    Russell & Sam were amazing. This is the second time we have had to call an electrician to our home for various issues & after going with Brda Electric Inc the first time, we knew just who to call.     Considering an EV purchase so had Brda Electric come out for an assessment. They were referred by Qmerit which turned out to be a terrific option. Jennifer is very knowledgeable about EV charging needs and was very helpful explaining everything. Once the job was approved, Jennifer came back (which is nice to have the initial person back for the install) with Kyle to upgrade my panel and install the 240v outlet in the garage. They both are very professional and did a great job! I couldn’t ask for a better outcome! If you need electrical work, don’t hesitate to choose Brda Electric, Jennifer, and Kyle!

    Robert, Kyle, and Mikhail did a terrific job installing our car charger and updating our electric panels. Our house is brick and pretty old, yet the guys were able to install the charger right where we wanted it. Everything is working great and cleared inspection with no problems.

    Recently bought a home and discovered some very sloppy electrical work done by the sellers that was not up to code. I was able to get a consultation appt scheduled very quickly with the team at brda and they were very knowledgeable and provided an itemized list of everything not up to code. When they came to perform the work they were very professional and gave a walk through of all the work performed once they finished. The work was performed superbly and looked very clean and well done. I will definitely be calling them in the future if I have any other electrical needs.

    I just had Brda Electric install my new TESLA Powerwall System consisting of 3 TESLA Powerwall 3s with a TESLA Gateway to be used without Solar panels to take advantage of Time-Based power purchase to buy power at my home at Ameren Ultimate Saver rates without the need for any solar panels. The project could not have gone any better, all the way from sitting down with Adam Long, Brda Electric’s Project Manager, to discuss my needs and getting a detailed estimate and pricing, to signing the proposal and getting material on order.When it came time for installation, Jennifer, Brda Electric’s experienced TESLA Powerwall installation electrician, along with her crew consisting of Steve, Russell, and Mikhail worked tirelessly to ensure that all work was done per electrical codes.If you are interested in a TESLA Powerwall system with or without solar panels, I would highly recommend contacting Brda Electric and have them provide you with recommendations and pricing.

They were always very punctual with communication and their online payment system is super easy and convenient to use!     As a result of a storm, a tree fell in my backyard and knocked down my main power line and the riser. So I called BRDA Electric and was able to get an estimate and commitment to come out the same morning to get the job done thanks to both Richard’s. They sent out the most knowledgeable and kind Electrician by the name of David. David immediately asked if I needed to charge my IPhone and allowed me to do so in his truck. Very thoughtful gesture. He went to the backyard and looked things over and came back and told me what all needed to be done and that he was willing to work through the rain to get it done. So, of course, if David is out working in the rain, then I will be out there supporting him in the rain. So I went and found a puncho that I had bought and forgot about and donned it and David got to work. All morning in the rain. We are just talking and he’s working just getting to know each other. David is a good man and sound electrician. He did a wonderful job installing a new electrical box and riser and I was very pleased with his service. Thanks David and Richard (service manager) for seeing to it that my power was restored that day. I appreciate it more than you know.

    Brda Electric answered my initial inquiry quickly, and within minutes, I was scheduled, using their scheduling software. Zach arrived on time, wore shoe covers and answered all of my questions. He was very delightful to work with and was able to add on a service that I hadnt initially specified.I had a battery operated Ring doorbell that I wanted charged to a wired doorbell and I had been told by many other big firm electricians, that it couldnt be done. Zach explained to me how it could definitely be accomplished and he also went over possible unforseen issues that may arise -but thankfully it was straightforward. He was patient, knowledgeable and I plan to use Brda again due to his going the extra mile.

    I can not say enough great things about this company! They are unsurpassed in every area- truly. Adam Long was my person who came to see and bid my job, fabulous. He was honest, took his time, friendly and knowledgeable and available several times for questions. Lexi was the office gal who helped with my wonky schedule. Techs were as follows, Robert T( hercules ;), Sam, Mikhail, Mark Mc- Every single person who was here was courteous, hard working, professional and thoughtful to pick up. From the get go, this outfit is a class act. I will never ever use another electric company again . After their work, I am even more certain that I had non caring, not educated companies before who did not care, I was just a number-. I knew it but this solidified it. I feel Brda is also fairly priced. They are a teeny bit more on some things but less on others so it evens out. They are worth every single penny. So thrilled that they finally went residential.. You can not go wrong with them- they surpass every other outfit Ive used and I am in my 50s.     Brda has fair pricing and incredibly kind employees. Zach just left and I couldnt wait to rave about his service.     Jennifer was knowledgeable and fantastic at planning a Tesla PowerShare / EV charger installation. I was worried about possible delays given numerous stories on-line about Tesla customers working with other electrical contractors whose projects were waiting indefinitely on third party QMerit approval, but my experience with BRDA shows that those reports were more likely the fault of the other electrical contractors. BDRA’s relationship with QMerit really helped this project go through quickly. Very happy and would definitely work with again. Thanks to Jennifer and Kyle for the professional install experience.

    Russell and Sam showed up prepared and on time. They were able to complete all the work that we had discussed in the initial estimate in a clean and timely manner. The Tesla standalone EV charger and controller box work perfectly and have a very clean fit and finish. They also cleaned up their workspace and didn’t leave any trash or scraps lying around. Needless to say I was very happy with the service and would recommend to anyone looking to get any electrical work done.

    I called Brda electric when half of my house electricity went out after a storm including my a/c in 90 plus weather.They were quick to respond and Kenny came out within an hour and tried to get my power back on . Unfortunately we came to the conclusion that I needed to replace my electric panel.When I called to set up to replace the panel they set me up within a couple of days. This time Russel came out and he installed the panel and tested everything but unfortunately we still didn’t have full power due to the main power line issue. He quickly made an emergency call to the electric company to come out asap and resolve the issue. After the electric company fixed the issue I still didn’t have a/c and it was after hours by then but Jennifer made a special trip and she fix the problem.I want to say special thanks to Kenny , Russel and Jennifer for their dedication to get my power back on as quickly as possible .They were very professional and explained and answered to any questions I had.Thank you for the great service

They did a great job with the overall install and worked very hard all day laying and bending thick conduit in a difficult trench. He was able to assess the situation swiftly, and work with me to lay out a few options and determine what would best fit my needs. Not only was he able to get everything grounded, he did a great job of troubleshooting an existing problem that was found during the work and was able to address it on the spot.     Steve Hendrick is why I prefer to hire family owned business. After his first visit with me, I felt very comfortable in giving the job to Brda Electric. He liston to my ideas for the shed. He presented some ideas I didnt consider. He explained everything how the new system would work and the cost. At the completion of the job, he explained how to reset the circuit breaker for the light and outlets. As an paraplegic, he suggested to put the outlets up higher. This method allows me to utilized them without difficulty. No bending no moving things out way. Polite, Profesional, and Skilled equals AWESOME. When family and friends ask me if I know somebody who does electrical work. Ill tell them Brda Electric, as for technician Steve Hendrck.

    Jennifer and Mark from Brda Electric recently hardwired an EV charging station in our garage. They were prompt, friendly, and took the time to walk me through all the available options for the planned install prior to beginning work. The job required them to run cable from the basement breaker panel along the joists, and up through an interior wall into the garage. The job was done professionally and in a timely manner. After the install they cleaned up after themselves and verified that the unit was running properly. The only sign left behind to prove they were even here is the new EV charging station mounted on the wall. Great job!

    Had an Ameren planned outage due to some local construction and once restored had some breaker issues. I contacted several companies and Brda was by far the most responsive. They scheduled a tech to come out right away. My lead tech was Zach along with Russ who is new to the Brda family. Zach immediately made me feel comfortable.     I had a L2 EV charger and a whole house surge protector installed by Khean and Jennifer from Brda Electric. They did a phenomenal job from running the wire over the ceiling in my basement all the way to the panel, connecting it to the panel, professionally running it in conduit in the garage and cleaning after done. They were very organized, arrived right on time and did the job efficiently while keeping me updated on the progress. I was working from home and thought they will need to cut the power, but they did all the work without interruption to my electricity. I highly recommend the company and specifically Khean and Jennifer.

    Lost power in two rooms with no circuit breaker tripped. Brda were able to dispatch a technician same day. The technician, Montell, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and was able to locate the problem quickly. Problem was fixed in about an hour and the cost was extremely reasonable. I have plans for more electrical work to be done in the future and I will absolutely be calling Brda again.

    My only concern was that the response and follow up from the scheduling and updates of services was a bit challenging. I did hear that the office was in the process of hiring new people so that could be the partial issue being short staffed. If I did call in Nick and Adam were sure to get me an answer asap though. The return calls and them reaching out to me didn’t happen so I called in to make sure it got done since I was on a time crunch. With the installation and actual work from the technicians I give them 5 stars I live in a building that has multiple units and all of our main panel boxes had to be done together along with alumicon remediation all through out my home and a second panel. I had many technicians that assisted and they all were wonderful, I greatly appreciated their thoroughness in answering any questions or concerns I had and they executed a job well done. They were also very helpful and kind. Khean did the inspection initially for me and also worked on the main panel installation along with Jenifer and they were able to get it all done and power back up and running for my home in a very reasonable time frame considering all they had to work with. Russel did my main panel in my unit and did a great job taking out the old one and cutting a new hole for the new one. Zachariah came on short notice to assist with part of the remediation and did a great job. Then Kyle and Mikhil did the full remediation each and everyone of them were professional and throughout with all they did. My home is a bit older and they worked with care to get the job done as cleanly as possibly there was even a larger issue that I had been dealing with from something prior to their work and the owner come buy for a little to assist with something else for the technicians and he was very helpful in helping me find the issue and getting it resolved as best we can. I highly suggest Brda for any of your needs.

    I called Brda electric when a room in my house lost power. Montell, was extremely helpful, and explained possible problems clearly. During his investigation he noticed multiple other problems and provided me with multiple options on how to fix them. Even with me constantly changing my mind on how to address the problem, Montell was extremely patient. Brda is a great company and easy to work with. Definitely worth a call if you having any electrical problems.

    Our home is sooo much safer and the most important repairs are done! No more extension cords!!! My son’s room isn’t running off the bathroom. The exhaust fan in the bathroom works again. It’s been over 6 years since our electrical has worked properly. Brda electrician Montell did not hesitate to delve into identifying the root cause. He was courteous and confident in his work. A wire in the housing of our hallway light fixture had caught fire at some point and caused the power in adjacent rooms to stop working. He throughly explained what repairs were necessary and why.     Jennifer and Mark from Brda Electric just finished (minutes ago!) installing an EV charging station in our garage. Less than 2 hours after they received the referral, Jennifer phoned us after business hours and scheduled a site visit to our home in Illinois, to ensure they knew ahead of time exactly what we needed. During the installation today, she and Mark were extremely competent, friendly, and helpful. In fact, they went above and beyond, fixing the loose cable within our (previously used) charging station and mounting it securely on the garage wall. At our request, they installed a 50-amp circuit and ran cable from the basement breaker up through an interior wall into the garage. Afterwards they cleaned up and verified that the unit was running properly. Thanks very much - I highly recommend them!

    Last month I requested an estimate from BRDA Electric and they were quick to respond. From the time of the estimate to the scheduled date of service, the employees were prompt, respectful and professional. We wanted to update and install a few things and they were very efficient and the experience was very positive. The two that showed up for us was Shane and Zach who were very polite and professional. They finished the a majority of the job the first day with only a few things left to complete on the second visit. They were very welcoming whenever I had any questions and enthusiastic about the job to be done. It made us feel at ease and that we made the right choice! We would recommend to anyone.

    I found Brda Electric on Google and glad I went with them over other companies Ive reviewed. Scheduling an appointment was simple and easy, staff was friendly, and Khean Ho, my technician, showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. I even learned a few things about electricity in general (things you forget from high school LOL). He gave me recommendations for future things to look out for.     Khean came to help us with a number of electrical issues, primarily rewiring our sub panel and installing a surge protector.     Just had Brda Electric assist me in installing a Blink wired camera and lighting set up on my garage. Tech was very professional.     I’m so grateful to God for Brda Electric, they are absolutely amazing. I called today and was able to get service the exact same day, a few hours later. The electrical technician that serviced me, Khean Ho, when I tell you that he was absolutely amazing, I’m no exaggerating.     Brda designed and installed a Ring Security System in my home in December 2024. The system is perfect and does exactly what I wanted it to do. The first company I called shot me a price over the phone after a 5 minute chat. Brda’s Adam, however, insisted on seeing my home, listened to what I wanted, and designed a custom system. Only then did he give me a price.On the install date, Zach showed up on time (!), went to work immediately. He put ME to work as well. He wired up sensors and I privately entered codes for each. Then, he went to work on the front door lock. The equipment wouldn’t cooperate. Zach kept at it for a full hour. Co-worker Khean arrived about noon to help with the outside work, but he joined Zach and they worked another full hour to get that lock to behave.Finally, they started on the outside. They finished the job a bit after 5 PM. They didn’t take a break the entire day; they just kept working.Both Zach and Khean were easy to have around, courteous and considerate, even as they battled that front door lock. I did do a bit of arm-twisting to get them to install the key pad just inside the door leading to the garage rather than in the garage itself. They found a way to do it, even though it meant adding a line and cutting out a piece of drywall.I recommend Brda without reservation—I do suggest that you record the codes for each sensor—and plan on a full day “working” along with the crew to insure everything get positioned exactly as you want it. My thx to Brda for a job well done.

Electricians Zach and Khean were safe, efficient, friendly and professional.     Very professional organization. Called me immediately and set appt for the next morning.Sent me a picture and the name of the individual who would be doing the work.Khead Ho called that morning to confirm he was on the way.Upon his arrival he assessed the work and was able to give me an explanation of what the job entailed and the turnkey cost.He was quick in his work, and very thorough. I signed up for the yearly membership and they contacted me to make sure I used the yearly inspection that comes with it.     Zachs team showed up right on time to clean our solar panels. The panels looked clean to me but obviously were not as once the cleaning was done our output increased by about 25%! They also installed modules for our older inverters that will allow us to monitor the panels remotely. They were very knowledgeable on the solar panels and did a great job overall.They also installed a whole house surge protector that I had been wanting to do for some time. Great work and would highly recommend Brda Electric.

    I want to sincerely thank Adam Holmes of Brda Electric for repairing the circuit breaker and replacing faulty wiring in my house. He went above and beyond with helping empty, then removing a set of cabinets to get to the breaker panel. After the repairs he then rehung my cabinets making sure that the panel was easily accessible if more problems occur. Adam was professional and respectful and explained what was needed to get my heat and other appliances working.     I worked with Brda Electric recently to install a 240V outlet for charging my new electric car and they were really wonderful and really flexible. I cant speak much to price as the services were paid for by Chevrolet, but I can say they were very responsive with short waiting time, right on time to when they said, and they were even willing to change last-minute where they put the outlet compared to the original estimate while remaining polite and professional despite me changing what I wanted. My day-of electrician was Adam L, and he was so friendly and worked quickly. He really made the experience for me. I would be happy to spend my own money to work with these folks in the future.

    Austin Holmes was very proficient in finding the problem of why my furnace was not working during such extrema cold temperatures. I was an emergency call at location when said would be and found problem m corrected faulty neutral wire so furnace operated properly with in a half hr. It was a little pricey but considering emergency in bitter cold temps will worth it recommend me Holmes at anytime to fix problem on residential furnace thank you

    These guys were so awesome! They came back on a Saturday morning to finish up something, and who does that??? They were some of the only providers that we could even find to remove and reinstall my roof solar panels so I could get a new roof put on, but I was not disappointed! They were so nice, accommodating, efficient and hardworking. And, as a bit of an unexpected detour, we found that Adam had to rebuild my router to get my internet working again, b/c disconnecting and reconnecting the solar panels blew its little mind. Adam pretty much had to figure out how to do it by himself, b/c NetGear customer service wasnt, really. Adam kept asking if everything was OK, b/c he said it was really important that they maintained a good customer relationship. They sure did with me! And if I can just be Captain Obvious for a moment, I want to point out that maintaining a good customer relationship is the mark of an excellent business! I will sing their praises as soon as I figure out a nice tune that goes with Brda, Brda, what skillful electricians, what great customer service! I am now busy thinking of more things I need them to do!
