I had a fantastic experience with Anderson Plumbling during my kitchen remodel. Ben Anderson was kind, professional, and detail-oriented, recommending the best products for my project. Both he and Dublas did an exceptional job, paying close attention to every detail during the installation of the fixtures. They were extremely polite and helpful throughout the entire process, maintaining a high level of cleanliness, organization, and punctuality at all times. Im very grateful for their support and honesty, I will definitely continue working with them in the future. Thank you to the Anderson Plumbing team; they are simply the best!

I called Anderson after a terrible experience with a larger plumbing company who did not honor the warranty on their work. The first company did $1800 of work to unclog a kitchen sink that had never worked great and less than two months later with very light use (I was gone 1/3 of that time and have barely cooked when home), it was backing up again. Their solution this time didnt pass the smell test (best option was over $6400) - and they charged a $75 visit fee that would only be waived if I let them do more work. I wanted a second opinion.I was looking at reviews and Anderson has consistently great ratings. They also are a smaller company - Ive generally had better work out of smaller local companies than the big companies that tend to do very formulaic repairs. Anderson was able to get me in quickly, since I was near a scheduled job. They were on time. They did some more investigating to check the other companys estimate and proposed a better solution to the problem (better chance of success with the initial, cheaper option because theyd approach it from a better direction). I was impressed with Ben and his helpers - they really knew their stuff. To top it off, they offered a better service than the cheapest option from the other plumber and their price was a bit lower. If the cheapest option (snake) didnt work, their next option (hydrojet) would have been a significant savings (sounds like close to 50% of the other quote). I will be using Anderson again next time!

Not only did they handle the job with efficiency and skill, but they also went above and beyond by taking the time to pet our dog. I dont write a lot of reviews, but two different things impressed me about Anderson Plumbing. Well... three.First, when I had a drain backup they responded right away and were out the next day, apologizing that they couldnt get out any sooner. I called them like at 7PM, I had no expectation that they would be out that night.Second, they gave me a short term fix, for a reasonable price. But they recommended I go with a larger firm for the permanent solution. I always appreciate it when a business recommends at their own expense another business.Third, I did have them back for a different tub problem that I had been given wide ranging estimates for. Jose and Nathan came out were able to survey the tricky situation from underneath and resolve the issue without tearing up any tile or removing the tub.It is not exaggeration to say that this saved me anywhere from $800 in one estimate, to $5,000 on another estimate. And that higher estimate would have left me looking for a tile contractor to fix everything.Thanks very much Anderson Plumbing!

Ben and his team are the best plumbers weve worked with. Bens reliable and honest, and his work is meticulous. Theyve replace our hot water heater (even coming earlier than planned because his scheduled cleared up), changing the pressure valve, and he did work at my parents house. Updated 9/10/24: latest experience with Anderson Plumbing today was exceptional just like in the past. They were right on time, assessed the issue with the basement sump pump, explained in detail what they advised to do, and after I Lee yes to replace the unit they did an excellent job. They cleaned up after and were so nice and professional. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.Previous review: Needed a plumber to install a new utility sink and hot water heater. Bens company Anderson Plumbing was recommended to us through a local Vienna online group. We could not be more pleased. Ben called me to set an appointment and was right on time. Initially, he was there to install a utility sink only, but noticed our how water heater was past due to be replaced (I had already been thinking of doing it). He quoted me a fair price and scheduled all the work for the following week.The install of the utility sink and new hot water heater was great with no issues. Ben does a great job explaining their work in a way non-plumbers would understand. We will definitely use Anderson Plumbing again for future jobs and we highly recommend them to others looking for an excellent plumber.

This will be something in the way of an intuitive review. Ben Anderson struck me as an honest, hardworking and straightforward person from the moment he walked in the door. He then proceeded to diagnose an odd problem of dropping water pressure at various faucets, and offered several repair possibilities (just the minimum to address the immediate problem, or some preventive maintenance as well). Quick, responsive, professional, the whole package. I’ll certainly use him again.

Fantastic experience. On 8/21/24 I discovered water pooling in my basement. I was in hot water (literally, because my hot water heater was leaking). My wife quickly assembled all neighborhood recommendations, but it was 7pm and quite frankly, I thought we were in for a bit of a wait. I couldnt turn the valves to the unit so all the water had to be cut off. Mike from Anderson called me back after I left a message, and even referenced the stress in my voice asking if he should come out immediately. I explained the situation, provided some pictures, he knew he wouldnt be able to get a new unit that day, but set me up for 8am on 8/22. Ben Anderson and his helper were ready even earlier and got the job done fast. This wasnt easy in our little 1950s Sears kit house, not exactly a great operating area. From beginning to end, they were polite, explained everything so even I could understand, and fast. The price was reasonable (comparatively to various googlings) which was great considering how rushed we needed help. If youre in a jam, contact Anderson Plumbing!

Anderson Plumbing has helped me with several issues!First, I was referred to Jose Revello by a neighbor when I had a leaky faucet. Jose responded immediately and let me know when he would be available. I had to reschedule a couple of times as I was dealing with a sick kiddo and he was so understanding and flexible.When Jose and Dublas were on their way, they let me know their ETA and came promptly and right when they said they would. They immediately caught the issue and walked me through what they would need to do. They were thorough and very professional. I would hire Anderson again and specifically recommend these two! I’ve worked with other companies, and I also find Anderson’s prices very reasonable.Second, as we live in an older house, one of our vent pipes broke open and it left a very unpleasant smell. Anderson recommended a company that could detect where the leak was coming from and then Ben Anderson and Dublas came back and patched it up!I’ve been very happy with them and they are super nice gentleman! We had a pipe break and water was gushing everywhere, shut off valves werent working. Anderson Plumbing had someone to our house in 10 minutes! We spoke to Ben over the phone to schedule a visit for a semi-urgent issue, and the technicians able to come much more quickly than any other plumbing service. Jose and Dublas were AMAZING. They were very thorough, explaining everything and even taking the time to check out some other plumbing issues that we had questions on. In one visit, they got our fridges water line in working condition (and stayed to check for leaks), helped us figure out the flow of water to some of our mysterious external faucets, and provided suggestions for some odd, intermittent smells coming from one of our bathrooms. They also arrived at precisely the time they were scheduled to arrive, which is no mean feat and was greatly appreciated.Jose and Dublas are clearly very knowledgeable about their trade and were happy to share that knowledge with us. I plan to contact them for anything related to plumbing in the future and have no reservations in recommending them to any of my friends in Fairfax.

Despite desperate calls to multiple plumbers, we were met with unhelpful responses and hung-up calls. With water flooding (literally holding it back with our bare hands) and emotions running high, we had to resort to calling the fire department. They recommended calling a plumber ASAP. Ben from Anderson Plumbing not only promptly fixed the issue but also offered valuable advice to prevent future mishaps. His kindness and expertise were a huge relief after such a stressful ordeal. Ben is old school which means he’s outstanding, knowledgeable , articulate and CLEAN (no evidence he did a plumbing job )I used Ben TWICE in one monthMy office needed a garbage disposer and his work did not interfere with my daily operations. He installed a toilet – a very nice toilet (Toto) that I had in my garage for two years but never got around to doing it myself. I had ordered this high-end toilet from place in Florida and Ben had no qualms about installing a customer provided toilet. I highly recommend using Ben Anderson Plumbing. One more thing of importance, he apprenticed under another good old fashioned plumber who has been in the business for 50 years.

Expert plumbing service at a reasonable price! Ben Anderson did a great job fixing numerous plumbing problems for us over the years when he was with another company, so when two of our toilets needed repairs recently, he was the first person that I called. Ben (who is now the owner of Anderson Plumbing) and his apprentice Dublas arrived on time, quickly assessed our situation, and then expertly overhauled two of our toilets and had them running like new in no time at a very reasonable price! I also appreciated their attention to the little things, like wearing shoe covers when they came in our home, cleaning up after themselves, and offering helpful tips for avoiding future plumbing problems (like shutting off our water main when going on vacation to avoid costly surprises when we get home and easy steps to winterize our exterior faucets/hose bibs). I have been using Ben for at least 10 years now, and I cannot say enough good things about him. The work Ben has done has always been top notch, and I have never had any issues with the quality of his work. One of Ben’s strengths is how he listens and communicates with you. When I contact him with an issue or problem, he takes time to listen to me, and asks questions to determine exactly what services I need. He has always been very professional, shows up on time, advises me as to what the solution to the problem is, and what, if any options, there are. When he leaves, the work area is always spotless, and the job done correctly. We recently experienced a sewage leak in our basement on a Saturday night, putting our two full bathrooms out of commission. Ben reached out to me on Sunday morning and made time in his busy schedule on Monday in order to get us back up and running, and his fee was more than reasonable.

This is the second time Ive used Ben over for plumbing repairs. This time he was able to fix a shower head with a leak, fix a non-filling toilet and unstuck a bathroom faucet. The handle was going to be tough to fix and it wouldve been a lot easier for him if he had told me I needed a whole new faucet, but he spent the extra time to try to make it work with just a few new parts that Kohler replaced under warranty instead. When my usual trusted plumber wasn’t available to handle two plumbing issues I had, he recommended Anderson Plumbing to me. He spoke highly of Ben Anderson. Since it was after normal business hours, I texted my message to Ben and he called me back right away. After he understood that my two issues were not emergencies, he set an appointment for 2 days later, giving me a 3 hour arrival window. Today, Jose and his helper called to let me know they were en route and arrived at the beginning of that window. Both plumbers were very pleasant and took care to put on special rubber shoe guards to protect my home. After discussing both plumbing issues, Jose gave me a detailed breakdown of two possible solutions for the first issue. One solution was less expensive and would fix the issue temporarily, the second was more expensive, but a permanent resolution. He said he’d know more once he could view inside the pipes with a plumbing camera. We were able to view the issues as well. Once they started, they carefully protected all my wood floors, cabinets and every surface they touched. The problems were all fixed and then double checked to ensure no leaks. Finally, everything was cleaned up. I nearly fell over when they even mopped the floors, which had been completely protected throughout the process. These plumbers communicated all aspects of the process well, gave me two options, spelled out the costs in advance, expertly addressed all issues, protected my floors and cabinets, and cleaned up everything afterwards. If you need a plumber, call Anderson plumbing. You will not be sorry. I highly recommend them.

Ben is amazing. He was recommended to me through a moms group. I had a drain issue that I needed to get fixed. I spoke to Ben on the phone and sent pictures. He sent out his team the next morning(shout out to Jose!). They were right on time, kind and respectful. Jose was able to help me out with other issues I had around the house. He gave solid advice and did an amazing job fixing everything. He even identified another issue we were having with our hvac humidifier that we didnt know about. I definitely trusted their work and even my husband said this was the best plumber we have used.

Anderson Plumbing is really great. Ben called me back immediately and came the next day to access what was wrong with my toilet. He knew immediately what we needed and he ordered the parts and came back as soon as they were ready to pick up. He has really good communication skills and does not keep you waiting and he’s really awesome with plumbing stuff. He’s fast and good! And doesn’t upsell you or ask you to take a survey afterwards like some of the larger companies do! He’s friendly too!

Jose and Dublas were super kind and professional. They were upfront about not having dealt with the issue we identified and then did a very thorough job to investigate and ensure the plumbing wasnt a source for the issue. We werent nickled and dimed for every minor task like that you might experience with big contractors but instead discussed price for the significant parts of the work and offered a discount without us having to ask or pressure to do so. Great people and highly recommend.
