We have been looking for a new plumber after our previous one had retired. We hired Shawn from All Things Plumbing based on various reviews to fix a leaking shower head. This wasnt your typical job because our home is older and the previous owners seemed to take shortcuts with every update, thus the issue with our leaking shower head. An old part was needed that required a special order followed by plumbing access constraints, but Shawn successfully repaired the leak. He charged us a flat rate for the job which was more than reasonable give the amount of time needed to complete the repair. While here he also tried to help us free a hummingbird that was stuck in our garage and then he took a quick look at our gas fireplace and made cost-saving recommendations to us while changing the batteries in the battery box of the remote receiver. Sounds like small stuff, but I never met any other Master Plumber who would have spent such time helping us like Shawn did. Trust the reviews - he really is everything they say! Shawn showed up for this task on a Sunday and on his day off. He was very thorough explaining the problem with the pipe that busted behind the shower wall and how he would proceed to fix it. The job was very difficult since the pipe was behind old structural wood panels. Shawn was so patient, persistent and considerate that he was able to work through the panels, avoiding to damage the shower tiles or any additional bathroom fixtures. I am thankful that we have him as our plumber and will recommend him and his professionalism to anyone in need of genuine estimate and problem solving skills.

I called him to coordinate a date for service, and when he had a cancellation earlier in the week he called me to come over sooner.What really impressed me was that after he arrived, he cut into the drywall to inspect my situation, and once he finished giving me his recommendation, he taped the drywall back into place, which was something other electricians and plumbers I’ve used have never done. (Usually they just leave the hole and tell me to get a drywall person to fix it.) I’ll still need to get a dry waller to make it neat, but just taking the time to make it so I didn’t have a gaping hole in my wall was a little thing that left a big impression.Fortunately, I didn’t need any additional servicing, but I will definitely call Shawn again if I need anything in the future.

Shawn is amazing, and I highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs. I called him extremely panicked because our toilet had overflowed and our shower was not draining. He was calm and confident, asked me a couple of questions over the phone to get a better idea about the problem, and came out on super short notice to help us fix the issue. He came right when he said he would, had all the right tools, and was able to explain to us what he thought the problem was and what he was doing to fix it. He was spot on with one of his hypotheses (roots in the sewage line) and was able to fix the problem for us quickly. He also did a wonderful job cleaning up all the debris that our issue caused. Ive used Shawn 2x now for different natural gas related needs. The first time I had a leak in an outdoor gas line. The 2nd time I needed a swap out and installation of gas line. Both times Shawn was immediately responsive, told me when he was coming and showed when he said he would. The first issue was an easy fix which he quickly resolved and didnt overcharge for. The 2nd issue was completely perfectly and he got my gas grill line squared and away and working well. I plan to refer him to my friends and use him whenever I have any water or gas plumbing needs.

We discovered a pipe in our basement with a slow but steady leak on a Saturday morning. When searching for a plumber to repair the leaky pipe, we found Shawn’s company and decided to give him a call because he is not far away and we like to support small businesses when possible. Shawn answered the phone immediately and promised to come to our home right after he finished the job he was working on for another customer - he estimated it would be a couple of hours. Almost exactly two hours later, he was at our house and quickly diagnosed the problem and properly repaired the leaky pipe. He was efficient, courteous, professional and his work was excellent. Shawn recently installed a sump pump for me. Apparently the original builder dug the pit and had drainage, but did not install a sump pump unit. Shawn made sure that the drainage was correctly flowing into the pit, and cleaned the pit out of accumulated mud and debris before installing the new unit. Shawn was very methodical in explaining everything to me and answered all my questions, I would definitely hire him again.

I was concerned about a gas leak near our meter and our kitchen faucet water pressure is not normal. Based on his outstanding google reviews, I called Sean. He offered to come to my home after his last customer. Sean quickly assessed both issues, reassuring me that We do not have a gas leak (after performing a test) and directing me to first contact the manufacturer of the faucet to get them to replace the part that he identified (which I did while he waited and the correct part is being sent out). He also quickly determined the problem with our sump pump and gave me the model of the sump pump to purchase. He is extremely knowledgeable and practical. So i called around to a few places to get a tankless water heater installed (replacing a traditional electric one), to save on electric costs and to get longer runtimes on hot water in the shower. Shawn came in at a reasonable price and Im glad I went with him. Does very clean work, responsive, and gets it working. Had a few hiccups with Rinnai (Rinnai not including all the accessories with the newer model tankless heaters). Shawn made sure to call Rinnai, get the parts needed asap and came back and made sure it was done (and done right). Installation looks was clean and professionally done. I would recommend Shawn for any plumbing work and will be calling him for my future house plumbing needs. Look no further for an honest and hard working plumber who doesnt upsell you on other items and does a professional and thorough job!

My outdoor faucet was leaking even though it was turned off for the winter. Shawn replaced the shut-off valve inside the house and the outdoor faucet. He did a great job in a short amount of time and explained what he was doing. I was worried that he would have to put a hole in the drywall to repair the outdoor faucet; but he was able to access the faucet by putting a 14 square hole in the ceiling so that I could just install an access panel. He sent me a link to the access panel that I could order and told me that he would come install it if I wasnt able to do it. Shawn is very professional and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend him.

And by request he also inspected the (1) water pressure in our master bathroom as the pressure seems low, and (2) water heater in our garage, and provided maintenance/repair advice and said hed get back to me with estimates. Overall, my wife and I are very satisfied with his service and the knowledge he provided. Will definitely consult with him again for future projects!
