This company did us really well, their service, punctuality, and professionalism are all excellent. Give them a try you’ll see! It’s a long story, but let’s just say that they got to the actual tree root of the problem in the pipe joining two toilets and the tub on the first floor of our high ranch. These two toilets are the icing on the cake of excellence. They cleaned up very well and everything. Look at the smooth caulking/seal job of both toilets after they installed them. (A special shout out to Rich who finished up - you’re the man buddy! 😎. Hailey the receptionist is courteous and sweet - thank you so much!)

Robert Baldwin was amazing. I had 3 separate plumbing issues that were addressed. One was a leak that occurred in the basement whenever the shower was used. I dreaded calling a plumber, as I had no idea how much these repairs would be. Everything was diagnosed quickly and correctly. Robert was very professional, and was able to fix the problems with ease. The prices were reasonable too. I was extremely happy with the service I received, and would definitely recommend 1-Tom Plumber.

So this place is amazing, especially Rich, we had a nightmare with our last plumber who really took advantage of us and charged a fortune and made the problem worse. Will got right to work didnt try to extend the time it took or fix something that wasnt broke . They didnt even charge me for coming out to diagnose the problem . I would recommend 100 percent . The 2nd time we used 1-Tom-Plumber:It was the evening before Thanksgiving, and I heard a waterfall inside. My under the sink water filter sprung a leak and water was just pouring out. I shut the cold water and dried up the mess. Will, the best technician, was able to stop by and just remove the filter so we can at least use the cold water, since I have a lot of cooking to do. It was a 5 minute job. I am so happy. And we will call 1–Tom-Plumber again!

I needed a pretty extensive job done. I had to have one baseboard removed and the other baseboard reduced. Normally this wouldnt be that challenging but this baseboard was over a concrete slab. I called several plumbers. Some quotes were pretty high. One quote I received from a plumber that had previously done work for me was a little lower but to get this guy to actually come to the job was like pulling teeth or in this case plunging a really stuck toilet. All things happen for a reason. Once that plumber never returned any of my calls or text messages after he agreed to do the job I began my search once again. Everything happens for a reason. FORTUNATELY I found 1-Tom Plumber. I called, spoke with a really nice lady Hailey. She set up an appointment for me to get a no pressure estimate with Rod. Not only did Rod show up he was actually early. I told him what I needed done and he took me through all my options and gave me the information I needed to make the best choice to attack the problem. Things only got better from there. Rob showed up on the day of the appointment and I was honestly surprised there was only one person for this job. The floor had to be jackhammered then the trench had to be widened with a hammer, the cement had to be removed, the pipes had to be cut then fitted, the baseboards had to be pulled out. A new baseboard had to be put in all while Rob had to keep going up and down to and from the basement to bleed and drain the boiler. Besides a short trip to get a part he had to make, Rob did not stop for nearly for hours. He patched up the floor with concrete and cleaned everything up. He even took the time to bleed the boiler one last time when a baseboard in the living room was cold. The price was extremely fair, the work was extremely good and I am extremely happy. I deleted all the other plumbers numbers in my phone and replaced it with 1-Tom-Plumber as they are the only plumbers Ill call for any future needs.

It was a rainy Saturday night and my son comes up from the basement telling me that the sewer line backed up once AGAIN and there’s raw sewage all over the laundry room floor AGAIN. This used to happen on occasion but now it’s happening every few months.When it backed up in December, I made the decision to have someone come every 6 months to snake the line, as preventative maintenance and in June had the “$49.95” guy come and snake it.So, here we are, months later and raw sewage is once again on my basement floor. After checking out reviews on Yelp, I decided to call 1-Tom-Plumber and within an hour, Anthony shows up. He was professional, courteous and after I explained the situation and that it keeps happening, he was determined to fix the problem once and for all. I brought him down to the literal “s..t show” in the basement and he said that he was going to snake the line and then send a camera down to see what’s causing the backup. After sending the camera down the pipe, he showed me that it was the roots from the tree on the lawn that had forced there way into the Orangeburg pipe. This caused the inside diameter of the pipe to reduce to a small opening (about half of what it should be) and this is what the issue is. I asked him if the pipe could be reamed in order to expand the inside diameter and he explained that because of the material the pipe is made of, the pipe would collapse and that the only fix is to replace the pipe from the house to the street.I knew that this would be an expensive job and Anthony explained that they have financing if I wanted to go that route. I told Anthony to reach out to me during the week and we’ll set up an estimate for the job.Honestly, there’s cheaper out there, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Hopefully, the sewer line replacement goes as well as the initial visit.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review before (have to check my history), but I felt compelled to after the fantastic service that I received yesterday when our son caused a particularly bad clog in our toilet that we couldn’t plunge or snake ourselves. The person on the phone was polite and helpful, even calling me to let me know they were able to accommodate us earlier than expected (which is what we were hoping for due to our son having to get to bed), and Michael was stellar. He was SO polite, communicated well (including calls when he was on his way, being completely transparent about cost- and was very fair with pricing, explaining what he was doing as he was doing it, etc.), and did such a thorough job. He assessed the situation quickly, got our toilet working quickly, and even tested it several times with toilet paper to make sure it was “really” taken care of. He wore covers over his boots to keep our floors clean, politely checked for permission to come in and out of the front door at will (instead of just assuming), and even gave us a new plunger too! :). This company clearly knows “what it takes” to have a successful business and now to build positive relationships with customers. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received in an emergency flood situation where our sump pump failed. Rob was here within two hours of the phone call with a new pump, ready to go worked fast and left a very neat and tidy worksite. He took time to review all the aspects and future maintenance and make sure that everything was working in great condition and also took a look around the rest of the basement in case they were any other issues that were not easily detectable.

We had the cast iron drain pipe from hell with a huge hole in it that has been there since the house was in built in 1947. Though it was a rough job Mike and Will were patient and courteous through the whole process. They are very knowledgeable answered all our questions and concerns. The drain pipe from hell is gone and has been replaced with pvc and all for a reasonable price. Thank you to both these gentlemen for their service 🙂.

Anthony is the Best ever. 3rd Generation Plumber, very knowledgeable, inate teacher ( I learned a few things from Anthony about plumbing), clearly passionate about his craft, also very friendly. Anthony came quickly to fix the problem and got it done efficiently and cleanly. 1-Tom-Plumber you have a great asset on your team with Anthony. And he uses Knipex Pliers! I knew he was legit when I saw the Knipex Pliers . If I had to judge 1-Tom-Plumber based on Anthony I would have to say this relatively new plumbing company is great and is on the right path. Definitely would call them again. Thanks for helping me out. Btw, Love the I-Tom-Plumber van design!
