reasonable price to fix them. His crew showed up exactly when they said they would did the work to a wonderful standard. The work done was adding pot lights to the front room, adding a exhaust fan to a bathroom, changing out an entire electrical panel. Adding a ground for our house, and adding a electrical outlet for a dryer. It was a lot of work and they got it all done in one day.

He explained everything to me in great detail. His work was flawless! He had it up and running in about 5 or 6 hours, and that was with a trip for materials. I cant say enough great things about this company and the professionals who work there! Everyone is a 10 out of 10!Brandon was great!!! He came out to help me on a weekend. The price was very reasonable considering that fact. He was thorough when evaluating my electrical system (indoors and outdoors), listened to my needs, wasnt pushy and provided me with 3 estimates that covered everything we discussed. They offer financing AND offer transferable lifetime warranties which is rare to find. I highly recommend Potts Electric. The owner even got on the phone with me to talk through the estimates and to answer my questions....on a Saturday. Customer for life!

We lost power to about 1/4 of the house. Potts came out and discovered that the electrical panel was decades out of code, and part of it was a DIY project by the previous owners. Both of the techs that came out were personable, professional, diligent, and knowledgeable of their craft. Try as we might, we cant think of anything to complain about, and in fact have found our go-to electrician group for any issues we may have.

One of my bedroom switch breaker tripped due to the water dripping in the main panel. I called Potts Electric and they sent Chase on the same day to look at issue. He identified the problem caused by the outside panel was not properly sealed causing the water to enter the main panel. He fixed it and suggested to change the main panel because of the water damage and the age of the panel (18 years). He properly explained and recommended few options for me. Once I decided with the option given, he scheduled the appointment and came to replace the panel on the cold day which I appreciated. He did a great job replacing the panel and done it pretty quick too. He was being transparent about smoke detectors do not need to be replaced and deducted the cost. He ensure to clean up after work and very professional. I’m happy with the service provided by Chase and Potts Electric. Highly recommended!.

I needed my detached garage wired because the original underground line running from my house to the garage shorted out recently and my garage had no power. I decided to go with this company because of how professional and prompt their technician Nick was. They do charge for estimates so be aware of that but honestly I think with this type of work you get what you pay for. They werent the cheapest bid for my job but they were the most professional. There was a small snafu with communication about the inspection but the owners Cody and Felicia helped resolve everything. I can tell their company is growing rapidly which is nice to see for a local business. The inspection was scheduled a week after the job was completed and the city inspector passed it. Both technicians, Nick and Shawn were great by the way! Both very knowledgeable about electrical code and yes this company is licensed! :)

As an HOA Board Director, I was thrust into a MASSIVE emergency project that involves 144+ owners condominiums, Federal Pacific Panels, & AlumiCon updates. (My own included.)Potts Electric was contacted along with several other locally owned companies. The extent of the differences in SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM, & leaving a feeling of SAFETY/TRUST with me, was remarkable!1) They came to my house & removed panels, wall plates, outlets, etc whereas other companies only asked for photos (or less!) & quoted from such. (this is when I decided to utilize them for my personal tasks as well as the associations tasks of cataloging a special inspection that we needed ASAP.)2) I was assigned to a phenomenal project manager, Josh who has exceeded my expectations, already! He has been a work-horse! Seriously, I think he has an S shirt & cape on, under his Potts shirt! ;)3) Company OWNER involvement! Cody Potts was at my initial consult, owner meeting & more! Believe me, when you hold an emergency meeting of potentially 144+ angry homeowners, it is not a pretty sight to see. He handled their questions & concerns, & was able to assist us in showing them that there were solutions. I have had many homeowners tell me nothing but pleasantries about their Potts experiences, thus far!)4) TIMELY! I have not had that experience with some other vendors. Some have not even shown. Others slacked in getting estimates to me in a timely fashion.5) Financing available with multiple options. This was very appreciated because our project was sudden & expensive as well as with a very short time frame for completion. (Still in progress)6) Our project is many smaller jobs that are a part of a massive one. This has not created any chaos for Potts Electric. At least none that we see. None. That takes pressure off of ME.7) Office staff, especially Rose, have been exemplary with this very sudden & unusual project. We found what worked best for me, though it may have doubled their own work! (BIG thank you to Rose!)I seriously cannot GUSH enough about this company, thus far. I plan to update this review upon completion of the association project & my own panel change & AlumiCon updates.Side note: My son-in-law is a Master Electrician as well. He works for a company that does commercial work, only. He has also been impressed with the information that I have shared with him, regarding this progress. THAT made me even more impressed with Potts Electric. :)Edit to add: I would like to add that Rose & Christine (?) have been extremely helpful & have gone above & beyond in making MY work in this, a little easier. They have the patience of Saints when fielding my calls or replying to emails as I am in a tizzy trying to catalog everything.

Potts electric came highly recommended by a friend. We renovated a condo and needed an extensive overhaul. It’s always been difficult to find an electrician whom I’ve felt comfortable with along with an affordable and accurate estimate. Not only was I comfortable with Potts electric…they came in on budget and on time!! In this market, I needed accuracy and timeliness…Potts Electric went above and beyond to ensure our timeline was met!! I had recent troubles with my oven and a number of other issues throughout my home. Cody arrived Monday to give everything a good once over and then put together a number of detailed options to choose from. Luckily they were able to schedule the work that same week. Anthony and Tyler arrived on time and worked non-stop to get everything taken care of. Im very grateful I chose Potts electric because of their workmanship, customer service and warranty policies. I will be recommending them to others looking for electricians and will use Potts Electric for future electrical projects in my home.

I MUST!!! Recommend Potts Electric to anyone needing to get some work done on your home!! I was extremely impressed with the quality of work that they did for me. Cody was very professional and he communicated through the process. Told me exactly what I would need and stuck to the bid. He replaced a full breaker panel and installed a GFI and helped me with a bathroom fixture. He was very knowledgeable in the fact that he knew what procedures were to be followed for safety and even had some parts on his truck, which is rare for me to have a good electrician to work on my trailer. I already plan to be using him for some upcoming projects and I would say he will be my TOP recommendation for anyone else who asks me about an electrician. The tech, Nick, who came out was great. Very professional and did a great job. Nick even put a temp GFI outlet on to show my issue and we realized that I could solve the problem on my own. The owner, Cory was great to speak with and even waived the customary fee for me, due to the issue just being a bad replacement GFI outlet I bought on my own. It is always great when a local business owner takes the time to call you himself and speak with you. I will definitely use Potts again!!
