I had an excellent experience with Mike who was very personable and knowledgeable. He took his time to explain what would have to be done with 3 different projects. Because the cottage is 103 years old, he explained how some parts may not be available anymore so new fixtures would be needed.Finally he listed and explained in detail what the cost for each would be and how much could be saved along with other benefits by having the annual Gold Plumbing Package.We have been customers of Ray Thorn for many years and I’m glad to find out that he has sold his business to a reputable company!

A very big shout out to this company. We needed a plumber to fix our kitchen faucet which was so loose we couldnt use it. We werent familiar with any local plumbers, so we just started calling companies we saw online. No one answered our request for a call back. We tried one more, Neil Slattery Plumbing and Cooling in Farmingdale. They not only answered the phone, they gave us a quick appointment, sent a very knowledgeable young man, Ryan Dalton, who promptly fixed our faucet. In a world here in Jersey where its almost impossible to get a plumber to answer your call for help - let alone come to solve a problem at your house - Neil Slattery rises above the fray as the epitome of professionalism, commitment and honesty.Our builders special hot water system and anciliary units sprung a major leak and started flooding on Tuesday morning. After calling several other plumbers and getting the usual, were busy/well see if we can get there routine, a family member suggested we call Neil. By the late afternoon, Ryan J. of his expert crew was on the scene, diagnosed the problem, and worked on a remedy until the evening.On Wednesday morning, Neil himself was at our house after a very accountable set of calls from his office staff, Jeannie and Danielle. He brought along Ryan J. again along with the equally capable Matt, assured us that he had the siuation well in hand, and before the sun went down, we had a new unit and the supplemental parts all in place. And it has been working GREAT since then, and the overall price was considerably less than the initial call/refusers quoted off the top of their heads.You get in a plumbing jam in Jersey? Liam explained the process and how we can be proactive and keep the system cleaner and operating better. Neil was running late so we received a phone call indicating so. We appreciate that. He had to swap out old pipes for our new dishwasher and it was a tough install for the space. He also replaced the spicket outside that has been a constant problem for YEARS. So happy about that. We’ve also had some issues with a pipe in the laundry room which he rearranged, so that is no longer a worry. He updated our main water switch off line and also added an additional main switch off line for the outside spicket. Again, not something we asked for, but something he took upon himself to do. Anything that makes our lives easier as home owners is fine by us. He made a couple of other suggestions for inquiries we had. We would definitely use him again in a heartbeat. Also he was the Only plumber who returned our call. Something we noticed during the pandemic, it’s hard to get professionals to call you back.

I had a water pipe burst in my yard on Saturday morning of Labor day weekend . I called another plumber and he said no problem Ill be there on Sunday. When I got home from work early Saturday evening the problem was much worse, there water was everywhere. I called Neil Slattery and he came over at 7pm in the pouring rain to look at the problem. We decide the best thing to was to shut off my water, since it was running toward my house. He help my fill buckets to survive the night. Neil returned the following morning with his son and fix the problem. I was in a total panic that weekend and they saved the day. I call the other plumber to cancel and he had no voice mail.
